The hotel is very closed to the beach, but also close to the train station (10-15 minutes). Breakfast was very good, the hotel staff was nice and smiling. Even that the room doesn't have refrigerator/minibar, I ask and received from reception a very small minibar which it was perfect for a sandwich, beer or juice cans (used for free).

No comments, for me it was the best solution for quality, price and location.

Located in the heart of Oostende, this hotel is a has quite a bit of charm of the old days (art-deco dining room and many original details in the public spaces). Interiors of the rooms are a little bit more modern, albeit the age starts showing. The room was, however, clean and tidy. The owner/manager was very nice and offered an option to check in later than originally planned. She also offered guidance around the town, and was overall super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day rather well,

I would consider starting renovations as soon as possible, as the rooms are ageing and this translates into some things being broken or on the verge of being broken. WIFI didn't quite work.

A nice hotel that we stayed in for a day. Very nice staff who helped us with a special request. We were passing through and as the hotel is centrally located in the city and also close to the beach, it met our needs very well. Nice to be able to rent a family room as we spent very little time in the room and do not want to spend too much money on the accommodation

Another great visit to Ostend and stay at the Louisa. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room facilities were great for our needs and budget. The room was spacious and bathroom large. The breakfast which was included with our package was a buffet with a plentiful choice and amount. The staff were again helpful, polite and happy. The location is great - just a short walk from the seafront and main square. This is our go to choice of hotel for our visits to Ostend and will remain so on the strength of this stay.

Nothing. Everything was great. The toilet is a little close to the wall, but nothing to spoil it.

Lovely breakfast area with lots of choice. Corner with free coffee and pastries in the entrance area. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, very clean and well equipped rooms.

The Hotel Louisa is well situated near the centre and beachfront of Ostend. Our room was small but everything we needed. A small fridge is available from reception - free of charge. The room walls are a little thin, so if your a light sleeper I would recommend you use the complimentary ear plugs. There's adequate wardrobe space and there's plenty of hot water. We took the breakfast option and are glad we did. There's cereals, fresh breads, pastries, toast, fresh boiled eggs, a selection of cold cut meats and cheese, fruit, Yoghurt and hot scrambled eggs and bacon. Theirs a coffee machine for reviving yourselves after sampling the delicious belgium beer and food. Theirs also chilled fruit juice and water. The staff - predominantly Francis are very helpful, both with questions about the Hotel, Ostend and Belgium in general. We would continue to choose The Louisa as our go to option for hotel stays in Ostend.

The walls are thin and you do hear noise from other rooms. But if your not yo bothered by this then I would recommend the hotel.

Small family hotel close to the beach. Fine atmosphere and very kind staff. The hotel is in the centre of everything in the city. Many restaurants and bars are around, also markets and fireworks.

There are lots of noisy tourists around and in summer you can hear them through the open window. But I was there during the weekend.

Wonderful breakfast. Nice staff, very kind. The position is good. I had no issues with check-in, even if I arrived after the closing of the reception.

It wasn't the best room I have ever been to, in terms of aesthetic, but it was functional and it had all the comfort I needed!

We had the cheapest room, so cannot really complain. But could not close the window and the fan in the bathroom din't work.
