Really nice and helpful staff. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was really outstanding with a lot of variety of freshly cooked Cambodian food, fruits and typical European breakfast. I really enjoyed the stay!

Unfortunately the air-condition didn't work, so it was just like a fan and very warm at night.

Silver Mounts Hotel was a great choice for our stay in Phnom Penh! We arrived late at night and were warmly welcomed by Pitor and MengAh, who were always smiling, pleasant, and super helpful with recommendations on what to see and do. During the day, Malis was just as amazing—she really went out of her way to make sure everything was comfortable for us. The hotel is on a narrow street packed with places to eat (both Western and Cambodian), grab a drink at a bar, or get a massage. At night, the street comes alive with food carts, making it perfect for late-night snacks. There’s even a little outdoor seating area where you can people-watch and enjoy street food—such a chill and relaxed vibe. Surprisingly the rooms are super quiet despite the hotel location on a busy street. The rooms were comfortable and clean, great for a short stay, but we also met several repeat expat guests who were staying long-term. Breakfast was solid, with a good mix of Cambodian and Western options to start the day right. Plus, the location is super convenient—you can walk to nearby sightseeing spots or hop on a tuk-tuk anytime. Walk along the Sisowath Quay and the night market is a must do and only a short walk from the hotel. Overall, a great spot with friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. Would definitely stay again! 😊

The unfriendly female receptionist didn't accept our absolutely clean $100 note because of a 2 mm wrinkle. Never had that in 30 years.

Silver mounts hotel was a pleasant surprise - old world charm with modern applications. Our room was sufficient for a short stay, clean and very comfortable. The bed was unbelievably comfortable! Bathroom was clean and functionimg. Lift available for upper level rooms *big smile* The breakfast was lovely - standard but done well. The staff are warm and very helpful. We loved sitting out front of hotel on the lounges provided for guests - great street for watching life go by. Great location for food etc and easy walk to river front and palace. Wonderful place to stay. I'll be back!

Nothing to really dislike

The hotel and staff were excellent. When traveling to and from the hotel they organized taxis. There are many restaurants in the street with nice food and one or two girlie bars. Mostly if you are looking for somewhere to relax for a beer or wine you will not get hassled.

There is a new construction in progress next door. When you book a room, make sure you have a high room and on the river side of the hotel and preferable in the rear. Unfortunately the property across the road partied most nights, nearly all night. Be prepared to get constant hassle from the Tuk Tuk drivers.

This hotel provides fairly good rooms at a reasonable price. Double beds provide a comfortable night's sleep. Furnishings and amenities include a refrigerator, TV, a desk, two bedside cabinets and a large wardrobe (all wooden) as well as coffee table and lounge chairs. Power activated by room card. The premises offers breakfast. There's a single elevator for access and stairwell.

Breakfast includes coffee, however it isn't the best. The pancakes are good. The elevator is especially sluggish and it's often faster to descend all 5 floors via stairs. The hot water system required recalibration, at least in the room I was allocated (512). Water temperature for the wash basin had two states; Super hot or cold, no in between. The shower water even at a maximum hot setting was barely warm.

I liked everything about the hotel, great location easy to travel for sightseeing ,room and location very good. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone The staff were very professional.

Maybe the breakfast

The room was a good size. The breakfast was excellent. Certainly better than most you get for the price we paid. The location was very good. It was walking distance to the museum, royal palace and the river. Lots of convenient stores and restaurants nearby. Very easy to get a tuk tuk just out the door. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. At the back of the eating area they had drinking water available from a dispenser. They have an elevator.

The shower was cold. I'm not sure why because the water in the sink was very hot. They provide a shuttle to the airport but it was a little expensive. I had stayed at another place at the beginning of my trip and used their shuttle for cheaper. Ended up just getting a GRAB Tuk Tuk for $5 US

Although the hotel is a bit old, my room was really perfect for my needs. It was quiet, despite being on a busy street, because I had a room at the back of the hotel. Everything in the room worked. The location was very central, the staff was nice and helpful, and the price was good. All in all, I liked this hotel very much and I would gladly stay there again.

As the hotel is old, they are renovating it now, so there can be construction noise on some afternoons.

I stay at this hotel regularly because its clean and comfortable rooms with good aircon and access to a lift are a welcoming relief to the sweltering heat as well as being central to everything riverside. Staff are really polite and helpful at reception. Very spacious foyer/reception area and they always oblige with luggage storage if you are touring. Clean and modern dining area for breakfast. Many restaurants and convenience stores on the street. There are a few 'lady bars' on the street and their patrons may make use of the hotel if you are sensitive to that kind of exposure but otherwise it won't interfere with your stay here. I recommend the standard rooms as opposed to the deluxe as the latter are situated over the street which can have a little more noise exposure.
