A Touch of English is a WONDERFUL B&B in the heart of Kelowna. Clare is such a welcoming and friendly host who makes you feel at home from the minute you walk into her lovely house. I was traveling alone so she and I enjoyed lively and interesting conversation over tea and yummy scones and maybe a touch of marvelous Kelowna wine. Having said this, if you want to just chill by yourself or with your partner, it is a wonderful place to relax, and she would never be intrusive. Wi-fi is strong. The property is lovely with a large pool and expansive outdoor area with a furnished outdoor deck. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy breakfast out there. However, breakfast inside at the dining table enjoying the beautiful view out the massive picture window is wonderful as well. I loved staying in the Devon room. It is bright, airy and tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed and a gorgeous view out the large windows. The bathroom was good size with a great shower (nice strong water pressure). Certainly, a highlight was her breakfasts. DIVINE! Tastefully presented, plentiful and delicious with a first course of fruit and yogurt following by a creative main course. I loved staying at A Touch of English B&B and would not hesitate to highly recommend to anyone who wants an authentic and welcoming B&B experience in a peaceful neighborhood with close and easy access to hiking, wineries, shopping, restaurants. Clare is a wealth of information about the area. I hope I can return to Kelowna and stay here again!!

Clare welcomed me and my dog with a warm smile and a treat for us both, instantly making me feel safe and welcome. The suite was beautiful, spotless and calm after an extremely stressful day. I had everything I needed in the suite, including my own private entrance. Breakfast each day was delicious and hearty. This was one of the most pleasant stays I have every had, and I would definitely recommend.

The stairs to my suite were very steep, so this suite would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Also, the location is somewhat remote and away from restaurants and activities, which for some could also be a positive since the neighbourhood is quiet.

The breakfast, both mornings, was amazing. It was also quite special to visit with other travelers, and with Claire (the owner) during our stay. The bed was SO comfy, and the little touches (like white chocolate-dipped strawberries waiting for us in our room), were very much appreciated.

The pool wasn't available during our stay as it was out of operation for the season. Because the property is located in a residential area (which is lovely, btw!), there isn't anything within walking distance.

We had a fantastic stay! Clare was an exceptional host – very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy with a beautiful view, and little touches like bathrobes and slippers made it feel like home. Breakfast was great as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when back in Kelowna

Everything was great. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helped with ideas on where to go. The location is in a very nice suburb, which is quiet and yet easy to get downtown or to other attractions. There is an outside area that is shaded as well as seats in the sunshine around the pool. Kelowna itself is a great town. The Waterside is a nice area to spend a day and there are lots of good places to eat. The beaches are clean and there are lots of water based activities.

If I could give this 11/10 I would. Clare was the most welcoming host! She made us feel as if we visited the B&B many times before. The views from the terrace are so gorgeous. It’s a very calming and lovely place, including a pool! We booked it to have some relax-time on our active travels, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The room was so beautiful and everything was spotless. Finally, amazing homemade breakfast! Thank you Clare & Kelly for everything!

Everything in this location was outstanding. The host, Claire, goes through great effort to assure a great stay and attends to every detail to assure an exceptional experience from providing a spot of sherry on arrival to amazing and diverse breakfasts every morning. The location is outstanding with amazing views of Kelowna. And our room was spacious and spotless! Could not rate higher.

Felt like I was in England again. The type of place you suggest to your best friends immediately because they have to experience it too. So many details. Afternoon tea when you arrive sets your vacation to a really positive start. It’s so lovely. The breakfast is delicious and you can tell it’s made with a lot of care. A place that takes you a bit out of reality. Kelly is the nicest person, the best chef and so full of knowledge. Clare brings in the joy, the amazing scones and keeping an impeccable place. The pool is beautiful and heated. Actually heated. The mattress is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. No exaggerations. My body melted every time I laid down in bed. The shower is powerful and hot. Its quiet and surrounded by greenery. My partner and I are both women and felt very comfortable. It’s a 10/10 in every aspect. I’ll be back!

Clare and Kelly treated us like family from the time we walked in the door. Traditional tea and biscuits served on the back veranda on arrival. Clare is a great host and provided us with a map and points of interest plus things to see and do during our visit. Breakfast was exceptional and there was fresh fruit and a different hot dish each morning. Kelly is a great cook. Our room was spacious and comfortable with king bed and ensuite.

This was a very charming b&b, with a lovely pool in the back and an excellent view from the back patio. Rooms were clean and cozy. Claire & Kelly Sulcoy, the owners, were gracious hosts. Their delicious afternoon tea and breakfast feast as well as the small bottle of sherry in the rooms were all thoughtful touches that helped enhance our stay. The b&b is located ~7-10 min drive to downtown Kelowna, in a quiet residential neighborhood. I would highly recommend this b&b.
