Great hotel. Booked here for one night in double room, the hotel kindly upgraded me to king suite which was gorgeous. The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. The room itself was spacious, clean and had soaps, water, and robes provided. Also flip flops. Full bath. Safety deposit box. The bed is extremely comfy, best night sleep I had in ages. Don’t let reviews about noise put you off, we slept well. The staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a pool on the ground floor as well as a smaller pool upstairs on the rooftop, can eat and drink here. Food is lovely and reasonably priced for Phnom Penh. Great level to watch the sunset over the city. The location is good, situated just a stone throw from Basaac Lane and Basaac Street which has an abundance of small bars and restaurants to suit all. I would recommend a stay here if in Phnom Penh.

You can’t beat the location. Jasmine at the front desk was always smiling and helpful. Don’t pass up the pandan tea on offer when you check in. Highly recommend the Women’s Khmer Food restaurant about 5m from the hotel door.

Street and elevator noise was the smallest of issues. Easily resolved with earplugs.

Great location. Staff are 100%. Buffet breakfast was good. Allowed us to store bags until we headed to the airport at 1700hrs. Even let us shower beforehand. Class act 👍👍

Single slow lift always being used by staff. Noisy on Friday and Saturday night due to proximity to Bassac Lane. Bathroom with bath (King room) but without separate shower annoying as water goes everywhere. Rooftop pool furniture is very dirty and tatty.

Mettavary exceeded our expectations. The room was lovely with a great view, especially from the bathtub! The rooftop pool is the highlight. Having a fruit platter, cripsy mushrooms, and cocktails in the pool was a very luxurious experience. Location is basically on the Bassac Square, with is a few cute laneways of trendy restaurants.

Great location off Bassac Street, the comfiest bed we’ve had whilst being away and huge bathroom! Really delicious buffet breakfast and on-site restaurant, although we didn’t eat here. Very friendly & welcoming staff, who even arranged a takeaway breakfast for us as we were departing at 6am. Very kind of them.

The small gym was very hot and the equipment could do with a revamp! I think they had a bug infestation whilst we were there as there was a sign about a planned fumigation the day we left in the elevator - we saw a couple of cockroaches in our room, but we’ve seen this in many places we’ve stayed during our travels so it didn’t bother us too much. We just trapped them under a glass!

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size. We enjoyed the rooftop and ground floor pools, and the drinks were a good price. The location was great for walking to many bars and restaurants, and also the starting point of our walking tour was 5 minutes away! The staff were amazing; so friendly and accommodating and had lots of advice for us!

Our bathroom flooded on the first night and it took almost an hour for someone to come and fix it. So maybe just a little more attention to cleaning out the drains if the plumbing is old.

The hotel is in a great location, close to all important places, right above restaurants and shops in a cozy, quiet (as for Phnom penh) area. I truly recommend this area vs more 'in the middle of Phnom penh', as it's much nicer to go out from the hotel even to grab a tuktuk in here, rather than right to a busy, noisy street. It seems to be 'upscale' neighborhood. Bar on the roof is a perfect place to catch some sun or relax after a long day, good cocktails. The room is comfortable and clean.

Lack of vegetarian options in the restaurant and difficulty communicating with the staff (to possibly adjust food as I'm used to do in restaurants in Cambodia), makes the experience of eating dinner on a rooftop with a great view of the city stressful and unpleasant. The bed - even though we asked for a double bed, we got room with two separate mattresses connected, but in a way it was impossible to sleep near to the middle of the bed.

The staff are a delight. Super helpful and friendly. My room was fabulous. Rm 801 is a luxury suite with a big bath in the bathroom. Great aircon and comfy bed. Breakfast is great value. The kitchen will make your eggs quickly and a choice of western,Khmer, fruit and Asian choices. The Fish Amok was excellent and the Khmer women’s kitchen across the road was fabulous. Oh and the rooftop is incredibly relaxing.

The hot water takes a while to warm up and a slow lift. It meant that I took the stairs which wasn’t a bad thing!

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The staff were super kind and the room was spacious. I loved the huge tub and the amenities like Mama noodles and coffee. Bright and airy room.

The location is great for those wishing to hit the bars and restaurants of Bassac Street, but for me (since I had an event early the next day) the noise from the bars was a bit loud. But that isn't the hotel's fault; it's just right in the middle of the action!
