Great buffet-style breakfast! Eggs, sausage or bacon, baked beans, potatoes, pancakes, plus the typical continental breakfast items. Loved the self-serve coffee/tea station that was stocked all day. Nice pool, not cold, also not too warm. Front desk staff were friendly, professional and attentive. Room had lots of lighting settings, outlets, USB ports, and the A/C worked well. The windows can be opened a few inches for fresh air if desired. Nice showerhead in the bathroom with three settings. Dove products supplied in shower and at sink. In-room safe (not bolted down though). Overall a modern and well-provisioned room. Lots of parking, and you could use your key card to enter the hotel from the back. Key card required in the elevator and for the fitness room and pool. Also, they have two washers and two dryers ($2.50 each at time of writing).

The beds were comfortable but too soft for my personal liking. If you have back issues and need something supportive, these might not be the best for you. They were plush and cozy though. The fitness room was ok but needs to be cleaned better. Lots of dust and hair in the corners and borders. Only one small surface between the two beds in the room, no nightstand drawers. Kinda crowded for everyone's books, phones, personal items...

We liked the pool and the clean rooms, comfortable beds, yummy breakfast in the morning. The staff was nice and it was easy for me to switch rooms to a family-friendly room. My kids enjoyed playing on the computers 🖥 🙌 👌.

Breakfast doesn't go long enough... we missed it the first morning cause we didn't realize it only went till 10. The showers were good but could use more water pressure.. and it was weird when you were showering. Sometimes, the pressure would be up and down, and you could hear it.

Was assigned the same room I had the previous weeks stay. Everything is well. Laid out. The bed was comfortable the bedding was soft with no hint of perfumed laundry odour. Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items. It turned out I had to stay an unexpected second night which presented no problem and I was able to stay in the same room.

The pillows were too soft. One alone did not keep my head up enough and two together was not good either. The body lotion provided was scented. Since I have allergies to perfumes I couldn’t use it. I forgot mine and had to pick some up at nearby pharmacy.

The breakfast cinnamon rolls were a real treat and it was clean.. The coffee was piping hot and good quality and all six of us were able to find something each of the four mornings we stayed there.

It could be better stocked so items are not running out and also please stop allowing dogs in the food area. Often the rolls, pancakes, coffee, juice, milk were empty and so you had to ask for it to be replenished. More fresh fruit options and whole wheat selections would be welcomed too.

Flying for hours to visit elderly sick parents and grandparents was a stressful time but this property was stress free. The reception staff were welcoming and had us in our spotless room quickly. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast provided was delicious. I highly recommend this property.

This property has nothing to dislike.

The breakfast was great and a full breakfast too. So, a great value. Pancakes, pork sausage, bacon, eggs, juice, coffee, and more. The location was great and was fairly close to Mt. Washington and downtown Courtenay.

I would like a medicine ball in the gym. And some kettlebells would be a great touch. It was nice to have the TV to set up some video workouts.

The breakfast was awesome! All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room and hotel in general were spotlessly clean. Parking was plentiful and easily accessed. The location was good for access to main travel routes, but the local neighbourhood doesn't have a lot of interesting sights or things to do within walking distance.

I do prefer to have a kitchenette in-room, but not a deal-breaker.

The hotel was vary quite, never herd the other guest.

I was there for several days and the breakfast was the same everyday but one, it would be nice to offer one different thing each day. eg omelet instead of scrambled eggs, bacon instead of sausage, cream of wheat instead oat meal. Just some suggestion but the food was vary good.

A good variety of breakfast foods.. The room was extremely quiet. No noise from outside and no hallway noise. As an older senior I was glad to have a grab bar to get in and out of the shower! I liked that there were two easy chairs to sit and relax. I especially like the fact that one needs to use the room key to access the elevators.

The hot breakfast foods need to be kept a bit hotter.
