The location is very convenient, a few walk from the busiest street in banff, 1 min walk from the bow river where you could spend sometime We had booked 4 nights, Due to some emergency, on the day before checkout date, I had to leave and get ready to fly back home; even though it was non refundable, the owner was very understanding after I explained the situation and issued refund for the last night.

Since its wooden house, it’s not very sound/ proofed, if someone is doing dishes or talking loud or doing something in the kitchen downstairs, you could hear it from your room on second floor.

The breakfast is prepared by the household like it's your home and it's decent with pastry, yogurts, milk, eggs, condiments, pb&j etc. The location is phenomenal, under 10 min walking distance to everywhere. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Free parking space behind the house is really good, because almost everywhere in Banff you have to pay parking. Wi-fi was great. The host was really friendly. Really good mountain views.

Not isolated rooms, shower gel and shampoo dispenser is not working and seem to lack quality. The temperature of the room is not controlled.

The location is awesome, you’re right in the heart of downtown Banff, within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, and hikes. The owners were great about answering our questions and accommodating a late check-in. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Free parking in Banff was awesome too!

It does feel like you’re staying at a friend’s house, except they’re a stranger. You’re staying in someone else’s house and if you’re just looking for a safe and comfortable place to sleep after a day of exploring Banff, it’s a great choice.

Loved the room, perfect for what we needed and location was ideal. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was great each morning, very flexible since we were getting early buses some days. Great contact with the hosts, they were able to answer all my questions and allowed us to store our bags the day we left.

One member of the staff, the breakfast staff I think, was quite obnoxiously loud on the phone while we were eating breakfast, making it hard to eat in peace. They were also continuously clearing their throat and spitting which was not pleasant.

Our room was cosy and has a smart TV.

Small bath and dissatisfaction with a shower caddy and bathroom equipment, The design makes it very hard to reach shampoo and essentials, significantly reducing its usability.

Great location and good value for money right in the centre of Banff. VERY comfy beds and spacious room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't hot/fresh cooked but had options (hard boiled eggs, toast, bagel, muffin, apple, banana, orange, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, etc.). Would def stay again if coming through Banff

Wouldn't say it was dirty but room/bathroom could have used a deep clean.

This property is the heart of banff with everything you could need on your doorstep. Easy access to shuttle buses to tourist attractions outside the area such as lake louise. Parking at the rear of the property was a great bonus as parking in the area can sometimes be problematic. Property was very clean and had a range of choices for breakfast in the morning. Hosts were polite and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Shower was a bit temperamental either being freezing cold or boiling hot (might be something to do with other guests in the property using the water at the same time). However if this is addressed this would be the perfect place to stay in Banff.

Location is as good as it gets in Banff. Check-in was quick, clear and easy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, great sleep. Our room was cooler and our host brought a space heater for us. Parking is great. Breakfast is fairly basic, but always appreciated.

Noise isolation between rooms and floors isn't great, your experience will depend on how respectful about noise others are. One night there was someone cooking and cleaning downstairs until almost midnight. It was very noisy and the smell of garlic came straight under the door upstairs, we had to open the window. The sheets were Hilton branded, and although very comfortable it's slightly off putting, given there is no affiliation to Hilton. If the breakfast had a few more options or variation of fruit, made to order eggs or pancakes, it could be a 10/10

Super lucky to found this place as it's affordable and very close to everything. They also served simple breakfast everyday. It's really a win-win. My unit was so cozy and comfortable. Oh, and my view thru the window was fantastic!!! The owners were also super sweet and helpful. You can really feel you're at home. Will be back again when I got time. Thank you!!!

First: Banff is beautiful, but pricey location. This accommodation belongs among the cheapest (except hostels). If you select such affordable price in Banff you cannot expect the level of 3* hotel. You get what you paid for. Overall the stay was good.

In a cold day, there was really cold in the room and in the breakfast area. Other guest also complained. There are many details inside and outside the building, to be easily improved by owner to make guests feel better.
