We had such a fantastic stay at Maison Leab, and we couldn't have picked a better place to spend our last 2 weeks in Cambodia. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. The hotel is a small complex with 6 rooms, which we felt was perfect, as it was quiet and peaceful. Another huge bonus is being so close to Siem Reap's main attractions, including Angkor Wat and the other temples in the area, Royal Independence Gardens, Made in Cambodia Market, and a short tuk-tuk ride to Pub Street and other Night Markets. The hotel also offers a free tuk-tuk service into town at night. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with a fantastic lounge area, super comfortable bed, large bathroom with an amazing bath, and a private balcony overlooking the pool. As we cook a lot, having a kitchen was fantastic as we could prepare most of our meals in the apartment. The fresh flowers, water, tea, and coffee are also topped up regularly, which is such a nice touch! The staff were great at offering advice and guidance on local restaurants and places of interest and arranging guided tours. We chose a sunrise Angkor Wat tour, which did not disappoint - the guide was energetic and knowledgeable, and it was the perfect introduction to Angkor Wat and its impressive history. We honestly can't recommend Maison Leab enough! Whether you're in Siem Reap to discover the temples or just to relax, this is the perfect place to stay. Thank you so much to William, Rich, and Le for making our visit so memorable and for constantly providing us with laughs, beer-drinking tips, and all-around fantastic service. That we couldn't stay longer.

Maison Leab is a lovely, serene property located north of central Siem Reap on the road to Angkor Wat. Our bedrooms had massive storage closets and large rooms with floor to ceiling windows, and really, the place was well maintained. They provided quality robes and toiletries along with much appreciated slippers. Room darkening curtains kept everything cool and dark when wanted. We were able to walk six minutes away to shop for groceries in a lovely, modern market with a large selection of western food stuffs and very reasonably priced local food. There are also two coffee shops within fifty meters, and any style of large coffee costs $1.25. William at the front desk was delightfully helpful, as were others whose names escape me now. I see no reason why we would not stay here again if we should be lucky enough to return to Siem Reap.

It would have been nice to have an oven, a larger skillet, and a chef and/ or a utility knife. I had to wait about five minutes for hot water when I took a shower at five a.m.

We immediately felt at home. William and the team are nothing short of exceptional. Their attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring that we had everything I needed without even having to ask. They truly made us feel like more then valued guests, we felt like we had friends there. The hotel itself is a beautiful blend of comfort and style, with modern amenities and a serene atmosphere that made it the perfect retreat after a busy day exploring the local sights. We appreciated the fresh fruit and coconut drinks that were available on arrival. I highly recommend Maison Leab to anyone visiting Cambodia. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Maison Leab. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (9and 11). We had a ground floor 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment which is faultless. So clean and stylish. Prior to arrival we had good communication with William, the manager. Upon arrival, William took us to our apartment and spent 20 minutes going through the room and then talking to us about local sightseeing, restaurants, etc. He marked places on a map and made a dinner booking for us, explaining to the restaurant that our daughter is anaphylactic to peanuts. We were added to a private WhatsApp group where we could make any request/ enquiries which were responded to promptly. Each time we left and arrived, someone from reception was quick to stand up and greet us. A trip into the centre of Siem Reap is provided via tuk tuk once a day when you require it and is free of charge. This place is simply awesome.

Pool water could have been warmer but that is no deterrent. There really is nothing to not like.

It felt like a 5 star hotel. Luxuriously appointed. Beautiful interior design choices. Spacious bathroom. Comfortable beds. New air conditioners. Nice lighting. Fruit on arrival. Super helpful staff with recommendations on food, assistance with resolving some travel itinerary issues, organising of airport transfer and organising tours of temples. There are some nice places to eat nearby, It is a quiet location (you don't hear the thumping music of pub st), but still very close for either a walk or tuk tuk to things you may need. We loved that they had space for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. It was a wonderful retreat after a hot day with a refreshing pool to swim in.

