* great location - many attractions are within walking distance * the interieur - almost every wall is covered in wood, floors a wooden, the furniture is made from wood. I've stayed at many soulless hotels in SEA over the years, but this is none of them * the pool and the view from the rooftop * very helpful and attentive staff

* the lobby looks a bit cramped which gives a bit of a false impression when you arrive * while parts of the furniture have gotten a bit long in the tooth, it is nothing to complain about, IMHO. It just adds to the atmosphere and - given the location and the overall cost/performance ratio - is neglectable.

I have stayed at this hotel before and believe me, The Hotel Lobby is out of this world,, 🌎. People come just to see the Lobby And the outside 😲😲😲.The Bedroom's Are big (mine was😂😂)shower 🚿 to die for,,and also a rain shower to. The Breakfast Buffet is also Excellent a very wide choose.on the 15 floor with Fantastic views,, On the 14,floor is the swimming pool 😲 wow 3 side of the pool pans the city 🏙️🌆🏙️🌆 one side looks over the Royal Place and the River beyond. The Restaurant is on the 14, floor,,,you can order and sit round the pool if you choose to....ALL IN ALL I LOVE THIS HOTEL..

I stayed here for the second time, because i like it so much! What a great entrance and lobby the hotel has! Very authentic Khmer style. Also the room is very nicely decorated and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows and wonderful view over the museum and riverside from the large balcony. Location is great, walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, etc. I had a very pleasant stay.

I booked a 45m suite. At checkin they gave me a smaller 35m premium room, telling me it was a suite as well. As i stayed in a suite before, i knew a suite was much bigger. After contacting reservations, the next day i could eventually move to what i booked for. All solved in a friendly decent way, but make sure you get what you booked for. At the end you dont want to spent time on these kind of things.

Ok I’m kind of cheating because this booking was contiguous with a previous one which I also reviewed, but you really should stay at this hotel. The staff made us feel so welcome and the GM is the hardest working guy in PP. There is a house tuktuk that will take you anywhere you want to go safely. There is an awesome minimart across the alley and a protected ATM right next to the hotel. If you are a first time visitor they have everything required to get you up to speed. We’ll be back in a week!

The hotel is beautiful, as are the rooms, I traveled with my sons and we had three different rooms due to the price as well as having our independence. The staff did everything possible for our stay to be comfortable. The pool is on the top floor and is nice,.

Both one of my son's and I had a massage, we were on time, but the girl that gave a massage was 20 minutes late, and she ended 20 minutes early. I complained about it and the lady in charge, not speaking Spanish nor English nor sign language only said "oh well with her hands" I went down to reception and they said that they would check on it and get back to me. (The outcome of it, was that they deducted the price of the hotel)

Outstanding. The decor is so traditionally cambodian probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in, the view from the swimming pool that is actually on the 15th floor is fabulous, the breakfast buffet runs to about 10 different courses and is presented perfectly, the staff are the most attentive we'v ever met, there was not one member of staff that didn't meet us with a smile, we will be back for this coming new-year. We also ate evening meal several times in our room the food menu and service was faultless, the whole hotel was spotless, see you for new year kind regards Geoff and jacqui S

We should have booked to stay longer

Traditional architecture and furniture - looks amazing . Staff very helpful.

First room we had didn’t have any windows, rather musty . Second room was lovely Breakfast was rather disorganised because of number of guests coming at same time

The hotel was a total gem, from the grand entrance to the rooms to the rooftop pool with a great view of the city! Great value for the price and I also noticed that it was very family friendly. I will definitely stay next time I'm back in town! It's super easily accessible if you want to walk around to the find food, sightsee and grab is always within 30 secs- 1 min away if you need to cover more distance.

Don't be turned off by the piles of trash that build up throughout the day near the entrance to the alley where the hotel is located. After you pass that, you have just a VERY short walk and you'll be surprised in a good way by the beautiful hotel entrance and lobby. It is filled with beautiful statues and woodwork, making you feel like you're in a mini gallery! Overall, everything in the hotel's control was great!

The views across Phnon Penh from the bar and pool area - 14th floor - were outstanding: uninterrupted views of National museum, Royal Palace and the mighty Mekong. Excellent buffet breakfast in excellent breakfast area - also with great views. The hotel is wood panelled throughout with many intricate carvings of cultural interest. The lobby is beautiful. Room spacious and comfortable, also with a small balcony with views.

The wifi in my room - 5th floor - was a little bit sketchy but no real issue. A very minor point, baked beans were a small part of the buffet breakfast - I love beans - but were marginally warmer than cold every day.

It is just as quirky and ornate as the pictures The pool was such a cool place to chill and cool down The staff friendly Rooms are big and we had a balcony

The only thing that didn’t go to plan was breakfast- I am vegan and they didn’t have anything I could eat as they cook butter or milk or in fish sauce, oyster sauce and mix meat in with the vegetables apart so apart from fruit and dry bread /cereal there was no other choice for me. I had to go buy vegan products soya milk, spreads, cheese etc Plus I ordered vegetable soup half way through I had chicken in there… and they didn’t label any of the foods with if they had meat or allergens in the there so was pot luck if had ‘ fried potatoes’ labelled they could be mixed with bacon or hotdogs or other fish or meats
