The surrounding area is beautiful. You can see turtles and wonderful fish passing by. Nobody at the beach ! Very safe. The free shuttle going to Santa Maria.

The bed was not comfortable. Nothing in the room. Cabo Verde produces its own coffee but no coffee in the room, so we had to buy everything, The reception is very far from the rooms. Not enough food was served at the restaurant so I was still hungry after eating. Only one main dish and dessert, that's it. I expected more. Also it would be better if it was a buffet because even though very friendly, the waitresses didn't speak basic English nor French and couldn't explain what was being served before ordering. It would be beneficial for everybody to teach them some basic vocabulary relating to food, at least . Sad only water was included. It would have been nice to have at least one glass of wine or 1 beer.

The location was really good. Far from tourist trap like Santa Maria, but still in a close proximity by bus provided by the hotel free of charge twice a day. Staff at the reception was ready to help, organised our pick up from and to the airport. Pool was big and was cleaned everyday. Exceptional beaches, clean and empty. Dinners offer good selection of different daily dishes.

Rooms need some touch-ups. The rooms overall are very big, with nice little terrace, cleaning lady was diligently cleaning everyday. However, some modifications, especially for bathroom are needed. Breakfast had a limited choice with small portions. The waiters did not explain if we could get more than one dish per person or it’s one per person, which would be far from enough for an adult. Buffet would be much better.

The fact they have a van to do transfer to Santa Maria during the day.

The Wifi was not working for 2 days. When we complain about it, they changed our room and then we could use the internet. The other thing is not nice and we didn't know is that for the breakfast and dinner (we took half board), you can choose just one option from the menu.

An absolutely wonderful time at this property. The staff were some of the best ever. Extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating to all our requests. They went well over and beyond what is usually expected. The property was cleaned every day with fresh towels and linen when necessary. Not too far from the ocean. Lovely pools and restaurant facilities. It’s a really lovely place to totally relax and chill out. It comes highly recommended.

Murdeira was an incredible surprise! We are in front of the beach where the turtles nest, and we have total view and access for that. Also, we have the entire view to one of the best mountain in Sal. The staff is amazing, super friendly and professional, from the manager Vera to everyone at housekeeping, front desk and the restaurant. Huge thanks to everyone, we will definitely come back

WiFi was available only in the reception's hall, no WiFi in the room (But it was actually ok for us for spending our holiday time in the beautiful nature country)

First international visit. Didn't speak any Portuguese, yet somehow we communicated. Verda & Maria and the entire staff helped make my first international trip and my 70th birthday memorable and pleasant. Discovered my birthday is the same as their Labor Day, so it was a day of celebration for all!

Would have preferred more variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes in the menu.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of friendly cats & dogs. Being right by the sea was amazing & the pool looked great but it was a bit too cold outside for us to swim- I'm sure it's wonderful in summer. We were just there for 1 night and reception helped us book a taxi to the airport

Very clean and situated near to the pool and restaurant. The sheltered cove was so safe and the beach was lovely

The fridge had frozen up and the ice melted on the floor. The tv never turned on.

Very nice and helpful staff. Taxi from and to airport were well arranged. The room was large with a nice private terras. Rooms were cleaned daily and two large bottles of water were offered at arrival. There is a small shop nearby that I used to get a cheap local SIM card (2€ for 1GB of data - doesn't get any better than that :-)). The formula with all means included was very nice: the morning a buffer with all I could wish for and the other meals are 3 courses with choses of meat, pizza, fish, veggie, ... There was sufficient room around the pool area and there is a great view on the sunset! I highly recommend to rent a scooter in Santa-Maria for a couple of days, allowing to easily discover the best parts of the island. Also here, the reception gave me very good pointers.
