Great location right at the bus stop in the middle of the countryside for a cheap and ez 15 min trip to Brugges. Beautiful wonderful family running their hotel. Great facilities and rooms. Really nice breakfast with nice service. Expensive for us, but trying to find a better value in the Brugge region that had car parking was hard. Would easily stay here again. Clean and comfy and friendly for sure :)

For us the price was very high but that may be because of the great location in the country but close to Brugge with parking.

It was very clean, tidy, welcoming and so Chrismassy! It was warm and very homely. Parking right out the front, breathtaking views and a stunning example for a family run hotel. The rooms were great, as were the bathrooms and all facilities in the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic. The owners were very attentive and polite and very helpful. On arrival they gave us a map of Bruges and gave us an overview of the best places to go, routes we could walk, places we could park, restaurants to visit and even the costs! The price of the hotel was amazing for what we received, especially given the time of year! We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

BHB is such a lovely place. it's about 10 mins out of Bruges but the bus literally stops outside!! And this weekend ( xmas 2024) the 40 bus was free! The couple who own the hotel are fabulous, really helpful and made us feel very welcome. our room was spacious,extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable, I found it hard to get up. I am not great at sleeping in hotels, no matter how many stars but in our room the bed was amazing. We absolutely loved all the decorations around the hotel. breakfast was plenty and delicious with local bread and pastry, eggs and ham, lively coffee. we could also leave our car in the carpark after check out so we can go back to Bruges for more xmas fun before our return home. we will be back in the spring for more Bruges fun. The owners stayed on late to welcome us as we couldn't get there earlier. We had the family room which was like an apartment you could probably have a family of 6 in there easily. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice very well presented and our hosts couldn't have been more helpful. It was our first visit to Belgium and the husband gave us directions each day to places to visit even telling us the best places to park. Truly above and beyond.

Mh wife had one small niggle that she would have found it helpful to have a mirror in the lounge/bedroom area where the light was better

I like the decor of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect.

Some of the furniture look tired, need replacing. The room is by the roadside and you could hear road noises if you leave the window open. The bathroom in the top room was badly designed and it was awkward for showers and toileting standing up.

Very clean, cosy inside, spacious room, ok internet, perfect breakfast with good choice of hot dishes, sweet and savory. Hosts are very nice. Close to Bruges and possible to use the bus (bus stop across the road), but service is only hourly.

The room seems not to have any ventilation neither in the room nor in the bathroom, so it was super stuffy and humid (after taking showers). There is a kind of breezer on the window but it’s not enough. Besides with it open, it gets super noisy from the road.

Breakfast was amazing - plentiful, varied & really set us up for the day The owners were very helpful with plenty of info for visiting Bruges & local restaurants. Useful lounge room for guests with an honesty bar with extra tea, coffee & mini bar. Lovely breakfast room overlooking the open landscape behind the hotel.

We had a 'below stairs' room which didn't have any view (only of the side entrance to the rear car park) but the room was big enough & very clean & we didn't have any problems with traffic noise.

This was a last minute booking, as we decided to stay the night instead of driving back to Holland. We totally enjoyed our stay. Really peaceful and welcoming place. The owners are extremely gracious and friendly. The room itself is nice and with a huge bathroom and good, not toosoft beds. Beakfast was superb! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends.

Very nice accommodation, every corner it’s a cozy spot ! Big room, clean, fridge provided and I appreciated that the towels were smelling good ! The breakfast was really nice, diverse, five stars for the effort to arrange and serve everything ! If we will return in Belgium we will definitely search to stay here again !

Very nice small Hotel, great breakfast, near Highway, free parking....totally different to big companies, the owners are a couple who Invest a lot of time and love in every detail of the rooms, breakfast and the whole Hotel....yes, some hotels are cheaper, but If you have to pay the parking and the breakfast seperatly it is much more expensive otherwhere...
