The resort staff were very helpful and cheerful, and the facilities included everything needed for a good stay. parking was inluded, which was lovely, and there was ample parking near our room. the location is lovely. the weather was poor while we were there, but I imagine there are great walks and hikes nearby. we were able to take advantage of the driving range with a bucket of balls included each day of our stay, which was lovely. while we didn't get out everyday because of the weather, when we finally were able to use the range, the staff let us have one of our previous days buckets to maximize our time out there that day, which was lovely. the coffee and tea in the lobby is also a nice touch especially when weather isn't great in the winter!

while the resort has everything needed, we found the sound proofing in our room was not great - the room had a joint room option door, which likely make sound proofing difficult. The facilities were somewhat dated, but despite this all amenities were available as advertised.

This beautiful condo style villa was a wonderful treat for my adult children who came to stay over Christmas. The resort was decorated for the holidays and was like a winter wonderland. The room had a full kitchen, spacious living area with gas fireplace, the bedroom had a soaker hot tub and would be a lovely honeymoon suite for a couple. The villa is in a quiet, wooded area overlooking the greens. It was quiet and led to a relaxing stay. We even brought over Christmas dinner and enjoyed it around the dining table together! Highly recommend.

Hair dryer was broken but replaced when requested.

Massive suite - great value for the price by comparison to other available hotels/rooms in the area. Everything seemed quite clean. Snacks and coffee available at the front desk.

King bed was unfortunately much too soft for what we prefer. Jacuzzi tub cold faucet took some figuring out as you had to move it around more than one full turn to get any cold water to come out. We noticed there were quite a few mosquitoes buzzing around at the entrance, and so a few flew in when we went in and out. We stayed over Christmas and unfortunately the restaurant was already full, there was no room service available, and only a few open restaurants further away in town (only 1 that could take a walk in without reservation). This is our fault for not planning ahead for this.

Beautiful grounds, nice staff. Frank at the golf shop was lovely. Great pillows and quite comfy bed. The room was cute and not a bad price at all for summer. Was cool to sit on the patio and watch the golfers, and the free balls to hit on the driving range were a nice touch

Not sure if it was just our room or all of them, but the AC was EXTREMELY loud. Woke me up every time it kicked it, so if you are a light sleeper maybe not the place for you in summer. It was also hard to get it to work properly.

The two restaurants were wonderful. The location is excellent, serene, beautiful, and lots of parking. The room was spectacular with two queen beds, a kitchenette, a fridge, large TV with good air conditioning. The staff were very pleasant, professional, courteous and helpful and went above and beyond what they needed to do when I asked for an extra stay. The facilities were pristine and the fitness room fully equipped and was a joy to work out in.

I enjoyed the room, with a balcony looking on to the golf course. Great for coffee in the morning or snacks during the day or evening. I found the ambiance relaxing. Having a dining room with good quality food was definitely a plus. The large soaker tub, perfect following a busy day, possibly providing toiletries for tub relaxation. The service and food in the Atrium the next morning was delightful. Thank you

I requested to pay the bill with debit upon arrival, the desk person put on my credit card, requiring a reversal of charges when I left the next day. It was handled well by the next person, but the charge remains on your card for a few days. I went to the dining room in the evening , as a single. The food was very good, but I got the feeling, due to the business of the restaurant it was preferred that I finish and go. I sat at a table for 4. I was not asked if I wanted more wine or anything else, offered the bill. I ordered my dessert to go and paid my bill.

Convenient location to family in Comox. Spacious, quiet HUGE rooms. Good bathroom. Complementary taxi to Powell River ferry. Enjoyable supper in the restaurant. Good, portable breakfast sandwich.

For a traveller without a vehicle, it was a long walk with stairs carrying my bag to my Balmoral room. I didn't need or especially want the second room in the suite (206) which had a cold air purifier running. I shut the door to that room and didn't use it Didn't like that there was no ice in the suite's freezer, nor an ice dispenser in the building

The grounds were beautifully decorated for Christmas as was the reception area. Staff were amazing, happy and helpful. We were upgraded to the premier suite which was beyond beautiful and comfortable and was a very nice surprise to us. Was a fantastic stay. Dinner in the Timber room and breakfast the following morning were really good and my wife and I both loved the Christmas themed drink menu. very fun.

That we couldn't stay longer due to our travel schedule.

It was the best omelet ever! Staff were very courteous and helpful! You were made to feel so welcome when you arrive and feel so at home. It was so relaxing and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. We would love to go back again someday.

The fireplace in the living room did not work. I would make sure I booked a lower level next time since I am 82 years old and my husband 79. It was hard climbing stairs but wow it was worth it! Cutlery did not add up and there were only 3 forks lots of other knives etc. We didn't need anymore but it should show even number of forks, spoons, knives when you come and when you leave. Coffee was very strong in the restaurant, so we ordered a pot of hot water.

I stayed in one of the new cottages and was very impressed. They are spacious, very tastefully decorated, immaculate and have fully equipped kitchens. Or if not in the mood for cooking, you can order food to be delivered to your door from the on site restaurant. The staff assisted me with bringing my luggage to the cottage as I had no vehicle, but there is parking right in front of each cottage if you have a vehicle. My unit looked out on the golf course. Would definitely book a cottage again!
