This hotel was honestly the real pleasant surprise of our whole Canadian road trip. This was our last night before flying home, and really just a stop over to break up a long drive, selected just for a good price. But it really exceeded expectations! The room was a great size, with a good sized bathroom and separate sink and dresser area, 'bedroom' type space and a decent size sitting area. Large desk space. Good facilities with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, large fridge... Plenty of toiletries provided, plus a little rubber duckie. Dedicated parking space directly outside the room made unloading and packing up easy and gave reassurance in terms of security. The area was what you'd expect from any larger city, and I've read other reviews put off by some local characters, but honestly we felt perfectly safe and secure and encountered no issues at all. Well located for access to main roads in and out of town. More of a walk into downtown, but perfectly do-able in 15-20min or so, and felt an easy and safe trip even returning later at night. We also got free breakfast vouchers for the grill across the car park which was unexpected but appreciated - note the voucher is for a specific set breakfast rather than anything off their menu, but can also be used as discount against whatever you like, and staff were really good at explaining your options and accommodating and changes or extras you wanted.

Bit of a walk to most points of interest, attractions, shops/restaurants etc., but it is walkable, and the hotel area is probably a bit quieter due to this further out location.

What really stood out during our stay was how genuinely kind and welcoming the staff were. From the moment we checked in, it felt like they were truly happy to have us there. Later that evening, we had some unexpectedly loud neighbors—not a party, just talkative. I hesitated to say anything, but when I asked about changing rooms, the woman at the desk was incredibly understanding and kind. Within five minutes, we were comfortably settled into a quieter room, and she made sure we didn’t feel bad for asking. It’s rare to feel that appreciated as a guest. The customer service here truly exceeded expectations.

So clean!! Decorated very lovely. Very comfortable bed. And you got a coupon for a breakfast at Ricky’s. And the rubber ducky that you get to keep was very festive.

I would have liked a hand held shower. The shower head was very high and I had no way of avoiding getting my hair wet which I didn’t want to do. And if you chose to bath there was no soap for bathing. But having said that the place was spotless and the towels bright white.

The staff were great, accommodated an early check in. My husband was up frequently and grabbed coffee from the lobby. The staff member noticed he had been in a few times and had checked in to ensure everything with the room was okay as he wasn’t sleeping. ( my son is autistic and this was his first hotel stay, coffee was needed 😂) The rubber duck made my sons entire stay! 10/10 recommend this hotel for a convenient stay! Pool was great also!

Room was very clean. Staff were friendly. Location was great for us: 2 km to downtown area and 3 km to hospital (reason for stay). Lots of restaurants in area and a mall across the street that had a grocery store. Also a convenience store on same block. Parking lot was big and contained a Ricky's Restaurant and a Starbucks. Guests of the hotel get a 10% discount at Ricky's. You can walk or drive to the downtown area easily down Bernard Avenue and see many heritage houses.

Room was spacious and clean. Property is a little older, but appears to be well maintained. Ample parking, and outdoor pool (we didn't use it but looked clean and well maintained)

The room set up is very odd. In our room , the bed is located directly at the front of room, right next to entry/door. Their is also a window right next to bed with people walking by (its a motel) which makes it feel a little less private. And the love seat and table are further into the room, in the more private area. Not sure why the room isn't set up in reverse, with the bed near back of room with more quiet and privacy?

staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. And the location was easy access to grocery, food chain and my husband favorite store whish is the liqour store lol. The small kitchen was a plus...

is just that when we entered our room, there's a smell of something we couldn't smell...maybe from the carpet

Room was clean and comfortable. The bed in the bedroom was very nice and the sofa bed was comfortable.

A little more space in the living room as when the sofa bed was open there was not much space to get around it. It was a bit noisy at night from the adjacent highway early in the evening, but it quieted down late in the night.

This property is located quite centrally in Kelowna and conveniently has a grocery store across the road and shares a parking lot with Starbucks. Our room was clean and tidy on arrival and check in was very efficient. The aircon worked fine against the 36C heat and wasn't too noisy. The bed was just right for comfort. We were on the back of the property which was quiet.

The kitchenette could barely be called that. 2 burner stove, small microwave and a bar fridge but no table to sit at. OK for simple meals like cereal and toast but that's about it.

The coupons for meals at Ricki's were a great idea. The location was great. It was a short trip, by Uber to downtown and there were amenities nearby.

I didn't like that, each day, we needed to remind cleaning staff, that we needed 4 facecloths, handtowels, etc.
