The breakfast was excellent even it can be more diversified according to my opinion. For example more types of cheese and ham as local products will be nice. The staff is very kind and professional. Especially if you speak French even all of them have a good command of English too.

These are NOT negative aspects but some observations with a view to improve the information on website according to the actual reality: 1. The iron and ironing means not the room but the hotel facilities. 2. In the room there are a water heater, coffee, tea, sugar, milk cream, mineral water every day. There is no information on site about all these. Why? 3. When you buy a “superior triple room” you receive a triple or a double one? It was a short discussion at the reception about this but the lady at the front desk quickly and kindly solved the “dispute” about our request to have two beds and not one in the above mentioned room type.

We received a free upgrade without asking, so nice! The hotel is located next to a "quite busy street, however, when you enter the hotel, all the noise seems to fall away. It is not a big building, but it has his own private parking spot for the guests. You could tell it is not out dated, it looks very modern and here and there you come across some beautiful art work. Breakfast was great! Besides the "normal" goodies you can choose from the buffet, there were also options to get some fresh cooked egg/scrambled eggs/sausages and wafles. :) The staff is very sweet and helpfull. If we ever come back to the area, we definitely book at your place.

Location, cleanliness, quietness, the breakfast!

The young lady staffing reception was not particularly pleasant. Upon checking out I was asked to pay a second time, despite having already paid when booking the room. When I queried the request to pay again, she simply said “we don’t always get all the details”. If that is true, that is quite an administrative problem. If it is not (eg. she just did not check before asking a customer for payment again), then it amounts to appalling customer service. In summary, a good experience marred by a single staff member’s attitude.

The breakfast was not included & was a bit pricy for what it was. Very convenient location for visiting Waterloo museums (one Wellington’s HQ)just 150m away make sure you get the 3-site ticket if you’re serious. If you can only make it to 2 sites, buy them separately 😉). Nice garden. Quiet, despite being so near the High St (it’s behind other buildings). The young female staff were all very pleasant & helpful.

Breakfast to be cheaper & included. The restaurant was shut — probably due to August holidays.

Everything went well at the Cote Vert. Hotel lovely, gardens delightful, parking plentiful, rooms excellent with everything one needs, staff charming, food delicious, breakfast outstanding, dinner very good. Only criticism is that we would have like the restaurant to have been open at the weekends.

Restaurant closed Saturdays and Sundays.

The room was really nice, the restaurant was exceptional- really nice staff and lovely food. The bar area, inside and out, was really pleasant. The lady on reception who wears glasses- we didn't get her name but she was so friendly and sweet- nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again.

A well-appointed, comfortable hotel in all respects. Easy private parking. Excellent location only 300 metres from Musée Wellington in town centre, but in a tranquil setting behind attractive garden and free from traffic noise. Very good restaurant for evening meals. First class breakfast buffet. Very good value for money. Strongly recommended.

That we only stayed one night. We want to explore the town of Waterloo the next time. This time we saw Waterloo museum, Lions Head and the battlefield.

The location is perfect, with restaurants nearby, the hotel also has on-site parking which is great. And the breakfast was really good with a lot of options available, including freshly prepared food.

There was only one person manning the reception/bar, so getting a drink took quite some time. But they were very friendly when they did manage to serve us.

Quality hotel, oozing class. Well located, plenty of parking, fantastic restaurant adjoining and good breakfast.

Just the room service was below par on this occasion, having to ask for tea/coffee/mugs and there is no point in leaving one uht milk.
