The staff were incredibly helpful and receptive to any questions. The breakfast was bonkers, severed in a high-end Cambodian restaurant within the hotel. Amazing food and I can't believe it was included in the price of the room. The room was massive, overlooked both the river and the temple and had a lovely balcony. Le Moon rooftop bar did great food and was a lovely place to hang in the evening to avoid the madness that is Phnom Penh. It's in a brilliant location.

I don't have any criticism of the hotel, it was great. I do have 1 piece of advice though. If like me you wear socks and immediately remove your shoes when entering your room, take your socks off too. The floors are smooth and so well polished that wearing socks makes you look like Bambi taking his first steps.

Everything. From the large suite with well appointed bathroom with walk 🚶 in shower and bath. With stunning views. Large bed. Loads of storage space for clothes. And all kept very clean by the excellent staff. Excellent rooftop bar with stunning views and lovely food and cocktails 🍸 The restaurant on the ground floor was also fantastic. And finally you’re walking distance to the many varied bars and restaurants that cater for everyone’s tastes and desires.

Nothing to not like

The hotel has nice rooms although the colonial style gives it an older look than it probably is. The layout of the panoramic room isn't that convenient as it adds a long small corridor to the room, which is mostly wasted space. The room was comfortable with a nice couch and balcony. The bathroom was clean with a good shower that heated up quite quickly. The airco needs some time to work, but cools the room effectively. The fan above the bed is a nice touch. The staff was friendly enough and helpful. The skybar on the roof is nice, but can get crowded, you might need a reservation if you want a spot. The serve nice food and good drinks.

The noise from the busy road outside is a downside. It didn't bother me that much apart from the occasional loud honk or vendor. The hotel could do better in soundproofing as the windows are single glass. The patio doors are a bit finicky to close. The bed is also a little too hard, even for me while I actually like a firm bed. Pillows are good though.

I stayed very basic room in the hotel, but still it has great view with the pagoda in right side and the river in left side. The room was big enough and the bed was so cozy.

When using the balcony, I kept the large window leading to it closed to prevent mosquitoes from coming in. However, the window kept opening unless it was locked, and the locking mechanism seemed to be accessible only from the inside the room. And my room was on the same floor as the entrance and directly below the rooftop bar. During the evening, I could often hear thumping sounds or the noise of furniture being moved from above, which was a bit distracting, although there was no music or chatter from people.

The building is very nice, and everything is in great condition and functioning well. The staff are wonderful and highly accommodating. Most importantly, comfortable bed and I did not see any critters. Very clean. This is my second stay in three weeks while visiting Cambodia. After checking in and exploring the area, I recognized other properties I had considered during my hotel search and realized that my choice to stay at Amanjaya was excellent due to its wonderful location. There is a two-level Sky bar with great food. I also visited the fine dining at Sombok restaurant downstairs. Many come to visit both when staying somewhere else. I look forward to visiting again!

No pool or breakfast for the price you may find at other properties but the

Well furnished room. Comfortable bed, good shower/ bath. The view of the riverside from the balcony was beautiful! Restaurant staff are particularly well trained. The location of the hotel is perfect for tourists. Walking distance to museum, palace, 7/11, restaurants.

Nobody helped us with luggage either during check-in or check-out. Although we didn't face any problem, it's not natural for an establishment of this stature to not do that. The housekeeping of the bathroom can be improved, including settled dust on the wooden doors of the cubicles. We didn't really like the free breakfast. Most options were lunch/ dinner type, and taste wise also it didn't suit us. But we had dinner at the restaurant one night, and that was great!

The location is absolutely perfect right in the heart of Phnom Penh at the riverside.Inspite of the loud traffic from Sisowath Boulevard and the rooftop bar, there are no problems sleeping: Sound protection is good. The receptionists are all competent, friendly and helpful. Absolutely outstanding is Tamron. Room cleaning is excellent and Pia does the best job ever. The restaurant does very good food and is by far the best on the riverside.

The beds are a bit hard.

The suites. We stayed in a corner unit which accorded us with the views of the town and the river. The suite is super specious. The bathroom is super big with separate toilet and shower. There is a bathtub too! The location perfectly suits out plan. The staffs are very polite and helpful. This is the only hotel we will stay when we visit Phnom Penh again and that will be in November.

We noticed some mosquitoes. Probably because there are live plants in the suite.

We stayed at Amanjaya Pancam in 2023 and loved it so much we went back this year. The location is fabulous (very near to the river, markets and palace), the rooms clean, very comfortable and large but most importantly all the staff are fantastic - very friendly, polite and extremely welcoming. Can’t wait to go back again! It’s not the poshest hotel we’ve stayed in but it’s certainly one of the best! The Rooftop bar has an excellent vibe and good food and Sombok restaurant serves delicious food at the highest quality.

We had stayed here previously, 12 nights earlier. When we walked into reception, we were greeted by the lovely lady on reception who had remembered us from our previous visit. She had given us the same room, too, which was wonderful. There was also a welcome back note in our room. Lovely touch. The room was spacious, well decorated, aircon, and a balcony. The bathroom is great, with a separate bath and shower cubicle. The hotel also has a rooftop bar, with great views and a lovely atmosphere, well worth a visit. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating.
