Excellent location, hotel was clean, room was comfortable and roomy, staff were friendly.

Breakfast, choices were okay, but the area to eat in was minuscule and overcrowded. FYI The main complaint is the exorbitant price for accommodation, NOT just the Best Western but ALL of the hotels in Banff. Considering they have customers summer and winter (skiing) the prices being charged are way beyond what they should be, this really leaves a bad impression and takes away some of the pleasure visiting Banff especially tourists from abroad. Again this is not just the Best Western which is in line with other accommodations.

Our room (a double queen) was a good size and the beds were very comfy. The TV was huge and shower pressure was decent. The hotel is in a good location about 10 mins max (walking) from the centre of Banff. There is a gas station with a convenience store nearby. The car park had sufficient space and staff were helpful. It was quiet at night and I'd happily stay here again.

The hotel was in a nice quiet location. The room was very spacious with a sitting area as well and plenty of space for the suitcases. The staff were great, friendly & helpful and the breakfast was a bonus with a great choice of food and drink (juice/tea/coffee).

Unfortunately our room was next door to the swimming pool and we could hear if people were noisy (but pool timings meant this did not affect our sleep). There was no kettle in the room but there was a coffee machine near reception which was the good thing about being close to it.

Location is super convenient - close to a bus stop too. Having a pool and hot tub was appreciated!

1. The pool was extremely chlorinated and not clean. I understand that over-chlorinating it takes care of a lot of the microorganisms but still water is dangerous. I was expecting not just a drain but fresh water actually coming into the pool. 2. The receptionists were the rudest people in our entire stay. Short tempered, not courteous. I avoided the lobby to avoid them, especially considering I booked a king suite with the spa (that has to be one of the higher priced rooms?). Housekeeping staff was very polite.

We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at this hotel. Initially, we were somewhat skeptical due to some less favorable reviews, but our experience exceeded expectations. Visiting during the off-season allowed us to take advantage of reduced rates, offering excellent value for money. The rooms were spacious and clean. Despite the hotel being nearly at capacity, as indicated by the full underground parking lot, our room remained peaceful and quiet. The pool and hot tub were highlights of our stay—exceptionally clean and maintained at the perfect temperature. We found that visiting these amenities in the morning, while others were at breakfast, provided a more private and relaxing experience. The hotel’s prime location, just minutes from downtown, added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions. Overall, we were thoroughly pleased with the service and experience, and we highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location.

We like this brand a lot. Loved the very comfortable bed, the balcony and the view. The property has a pool so it draws families to the property and I didn't take that into consideration when booking. Kids were running in the halls up until 1030p or so. The breakfast room needs a zhoush. It's small and the food is largely pre-fab. The banging and crashing coming from the staging room added to the bustle. In sharp contrast, we stayed at the BW in Revelstoke the next night and give that property a 10 out of 10 For comfort, quietness, quality and value.

Great location with easy walk to Banff Ave where all the action is. It is in the quieter end of the street which is nice. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. Great hot buffet breakfast served from 7-10 daily with potato wedges or hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon and pancakes or waffles. Also muffins, bread, 3 kinds of cereal and oatmeal. There is a juice and coffee machine and white milk cartons. The pool was nice and deep and the hot tub was relaxing. Free parking on site, underground.

Everything was great. If I can say anything, I’d prefer a variety of pillow types. 4 puffy down type pillows were provided on each queen size bed. I prefer foam type pillows.

The hotel is perfectly located and close to the main street with all the shops, cafes, restaurants and public transport pick up stops.The staff was pleasant and helpful with all questions.The room was spacious and clean. We are very appreciative of the generous hot beverage machine that we were able to access throughout the day for a variety of hot chocolates, teas and coffees without an additional charge. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommend this hotel.😃

I really recommend this hotel, has a wonderful location, has a pool inside until 10 pm which I love it. Excellent customer services, they allow me to enter before the hour of the check in. The breakfast was amazing which was include in the price. My pet enjoy to be there as well. The room was comfortable, really big, with access to the yard for my pet. The hotel has parking in the basement. I definitely will come back there.

The breakfast area just has a few tables. Sometimes there was a lost of guest there.

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and able to help with any queries. Room was a good size, the pool and hot tub were really nice and have a lovely view of the mountains. Nice location, with an easy walk into town, they also have underground parking which is a bonus!

Pillows are really uncomfortable, super thin and soft.you can hear people in the hallways, not a major issue for us as the hotel wasn't too busy. The breakfast was limited and not of great quality, the room is also really small so gets crowded very easily
