I booked a balcony room and it was quite large with a very modern bathroom. Location wise - it’s right across from the bridge that goes to the old town so it was very walkable. The hotel had the most well equipped gym I’ve ever seen in a hotel and the pool area was very relaxing with a lot of shaded areas available as well as pool side service. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and I appreciated the omelette and noodle soup station. The staff were lovely and always willing to assist.

The wifi in my room was intermittent which may be a hotel issue or a Battambang issue. Regardless, the staff did provide me with a booster that helped.

Incredible value. Good location by the river and walk across bridge to other side where most places are. Excellent big gym and pool with a pool bar. Very cosy and love the traditional wooden furniture and decor in all the rooms, lobby and dining room. Breakfast was OK. Battambang very quiet nightlife but nice place for cafes and see the attractions nearby. The hotel can organise you bus and boat rides toSiem Reap, Phnom Penh etc. V nice cafe right next door with a small private cinema to hire rooms in groups

I did get food posioning but could have been from anywhere, so just be careful what you eat

This hotel lives up to its name. It is very comfortable, old but obviously it has been refurbished. Everything works very well, the rooms are well equipped, quality sheets, pillows and towels, very comfortable bed... The staff is extremely helpful and efficient, everywhere I have dealt with them: at the reception, at the pool, at the restaurant, at the laundry. The pool is magnificent, the breakfast plentiful and varied.. I have only compliments to make. This hotel beat my expectations. I will return.

The ambience of the hotel is wonderful, and the location is excellent. One can easily walk to many places from there. The night market just outside is really fun. The breakfast is exceptional, and the roof restaurant is lovely.

The elevator doors close extremely quickly, so quite often they started to close as we walked into them, which wasn't very comfortable. I would have liked a little more communication from the front desk staff.

The hotel has... 1. a very good location not far from the city center and right on the river 2. a very good and extensive breakfast buffet 3. very good internet quality 4. good firm mattresses 5. a well-cooling refrigerator 6 a roof terrace with a sky bar on the 10th floor and a great view over the city 7. a friendly team that always tries hard (but in the end can't really answer questions about bus connections or renting a motorbike etc...)

...the south-facing room that I initially had. The sun shines on the windows all day long. But since the air conditioning was broken anyway, I exchanged it for a north-facing room. So always pay attention: No room facing south (the hotel only has north or south facing rooms)

The hotel itself is exceptionally beautiful. There are dark wood accents every which provide a very warm and elegant atmosphere. The breakfast offerings are extremely varied and delicious.

I reserved our room in February and was promised an upgrade to a superior double room with a private entrance and balcony overlooking the pool. When we arrived, we were given a normal double, no balcony, and no pool view. I complained and was told the hotel was full. There was nothing they could do. With 9 months to prepare for our arrival, I find this excuse unacceptable.

The location by the water was central and great: walking distance to the famous market, directly at the boulevard for a walk during the day. Locals use the boulevard late afternoon/early evening to meet, eat and play/dance, so great to mingle, watch and eat streetfood. Breakfast buffet was extensive and varied. Enjoyed large swimming pool, and gym with good and varied equipment. Restaurant on top floor is unbeatable, great 360 view over the city and good food. Staff is overall very friendly.

Limited space to hang clothes in the room, especially if you are with 2 people, there is limited space to unpack. Balcony dusty. Had some misunderstanding with the ladies at the reception because of the language barrier - they do try their best and are very friendly. The reception area is full of dark, heavy wood, so did not leave an open, inviting impression for me - matter of taste. The girls that sit at the door that leads to the courtyard, stand up every time a guest passes - I felt guilty using the door; in my view a smile/nod or greeting would be sufficient.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Pool staff, young adults who were very professional and a credit to the hotel. Pool lovely with good sunbeds, great pool bar. Restaurant good food, sky bar view very amazing. Rooms big and clean. Had a full body oil massage which was very good. Good location.

Beds slightly firm, however did sleep ok.

The breakfast we great -- there was plenty of food -- the pool area was also nice -- nothing beats having a cold drink around teh pol after a hard day sightseeing :) the room was well maintained and very clean the staff were very helpful the entrance was rather imposing but once you get over this eveything was great

i suppose the hotel is on the other side of the river away from the main resturant area of Battambang howvere you can get their quickly and cheaply via tuk-tuk

The facilities are well maintained and everything is very clean. The room is spaceous and the pool area is pretty as well, perfect to escape the noon-heat. Breakfast is also great and the wifi is very good. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Only two pretty small elevators for quite many people, I imagine that would get annoying if the Hotel is fully booked. The pool is a bit warm, but nice and clean.
