This is one. Of the best places I have ever stayed! From arrival the staff were amazing- so friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were huge, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything you might need is provided and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. I used the pool and had a wonderful massage. I had a delicious breakfast every day and some evening meals. water is always available. The location is great- on the road to Angkor Wat but only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to town. They have their own transport waiting outside and it's only $1. They will advise and organize any trips you want direct from the hotel at good prices.

Bayon Modern Residence in Siem Reap turned out to be a hidden gem that I'm so glad to have discovered. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in an enchanting experience. The ambiance of this hotel is simply captivating. The blend of Khmer architecture and contemporary design creates an inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The well-maintained gardens and the serene pool area provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind. My room was a haven of comfort. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, showcasing the local artistry and culture. The bed was a dream to sleep on after a day of exploring the temples. The thoughtful amenities were a nice touch that enhanced my stay. The standout feature of Bayon Modern Residence, however, was the exceptional service. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and attended to my every need. Whether it was arranging transportation or sharing insider tips for exploring Siem Reap, their warm hospitality was truly commendable.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds and good linen. Delicious breakfast, lovely swimming pool with leafy surroundings. Hotel staff are professional and respectful they greet you well and always acknowledge you with happiness and big smiles😄 The staff makes your stay memorable.

Traveled around the world for the last fifty years, and for the third time in Siem Reap to vist the ancient amazing temples of Angkor Wat.. I was lucky when I chose Bayon Modern Residence as my starting point for my two weeks stay. Bayon Modern Residence is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at - if not the best. Very well run by young cambodians. The location in the quiet part of Siem Reap. The lovely premises, the large room, the cozy livingroom and the nice pool area. But most importantly where the many wonderful employees. Thank you for cleaning my room, looking aften my bike at night, cooking and serving the delicious food, you all in the reception, the tuk tuk drivers. Thank you all for your helpfulness and very pleasant manner which made my stay a great pleasure.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Our experience here for 9 days has been one of our favourite & we are currently travelling around south east Asia. We are so sad to leave me and my partner and could have easily stayed another week. STAFF: Thank you so much for making our time so special. They couldn’t do enough for us. Every time we came back to the hotel from a day of exploring we were welcomed with a ‘welcome home’, they were unbelievably friendly and all so genuine. It’s so nice to see a bunch of staff all be friends and have a laugh but at the same time give out such professional service to their guests. POOL: It is well maintained and cleaned, lovely temperature to cool you down and the pool bar is always there to keep you refreshed! Pool towels are always available also for you to use and cleaned/replenished everyday ROOM: a very comfortable & pleasant stay, the bed was very comfortable. Also a big space so plenty of storage space if you’ve brought a lot of stuff! We had a big bath in the room which was great & the bathroom is so big it’s like a wet room! BREAKFAST: Great selection of food to cater for lots of different tastes! Pancakes, croissants, various types of bread, fruit, toasties. They have an egg station also if you fancied a fried egg or omelette. Juices & coffee also available. Transport: The tuk tuk drivers outside the hotel are always available to take you wherever you want, from the hotel to the town centre it is generally $2 a time. However I advise you tip as they’re so friendly and deserve it. The town centre is about a 5 min drive on the tuk tuk so great location to be. It is also about 15 mins away from the airport. Would recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Siem Reap, you would not regret it. We will be back!

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. They arranged our airport pick (very comfortable because we did not share with other travelers) and tours. I was most impressed with the pool for swimming every morning. Our room was large and clean and the balcony and view were great. I highly recommend staying there!!!

We had an excellent breakfast every day. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. I can't say enough about how helpful and accommodating the staff were. In fact, when we were departing the staff came to meet us for a group photo. including the manager. The staff helped to arrange for transportation for us and places to go visit. What a wonderful atmosphere. This could easily be a 10+.

The pool is not heated and the coffee was very strong.

My 4 night stay at Bayon Modern with my young kids was excellent. Our family room was large, airy and bright. Staff were exceptional - the front desk helped organise our day tours as per my customised requests and even organised early (5am) breakfasts to take away for our sunrise tour to Angkor Wat and our early flight. We enjoyed the pool after a day outdoors in the heat. Breakfast has good variety. Location is excellent and just a short tuk tuk ride away from main attractions, including pub street, the circus and good restaurants. Overall, we had a superb experience at Bayon Modern.

I'd recommend providing conditioner and body lotion in the rooms. But really, nothing to complain about.
