Nice accommodation. A small hotel in such an old style. The equipment is a bit shabby, but still functional. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location. Right next to the market and the river promenade and a short walk to the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom. I recommend a room with a balcony!

Just minor things, I guess. The bathroom only had a small bar of soap, one sachet of hair shampoo and the rest of a roll of toilet paper. The sink was slightly detached from the wall and the crack in the bathtub was covered with duct tape.

The Local Riverside Guest House/ Dot grill is an incredible location next to riverside in the heart of Phnom Penh City. The Owner Dot is so welcoming, friendly and kind. He and his staff are some of the nicest people I have met on my trip so far. They have an excellent selection of Khmer and western food all made by them fresh from the market. The place is clean, room and bed was comfortable and affordable. I would recommend anyone staying in the city to stay here I walked in not knowing what to expect and I have walked out with friends. Thank you Dot and the team you are the best! 🙏

I stayed in the Local riverside during Khmer new year and it was great. It’s close to everything and still calm if you just want to chill. The beds in the dormitory are big but you can also have a private room if you prefer. The must is Yat the owner and the others staff members like Nana who are very nice and welcome you as a friend. Also the food is very good. I definitely recommend to stay there.

they don't have breakfast included, but the hostel is also a bar and restaurant, so you have plenty of options for that. Location is excellent, couldn't be better. great value for money and a huge plus is that you can pay with card!

the beds are usual for the region, but not for my back. Really hard mattresses and also; the toilet situation for the dorm is not the best, but you'll get by

There is a retaurant downstairs so food not a problem and very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

The aircon is sometimes not switched on but if you ask theres no problem.

Fantastic place to stay, especially considering the price and the location. Had a great double room with ensuite. Air-conditioning was great and also there was a fan in the room also. Nice balcony to sit and relax in whilst drinking coffee. Able to come and go as you please, with the peace of mind of knowing that the doors are locked after late. This was not a problem as there was always member of staff available to let you out or in if you were leaving or returning late. Owner was really nice and very helpful with regards to places to visit etc. Would definitely stay again!

Really a great place to stay. Staff is super nice and friendly! Serving great food and drinks. Nice place very close to the river, to restaurants and bars. Stayed in private room, was very comfortable. Really recommended to stay here!
