The staff were excellent - genuinely welcoming and very helpful. And they decorated our initial room and bathroom beautifully for our honeymoon - thank you so much🥰 We stayed in 2 different types of rooms - both were very comfortable. The first had a nice view of the pool but was on the third floor with no lift. As I am not good with stairs, the hotel graciously offered a change of room to a garden view FOC. However, we opted to upgrade to a room with a terrace facing the pool. Breakfast was good either as buffet or chosen from the menu. The breakfast staff were so lovely. And the hotel provided an enjoyable breakfast-box for our sunrise tour to Angkor Wat. The hotel reception staff were so lovely too - genuinely pleased we stayed at their hotel and always keen to help and to advise on and arrange visits/tours for us. Housekeeping also looked after us very well. The location is a little out of the centre. However, it's only a $1.25 (June 2025) tuk-tuk ride into town. There are a few local vendors/food stalls immediately outside the hotel, with a local mini mart 20m where the owner was so genuinely happy that we supported her business.

Unfortunately, having stayed at Elysium Suite at its previous location (pre-covid), I was a little disappointed - the current hotel is not quite to the same standard as the previous one. Nevertheless, it is still a pleasant hotel with genuinely helpful and lovely staff.

My 3 night stay at Elysium was really pleasant. All the staff were very courteous and were able to accommodate my requirements for vegetarian food from the in house restaurant as well as for a tuk-tuk to the night market on day of arrival. The property has adequate space and the rooms are of decent size and as per what is shown in the pictures. The pool in the property was very tempting although didnt get to use it due to my long day trips. The lighting and bathroom are excellent in the room including the bedding and WIFI connection. The morning breakfast options are plentiful which is much required considering the long day tours ahead. All in all, a value for money property.

Possibly the location since it's not exactly in the centre of Siem Reap, the tuk-tuk ride although is only 10 mins which makes up for it. Also for vegetarians, the food options in the restaurant are limited although the staff are flexible to make changes in the food to suit vegetarians.

Pros: Amazing staff - Jessie and Nana are the best and they make you feel at home. Our kids loved them and they had tears in their eyes on our way to the airport. Thank you for taking such great care of our family! Very clean and large rooms, good soundproofing (we stayed for almost 2 weeks and it was very quiet) Clean and refreshing pool with a kids pool as well Decent breakfast served early enough to be able to have an early start of the day Location - it is not in the city centre but using Grab or Passapp is very easy and extremely cheap, a tuk tuk taking you in about 5 minutes straight in the middle of the touristic area Cons: Nothing that comes to mind

We enjoyed our stay at Elysium suite hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Numerous TV channels, quiet AC and reliable wifi. Comfortable beds, clean linens and exceptional housekeeping. The breakfast was very varied, and even the takeaway breakfast they provided to us on the last day was far beyond what most hotels provide. Staff were excellent and pool was perfect. It is a fair distance from the town but tuktuks are available..We have stayed at numerous hotels in siem reap over the last 10 years and this is one of the best.

Breakfast was simple but great. We booked five rooms. All were sparking clean but one was left with an unwashed towel and a glass that frightened my friends who stayed in that room. We called the hotel and got this room re-cleaned including changing the bedsheet before we returned from dinner. Otherwise, everything in the rooms were good and everyone liked the beds. We stayed only a nite so didn't get to use the pool. The staff service was excellent upon our arrival especially staff Honey.

The rooms are very spacious, bright and clean. Note there is no elevator so if you’re on the third floor you need to take the stairs. Also the TV doesn’t work - they haven’t hooked them up to cable. The breakfast was good, you order from a menu with nice choices. The staff are very friendly and the cleaning staff did a great job cleaning the room.

The hotel is further out from Pub street (I liked the location but for others visiting it might be a bit far). Sometimes difficult to get a Passapp because of the location. I did have to move rooms because of a leak in the roof due to lots of rain.

We had a wonderful stay at Elysium! The swimming pool was great, with enough loungers and fresh beach towels always available. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Good breakfast with enough food choice. We had a packed breakfast provided on the day when we went to see the sunrise at Ankor Wat. We loved our spacious, fully equipped room right next to the pool—it was perfect for relaxation. While the location is slightly farther from the centre, it wasn’t a problem as tuk-tuks are widely available and can be conveniently arranged at the reception ($2 on average). There’s also a charming local café right next to the hotel where you can enjoy a delicious latte.

This is a personal preference, but I found the mattress to be quite firm. Apart from that minor point, it was great.

Rating is 8 out of 10. One point is deducted because the swimming pool was dirty and made our swimming suits dirty. They had to be washed twice which was redundant worry to have on a holiday in a 4 star hotel. The 2nd point is deducted for the bar is too expensive. 5 USD for beer is way too much, especially since a can of beer costs half a dollar in the store.

I would like to emphasize that at the Elysium Suite, we experienced exceptional kindness from the staff, who go above and beyond in their politeness and in anticipating the guest’s needs. The breakfasts were very good, ample, and tasty for a family with two children. There was something for everyone. The family room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the pool. It had all the amenities we needed. The pool became a wonderful part of our day when we returned from exploring the temples in the heat around 2-3 pm. The hotel’s location is convenient, only 10-15 minutes from Pub Street. With the Grab app, everything is close by. I highly recommend this place.
