Well, there are a few things that we liked about this hotel. First, the location of the hotel is good on the river. Second, the reception staff is so kind, welcoming, and understanding. Third, the rooms are very clean and quiet.

Actually, we didn't expect the rooms to be empty from the typically provided free facilities such as the boiler, iron, coffee, tea, water, and even tissues. The air conditioner is also so weak, especially with the high temperatures we encountered during our stay. We were also disappointed with the unprofessional treatment we received from the breakfast staff. We were asked twice not to sit on specific sections of tables inside and outside the restaurant because they were not set for breakfast. A set of these seats were on the river. We have never experienced something like that, especially with being guests in the same hotel. And the way the staff informs us about that is tactless and unapologetic. Also, the breakfast is cold and so limited for a 4-star hotel.

Their hospitality was wonderful; the waiter at dinner truly touched our souls with such warmth and sincerity that we decided to stay an extra day. The hotel was clean, beautiful, and well-kept. A lovely place, a great base for day trips.

The housekeeper didn’t replace our towels, which was a bit inconvenient. At breakfast, I had to pay for a café latte because it wasn’t included, which I didn’t particularly appreciate, as most hotels usually don’t make an issue of this at breakfast.

We arrived very late in the night after a flat tire and only stayed until morning but we could see that the hotel is very nice and very new, the crew was friendly. We could take our room at 4:00 AM which is a big plus.

The vegetables/fruits at breakfast were mostly empty when we went down and it was not too late (8:30). I would expect from a place like this to refill the stands regularly. There were no separate lights at the bed, all or nothing with the main switch. But I think this will be improved as the hotel was still very new.

The staff in the hotel as well as the restaurant was incredibly nice, polite and professional. 10/10 points for the service! The room was nicely kept, good maintenance of the interior, especially the shower. The view on the river was amazing. The coffee on the breakfast buffet makes also a very positive difference to other hotels, since it is a high-quality coffee served from the kitchen and not one of those typical industrial all-in-one coffee machines.

The location is extraordinary and really nice. The place was picked due to its proximit to nearby attractions. The hotel is well decorated and has a very modern feel! The breakfast is great and have a good dinner menue as well!

I had two rooms, one of which has a non functional rain shower. Upon inquiry, it seems like the issue was known and was suggested to use the side hand-held shower. The hotel is very new and might have some technical flaws. Room phones were also not functional.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our dinner was delicious, drinks in the bar were lovely too, our rooms were comfortable and clean, and the decor and surroundings so unique. Hotel Buna is one of the most beautiful hotels we have been to. This is the fourth time we have been here and we are always happy to come back. The reason is the friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious food, nature and pleasant ambience.

Excellent hotel. Great service. The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities I needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices. The people in the reception were very helpful. The location is absolutely stunning! I would recommend it to my friends, and will definitely stay again!

everything was perfect, this is a brand newly built/remodeled hotel to international standards, one of the best and most luxurious and comfortable you will find in Bosnia, on a lovely river location. While there is nothing to do in walking distance, it is a great place to stay if you have a car, or for us, traveling for a long holiday around the area, it was a great place to spend a night to relax and refresh in a spacious, clean room with a big shower after 5 days in old town Mostar, which does not have such modern, spacious accommodations. The food was amazing and a shockingly good value (perfectly prepared truffle and steak gnocchi for the price of Cevapi?) and George provided fantastic service during our entire stay. The restaurant has a huge indoor and outdoor area but fills up with locals dressed nicely for a fancy dinner - it’s really nice to have such an option in Bosnia, we didn’t even find something so nice in Sarajevo for twice the price. Definitely reserve a waterfront table for dinner - without a reservation even on a weekday otherwise you won’t be able to get a table. I don’t know if you would even be able to get an outdoor table at all during the weekend without a reservation. Excellent Bilingual service from everyone, super comfortable beds, central air, well stocked mini bar in room, just beautiful. It’s so nice to have something like this on offer in Bosnia.

Extremely friendly staff, very clean and well equipped. The hotel also runs a good restaurant with a spacious and beautiful terrace by the river. Excellent location for taking trips into surrounding towns and other tourist attractions.

Everything was within and above expectations.
