Was close to everything, the ocean view was phenomenal, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable! Great sleeps and beautiful morning ocean views to wake up to was amazing. The restaurant was great as well and being able to do morning walks by the ocean every morning was a great bonus.

The doors were loud when others would close them shut and would wake us up and the shower heads were sprinkling water lightly rather than streaming lol (need new shower heads with higher pressure) but overall, was great.

Oh, we love the view. We were initially placed on the 5th floor, overlooking a rooftop, so we asked to be moved to a better view. We appreciate the location of the hotel in the town - it's close to our family, the pier, and stores. The seal around our balcony door was tested in a HUGE wind and rain storm on our last night there! It pounded all night long against those windows and there was no leaking. :)

The towels are rough and thin. The shower pressure was very weak - not sure if it's because we were on the top floor or because of the particular shower head. Changing the type of water flow on the shower head didn't help.

Front desk staff at check in did not inform me that the room card could open the back entrance door and as I'm disabled I had to drive around and park by front entrance of Establishment and walk extra with canes. Morning desk Clerk at check out informed me of that back door opened with room key. Was very disappointed that check in staff failed to inform me of room key being able to grant entry around the back entrance. 🙃

Rooms were nice and clean. Beds and pillow very comfortable. View was beautiful. We saw a sea lion and two whales from our room. All the rooms have an ocean view. Rooms equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Very nice complimentory breakfast offered. Staff was nice and helpful!

Parking lot is right under the rooms. Can be a little noisy. Not eco friendly. No recycling bins in the room. Plastic cups for drinking and paper cups for coffee. Everything goes into the garbage.

The lady that checked us in - Laura - was not very helpful. First she kept on saying we didn’t have a reservation and then when she finally did find it we found out she was looking at the wrong date. No apology. Then she said there was no elevator to our floor. When we questioned her she said the elevator was only from the fifth floor and we were on the fourth floor. After dragging our stuff down the stairs we found out later there was another entrance with access to an elevator from the lower level. We were not happy about that and not sure why she didn’t tell us. We used the lower parking lot for the rest of our stay.

I have stayed at this motel many times and it is clean and very comfortable. All the rooms face away from the nearby highway so it is quiet. The beds are super comfortable.

On previous occasions I've had a room on floor 3 or floor 5. This time I ended up with a floor 4 room which, due to the geometry of the building and the specific room location, has much less of a view than I'm used to. Most rooms have an uninterrupted 180 deg water view, but this one was only about a 90 deg view and looked out partially on some not-too-attractive bits of the building... so I was disappointed and felt the room should have been cheaper because it was "below standard" for this motel.

Fantastic location with great views. We could sit on the deck to enjoy drinks and food.

The service for breakfast was painfully slow. It took 15 mins to be seated for the buffet despite several empty tables, as there was no one to clear them. Another guest helped out by serving us coffee! The waiting staff were friendly but it was too much work for them. The breakfast buffet food was ok, but I've had much better elsewhere.

The whole staff were extremely helpful, respectful and kind! Very connected and happy to serve their customers! We would return just because of the kindness and warmth shown by Judith each morning at breakfast! We stayed 10 nights and enjoyed going to breakfast and having Judith greet us to start our day with her warm cheer and conversation!

The location and the views

We have stayed before at this hotel and one reason is they have a restaurant which is great as we don’t have to leave the property in the evening. However when we checked in we were told the restaurant was closed. Had we known this we would have stayed at another location

Near water

Property was ok. Elevator very odd. Needed from third to fourth floor.The breakfast buffet was the worst buffet at a hotel I have seen. I understand the purpose is to encourage people to spend more and buy from the menu , but it definitely could be expanded and improved upon. Simple things like fruit, yogurt and English muffins or bagels is simple to do
