This is a 4 star hotel located 2 blocks from Paulista Avenue and 2 blocks from the closest metro station (Trianon-MASP), which is definitely the fastest and easiest way to travel within Sao Paolo. I had a rental car but I did not really use it much except when going outside the city. It has all the usual amenities (refrigerator, clothes iron, hair dryer, TV, AC, etc). The only thing lacking would be a microwave. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and had an ample variety of food (all you can eat).

Parking was onsite, but you don't get to park your own car. Parking costs extra but was reasonable, R$20 per day. The person in charge of the parking lot parks your car both in and out of the garage (valet parking), and you leave the car key with that person all the time the car is parked in the garage. This could be convenient or not (up to you).

I really liked the staff, they were very cordial not only with the basic needs, but also some specific requirements I had - my brother stayed two nights only with me, while I stayed four nights, and they were very fast to answer my questions about paying for an extra guest for only partial time

An extra would be to have smart TV options for entertainment, but the hotel met all my expectations and didn't lack anything

I have been staying here for several years when I visit SP. The staff remains incredible: whether you are looking for football (soccer) tickets or wholesale zippers (yes, really) staff members will find out what you need to know. 24-hour reception and parking staff ensure a feeling of security. The Farm Breakfast is probably one of the most comprehensive I have ever seen: native dishes, continental breakfast, omelet/tapioca station, daily differences. Location is two blocks from Av. Paulista, about 10 minutes to the Metrô (Trianon-MASP), and just north of some fun boutique shopping (& a massive Carrefour). Trianon Park is a short walk, and restaurants abound.

NOT dislikes, just observations. This used to be an off-the-beaten-path little area in the center of São Paulo’s business world, but its location is being exploited: 3 massive new developments are rising, one right next door to the hotel: construction starts about 7 AM. With the construction, traffic can be nerve-wracking. The infrastructure could use a little refreshing: some of the furniture in the public areas appears dingy & stained. The internet’s 2.4 setting may have worked a decade ago, but with new apps & greater need for bandwidth, you may find (as I did) that it becomes impossible to download professional documents successfully. But I’ll return again, just because of the staff.

Our stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room was cozy and the bed very comfortable, making for a good night's rest. Initially, we were given a room on a lower floor with a view of the front street. However, upon our request for a quieter room, the staff kindly moved us to a room facing the backyard, which was much more peaceful. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of options to choose from.

However, the bathroom required maintenance. The flush was not working properly and the tap was constantly dripping. We reported these issues during check-out, and the staff assured us that they would fix them promptly.

The Estamplaza is a great hotel. The room was almost perfect. The welcome on arrival was great. All of the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing with lots of options, including an omelette bar. We would be very happy to stay here again

The rooms are very good but could upgrade the facilities to include telephone charging points beside the bed and replace the old television with a Smart TV...

Hotel is amazing, good looking and perfectly located, just 5 min walk from Avenida Paulista. Staff was wonderful, very kind and extremely helpful. Rooms are very nice, spacious, clean and well equipped. Sauna, gym and pool are fair enough. Breakfast is amazing, broad variety of choices, anyone would pick something. Honestly best hotel I stayed in Brazil.

A bit noisy from the street.

This has been my “home” when I visit São Paulo for a couple years now. The staff is always ready to assist. Usually an English speaker is on duty during the day. The breakfast buffet offers options like “farm breakfast” “healthy stop” and plenty of fruit. Not strictly speaking an “elegant” location, but being two blocks from Avenida Paulista has advantages, and restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are all within a few minutes by foot. Generally a safe area from my experience. Taxi stand just outside the property, but Uber is available, too.

Someday I’d like to teach them how to make scrambled eggs where the whites & yolks aren’t runny and separated.

Spacious room with sofa. Comfortable bed. Decent bathroom. Shower cabin was a bit tight. WiFi good. Breakfast had many choices, a live cook for eggs and tapioca. Friendly staff, attentive.

Although everything is working and quite clean, the hotel is ready for a refresher. The style is outdated. The air conditioning is not up to date (but working!)

The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful but spoke little English. So I got by with my Spanish . The breakfast was excellent as well.

The washroom shower could use some updating and the TV selection was limited and the mage was fuzzy.

The staff and the location makes this a great hotel. Location was close to late night snacks, rooftop bar, restaurants, sites and shopping. We walked to many places and ubered to others. The staff was exceptional, which I was able to see because we had a problem caused by our own mistake. The staff went above and far beyond what I could have hoped, I really didn't hope for the generosity they offered. Thank you staff at Estanplaza Paulista! Also a shout out to the chef for omelets, He was very nice, and cared about the food. Omelets were great. One more, I left a tip (6 real) for the cleaning staff and they left a thank you note! So sweet.

The towels are thin, perhaps it would work better if you could leave a few more. Perhaps having towels at the pool or more towels in the room would be nice, too. We did not have wash clothes.
