A petty detail but for an international hotel the Caesar salad was a big thumbs down! The ladder to get in and out of the pool was difficult to manage ( I’m post knee surgery) and could be a a hindrance to some people. The bathroom has louvre doors which do not facilitate a lot of privacy for friends sharing a room and bathroom lacking decent

My wife and I visited the Raffles Hotel Le Royal for our honeymoon travels in Cambodia. The hotel, built in the French colonial style, boasts a uniquely charming atmosphere which is full of history and character. The staff were always friendly and took time to understand our needs. As we are vegetarian, the food and beverage team created a bespoke cooking class menu and afternoon tea menu for us. Our stay in Phnom Penh was made even more special by booking this hotel, if you are interested in a hotel which offers history and luxury, Le Royal is a property unlike no other. We hope to visit again.

If anytime in Cambodia, Raffles Hotel Le Royal is the place! Outstanding heritage architecture, outstanding staff, outstanding room and facilities, exceptional views in any direction, impeccable cleanliness and 24-hour organisation to keep you feel at home, satisfied and blissful. Locationwise, it is in the heart of Phnom Penh, yet in the safest possible area (very close - walking distance - to the US Embassy). Sightseeing and moving around the city can be flawlessly handled and suggested by extremely polite and smiling knowledgeable personnel. Yet, The Royal Palce, The National Museum, and other sites of interest are within walking distance, if one would prefer that! Restaurant, Bar, Pool Bar (there are two swimming pools), and room service provide first-class food and beverages. Ask anything, they have it!

This is the most exquisite hotel. Like all Raffles hotels, you really do feel as though you are staying in a little piece of history - you will see photos of Jackie Kennedy during her stay and the colonial feel to the building and decor is stunning. Hotel Royal is impeccable - the entrance is breath-taking, grounds beautiful, spa tranquil and the bedrooms totally blissful. The Elephant Bar is also a delightful place to spend an evening and drink of delicious cocktail accompanied by the piano. The details Raffles puts into your stay make the world of difference and the staff are helpful, friendly and charming. What a treat of a place to stay.

Dear Ms Lyons, dear staff, First of all from the bottom of my hart; thank you so much for what you all have done for us after my hospitalisation. This absolute high class hotel brings you 100 years back in time but with all the luxury they can suply to feel like a King and his Queen in the Royal Raffles Hotel. Never would have thought to find such a place in the middle of Phnom Peng. The breakfast is fantastic, the pool is an oase of peace and rest, the room was so satisfying, and the staff... never met such a staff who will allways greet you with a  sincere smile, ask you if you´re alright and if they can do anything to help you make feel ROYAL.🤴👸 Best regards, P&S

The hotel is stunning, the service exceptional, the food was divine, the pick up service from the airport was awesome - I can’t fault the hotel at all The personalised welcome in the room, messages from each of the team welcoming us and placed in a frame was unique and we loved it! If I return to Phnom Penh I will absolutely stay there again.

I had booked a one bed suite with balcony for 3 of us and was offered an upgrade for $450 which I took - I presumed the 2 bedroom would also have a balcony and it didn’t, this should have been communicated to me when I was offered the upgrade. This was very disappointing for me because being able to sit on the balcony and take in the environment of the country I’m holidaying in is a big part of my experiences around the world This is the only reason I am giving the hotel an 8 - this alone made my stay less enjoyable. Everything else was fabulous!

Luch Kong the manager was phenomenal. We needed to go to a local clinic to get stiches and he made our checkin effortless. He made the appointment, met us at the entrance, checked us in quickly and got us a tuk tuk to the clinic. Throughout our stay he checked in on us eventhhough it was his day off. The hotel itself is beautiful and timeless. It has old time French Cambodian architecture with beautiful classic finishes. The pool area is divine. I swam there every day. The restaurants are really great. We would definitely return to this hotel without hesitation anytime we are in Phnom Penh.

Had a lovely stay at Raffles PHP The service was outstanding and attentive in the way that makes you feel genuinely recognised. The staff remembered my name and always greeted me warmly and created a sense of familiarity and comfort. The atmosphere throughout the hotel and in each interaction I had with all staff felt warm and inviting. I stayed in one of the Personality Suites and it was very charming. It had a distinct colonial feel, which added character and a sense of history to the space. The high-end toiletries were a nice touch, as was the responsiveness of the concierge, who handled my odd requests with ease most of the time. The location is also excellent, close to key sites and with easy access to tuk-tuks right outside the hotel.

The dining experience feels like a missed opportunity. While breakfast plus all the restaurants were perfectly adequate there were no dining options which wowed me.

Hotel is designed nicely with services such as good all day dining menu, nice pool etc. Staff in Le Phnom restaurant very friendly. Carol concert over xmas was a nice touch.

I was surprised to see children were allowed in the Elephant bar - screaming and behaving very badly. This meant it was not possible to use or enjoy. There were also children playing games around the adult pool. I was expecting a really special experience at the hotel but I felt more welcomed at the Raffles Angkor Wat hotel if I am honest. It was a nice experience but on par with other nice hotels - this was meant to be a luxurious treat but it didn’t feel like that at times.

This hotel is an oasis in the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penn. A truly elegant hotel that oozes class and sophistication without being pretentious. The Elephant Bar, Dining Room were excellent with the breakfast room stealing the show. We absolutely loved it. The swimming pool was idyllic with comfortable loungers and loved the extra touch of your own lotions and creams at each bed. Rooms were spacious and well equipped with at our request a balcony over looking the city. We will most definitely return some day!