The overall setting is cosy and inviting, The size, furnishes and facilities of the 2 bedroom unit are perfect for our 4 nights vacation (family of four). It is close to cafes & international supermarket (just 5 mins walking), while it is just a tuktuk ride to other places in the city (we used Grab app - super convenient). But the shining stars are our hosts - William and team, who helped us arrange our temples trip amd Apsara dance +dinner, offered tips and reverted swiftly when we have queries/need support. They are attentive, kind and always smile. Kudos !

Absolutely everything! Big shout-out to the hotel manager, William, who was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. He was so friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Rick and the rest of the team were fantastic too! We were well cared for from the time of booking to check-in and up till check out. It was like staying at a Bonvoy or Hyatt but much more personable. Finer details from handmade tea, generous amount of welcome fruits, mozzie repellent, double sliding doors for noise protection etc. All these little details truly set it apart from other places at this price point. The room was large and so tastefully decorated with local art, flowers and handmade flowers. The kitchen had all the basic utensils and even olive oil, if you want to do light cooking. The rain shower was a delight and the bathtub was amazing!! The bathroom was so tastefully done that it inspired me for my own home. The location was great. It may not be located right smack in the "city centre" but it's merely a 10-15 walk away along the river under shaded trees. This also means you're able to get a quiet night since it's away from the hustle and bustle. The entire propert felt tranquil and zen - as you would hope for a city famous for its temples... Next to the hotel are a couple of local, small food stalls and coffee shops (Domo was excellent). There's also a small convenience store for basic items. We had our laundry done at the hotel at an affordable rate by weight! None of this price-by-piece nonsense - who needs dry cleaning for a holiday in Siem Reap? It's a shame that we didn't get to use the salt-pool as it had such a tranquil vibe to it. I can keep going on and on about how lovely Maison Leab was but you may think I'm exaggerating (I'm not!) You will not regret staying here.

Nothing, absolute perfection. My only disappointment was that I had to leave.

This property is an absolute gem! A tucked back oasis that made us all gasp at the beautiful serenity it offers! William who is at the front desk has thought of every detail from fresh flowers in the rooms to special handmade tea blends that address the many traveler woes. Our fridge had coconuts freshly cut and waiting to drink for all of us! He helped us navigate any problems that arose from the best places to eat with food allergies, the best places to shop for those unique gifts! This has absolutely been our favorite stay of a constantly moving three week adventure! Cambodia was supposed to be a quick pit stop in our travels and instead has become one of our favorite stops 😃

The room was beautiful, cleaned every day and complimentary tea and fruit were provided. Very spacious, 2 lovely shower rooms, super comfy beds, and a relaxing living room/kitchen area. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, arranging drivers and tuk tuks, and recommending where to go, what to see, and where to eat. A short walking distance from the centre of town, but far enough to avoid the crowds and noise. We could see the NYE fireworls from our bedroom window!

We had an exceptional stay at Maison Leab this November. Nestled in a lush green setting just steps from the city center, the location is perfect: everything is within walking distance, and the nearby river adds an unparalleled sense of tranquility. This property offers an intimate and serene atmosphere, with only a limited number of rooms that make every guest feel truly privileged. The pool is a real gem: clean and maintained through natural methods instead of chlorine, which is a real plus. The cascading waterfall, plants, and comfortable loungers with towels provided create the perfect setting for relaxation. Everything is designed with guests' comfort in mind, including a shower by the pool for more convenience. The staff were outstanding: attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist. A special mention goes to the General Manager, William, whose kindness made a lasting impression. His helpful recommendations and availability truly enhanced our stay. William is a young and promising professional who embodies the modern spirit of hospitality, an invaluable asset to the tourism industry. We also really enjoyed the apartment we stayed in: spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials. The beds were incredibly comfortable, thermal and acoustic insulation were excellent, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary fruit basket upon arrival, as well as the availability of a tuk-tuk service in the evening—a thoughtful and convenient addition. In summary, this stay was a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. A big thank you to the entire team for their dedication and professionalism. We’ll definitely be back!
