Excellent central location, less than 2 blocks west of the river and east of the national museum, about 6 blocks south of the central downtown area and north of the royal palace. Room was sufficient (nothing more nor less) but spacious. Ground-floor restaurant wasn't fancy, but the host, David, is a good man who seriously cares for his guests. And the desk can make all travel arrangements, including onward bus travel.

My first night, I was on the fourth floor -- that's 91 steps. Yes, I counted. And the lights didn't work properly. When I told the night clerk, he snidely said: "What do you expect for this price?" UGH. Luckily the next day I was able to change to a room on the second floor, and I remained there for the balance of my (6-night) stay. They cleaned every couple of days, or on my request.

I really liked this place apart from a couple of things. This place reminded me so much about the good old south east Asia travels backpackers places you used to find everywhere back in the days. Basic budget rooms, English speaking friendly helpful staff, transport tickets, laundry and a travellers cafe serving the basic, simple but good food, inside or on a few rickety tables outside. Cheap beers, ok WiFi most of the time. I liked that they took payment through Booking.com. The location is superb right across from the Royal Palace and close to the 'travellers food street '.

Biting ants and some mosquitos get into the room, possibly through the air vent, as windows and doors seemed well sealed off. Some bug spray would have done the trick. Also, somebody should tell the people who do the laundry to put some bleach in with the water, so towels and linen looked white! Everything was clearly clean though, but far from white anymore. The rooms don't look anything like the photos, which isn't a problem for me. Everything worked, but I had to put the Aircon on dry mode to adjust the temperature, the cooling mode was fixed on 16 degrees.

I am a regular guest at this small family guesthouse for years. They are very friendly and welcoming. It is centrally located in Phnom Penh and close to pretty much everything around. It is a budget hotel, with wear and tear here and there, there is not too much to expect in terms of fanciness. But the rooms are very clean, there is hot water in the shower, the air condition works fine and the free WiFi is fast. They have a restaurant on the ground floor where they provide a large choice for breakfast which was good. I will definitely return.

Everything. It's in an excellent location too. We lost a bag during our journey to the hotel. At the time we thought we left it at reception when we checked in and we annoyed staff so much asking to see the CCTV and if they found it yet. They handled everything so gracefully and later the tuk tuk man contacted us to say he had it and it wasn't at the hotel at all. We are very sorry for annoying you and thank you for being nice about everything.

I have to say that when some one makes an effort to give an idea as to how good a hotel is... then, sure all the usuals come into play, cleanliness, location, comfort, price etcetera etcetera......but the top test of any hotel in my book is the staff......they treat you like a member of their family and nothing is too much and for that alone...this centrally located gem In the heart of Phnom Penh truly deserves 5* ++....👍👑

Stayed here many times and the reason for this is. Large comfortable rooms with hot and cold water. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. Location is close to all your needs. Ground floor is a restaurant serving excellent food at a very reasonable price Staff friendly and helpful. For the price excellent value. Well done Golden Noura Villa 👍

I have stayed here many times and the reason for this is. Great location. Close to all your needs. Fantastic value for the money. The rooms are spacious with hot and cold water shower. Beds are comfortable with clean sheets. On the ground floor there is a restaurant serving excellent food at a very good rate. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well done Golden Noura. 👍

Nothing to dislike.

Very close to markets and shops + right across from royal palace, we arrived a little early for checking in and the manager allowed us to check in anyway which was a massive help.

We had a few cockroaches come into the room during the night which kinda freaked us out but didn’t affect overall stay

Perfect guesthouse, on Riverside at 178 street...a fantastic location with lots going on...markets royal Palace, Museum, shops , bars - & restaurants. Very friendly management & staff who are always willing to help..all in all a fantastic choice for Phnom Penh and the price is unbelievable.
