I think the location being a little walk from downtown is actually perfect. You’re removed from the hustle and bustle, but still a quick enough walk away, as well as accessible to Banff busses. And, it’s very easy to find street parking there (despite being there during peak season). The hotel is run well and the staff are excellent, they were always ready and willing to help with no fuss.

It doesn’t have a pool (just hot tub) or even small fitness center, which is fine. Spent virtually the entirety of each day out and about anyways. The bed and pillows were fine for me but for some the bed may be too firm and the pillows too thin and soft.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I booked a double-queen room. The room is big enough for 4 persons of my family. The front desk and room service is pretty good. From the window, I can see the mountain and sunrise. Althouth the hotel is little bit far from the downtown( 800meters), the bus stop is right beside the hotel which is very convinient. You can park on the street with no charge if you have Canada Park Pass. Or you can park your car in underground parking lot for $21 per day. The hot SPA is awesome. We took a hot bath every evening before sleep.

Breakfast is not as good as the hotel. Improvement or change needed.

We stayed 6 nights for a ski vacation. Had a large corner room with table and chairs. Newly renovated bathroom. Staff at front desk are amazing. We knew that parking was $20 per night for the locked underground garage which is convenient when you don't want to look for street parking every day. Ski bus stop is next door. If you don't have a car, you can lock your skis in the garage. Walking to downtown takes you 15 minutes.

Microwave is missing in the room. We bought one at Canadian Tire near the Calgary airport and dropped it at the re-use centre at the end of our stay.

Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I particularly would like to compliment Elmer who went out of his way to help us with the hotel parking and park passes to drive to Lake Louise and Banff Sunshine. While the location was not in the downtown, it was a short walk to many restaurants plus it was next to the shuttle stop. The 3 separate beds in the family room were really comfy and perfect for our group size. The room was very clean, well-appointed and updated. The hotel pizza place also was convenient and useful when the weather was bitter cold. It was a great stay and i'd recommend Banff Inn!

The photos online indicated that the bathroom was in the entry foyer; however, our bathroom was attached to the small bedroom, which meant that everyone had to walk through that sleeping area to use the bathroom. The kitchenette area in the photos had a microwave and long countertop. Instead, we had a very small counter with barely enough room for a coffeemaker and refrigerator. It would have been nice to have a microwave. I recommend uploading more photos to show the additional family room configurations.

Bedroom was beautiful- really clean and comfy. Coffee machine was excellent and bathroom great. Cleaning staff was lovely and polite- always offering to provide more towells/ coffee etc. Steam room was great! Hot tub was also good just not powerfull. Lots of places to eat near by and easy to catch bus to resorts and airport. Italian restaurant downstairs but we didn't there. Would definitely stay again - ticks all the boxes for a great stay!

Communication via booking.com was poor. I emailed many times and no response from hotel. They also took a deposit twice which meant my bank put a hold on card as this was unexpected. I think sauna was broken- didn't use in the 6 days as it didn't heat up.

No breakfast available. Why? Dined in the restaurant on our first night, asked for burgers medium rare and was told they would be cooked well done. They were foul, totally over cooked. What a mistake by the ‘chef’ who clearly has no concept of people’s preferences. Did not go back to eat there again.

Maybe the ‘chef’ could be replaced.

The hotel has great ambience. It is about a 15 min walk to the main strip. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were clean and well-maintained. Parking is $20 a night- just an FYI I rented a suite. It was nice to have a separate bedroom from the teens. There was a mini fridge, large counter area and microwave. The bathroom was modern and clean. Water pressure and heat were good. The beds have lots of fluffy pillows which made me happy. I’m a pillow snob. I will definitely book again.

In the pictures, the pool looks alot larger than it is. It is large hottub in actuality.

Spacious room, very comfortable temperature despite being -25°C outside. Staff were nice, had all I needed for my 3 day trip. I liked that there was an empty fridge in the room to put items in.

Ground floor and corner room meant it was a little noisy from outside or reception area at times, but it never lasted long and no issue later in the evening. Shower temperature a little temperamental at times. Hotel is a little far from the town compared to other properties, feels especially far in colder weather, but is still walkable and bus stop is close by

I liked the hotel overall. The location is a bit farther from downtown proper, making walking tiring when you go both ways. I did like that they have parking underground, but it is an added cost. The Roam bus does pick up and drop off nearby, so that is helpful. The room was quiet and I appreciate that.

No breakfast is included (I prefer that), and the restaurant on location is just a pizza place and not affiliated with the hotel. That is a bit of a bummer as we had to go elsewhere to get food.

It was a clean and friendly hotel. In all my years of traveling and staying in hotels this was the only one that the front desk called our room about an hour after we settled in to check in and see if the room was as expected or if we needed anything else. I also liked that there is underground parking first come first serve with a fee.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, the only draw back was the location being so far from main street to walk too. However we lucked out with great weather for the walk and enjoyed a wonderful walk to and from Banff Avenue shops and festival that weekend.
