Beautiful resort - rooms were immaculate, well-designed and comfortable. Grounds were well kept up. Liked that they offered in-room housekeeping at a time of my choice.

Online check in made me a little nervous, I didn't feel comfortable sending them a photo of my drivers' license and credit card online. I guess I could've declined and just done everything in person when I arrived. I noticed quite a few amenities (although I didn't need them) were out of order or empty, e.g., water fountain by the pool, vending machine in the building lobby. Was confused about the sign saying happy hour 3-5 but didn't see any menus or pricing. It would have been nice if the restaurant on premises served breakfast.

Impeccable rooms and location and facilities, attention to detail was on point! Right from hot chocolate pods for the kids to the hair dryer with diffuser for curly hair, kid friendly food items at the onsite restaurant, kid play area, every little detail was well thought of. Very comfortable beds and pillows n duvets. The only hotel where we actually noticed the bedding. Great staff, everyone was so sweet and helpful. Clean washrooms by the pool, drinks and food are delivered at the pool, so convenient for families with littles. Loved every bit of our 2 night, 3 day stay at The Balcomo.

Wish they had some basic bfast everyday. They do breakfasts and brunches only on weekends.

The property was clean and mostly renovated, compared to other places in Penticton it is considered to be one of the nicer hotel in the area. The restaurant next door was a nice to touch. You can order food from the restaurant and they deliver it to you if you’re at the pool area.

I found the front staff was not very knowledgeable when we arrived. She didn’t even know the address of the place. The patio is covered in cobwebs. And the renovations wasn’t done for the hot tub which was advertised that it was going to be open for the July long weekend.

Great room, great location, very clean which is the #1 thing I look for when booking a hotel. Just a quick walk from a number of restaurants and the SOEC. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re going to a concert or show. The onsite restaurant was great, we went for a late night drink and pizza after our concert and the server/bartender was awesome. Loved the jacuzzi room, we’d love to stay here again in the winter and utilize the fireplace.

Bed could be comfier, amenities were closed for repair (we were aware before booking), 6 texts, 2 booking.com messages and 2 phone calls checking in on us was a little much for my liking but I can appreciate the attentiveness

Our double queen room was generously sized with a lovely balcony overlooking the golf course. The window treatments, furniture and fixtures were sleek and contemporary, and the beds very cozy, clean and comfortable. The bathroom and coffee areas were well stocked and topped up daily. The outdoor pool area is large and nicely designed with lots of private spaces. The restaurant looks great, though we didn’t get a chance to eat there.

The air conditioner was a bit loud when it started up. (This could have been us not setting it properly).

Everything was very clean and comfortable. The bedding linens are very nice and the mattress was very comfortable and high quality. The bathrooms are very clean, large and spa like. I really like that there isn't any carpet in the rooms, but instead nice clean modern laminate flooring.

We would have enjoyed the pool and hot tub area, but there was still a lot of construction going on. Also, our room was on the second floor which is only accessible by stairs, so maybe not suitable for mobility impaired guests.

Clean updated rooms, great layout and nice amenities. Grounds were nice. Pool area, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge are a great feature, also the quiet areas. Housekeeping standards are high.

Pool and hot tub area should definitely have an adult only, quiet time, maybe after 9pm. Or have a separate hot tub for the younger ones outside of the “spa” area. Required supervision for kids is not enforced resulting in a chaotic environment when trying to relax.

Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. It was convenient to our room and they provided extra towels (but no bath robes) for the pool area. The staff were happy to provide extra pods for the Kureg and real milk for my coffee. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the balcony. Great stay for our fall stay.

Restaurant not open for breakfast. The rooms do not have a kitchen so we had to go foraging at the mini mall across a very busy road to eat before 10 am. Pool and hot tub (big plus of the establishment) closes for winter season Sept. 30. Lucky we got to use it.

Front desk staff went above and beyond to show us the room ( on the far side of the complex from the office) to be sure it met our requests. Room was very comfortable, nice decor, and was pet and carpet free so no allergies! Dinner at the adjacent restaurant sitting outside by a fireplace ( in Oct) was lovely. Secure car parking was a nice bonus.

Exercise room was small and somewhat cramped. But clean and had windows! Having the pool fenced off for the fall-winter season detracted somewhat from the view, but was understandable.

The room had a Spa like feeling, very clean, beautiful, comfortable beds, modern furniture and bathroom. It also had a nice size balcony with a view of a beautiful garden like setting of the property. The swimming pool and restaurant were just a few steps away, relaxing environment. Great food, friendly and helpful staff made our stay a wonderful mini vacation.

The air conditioner was next to one of the beds and the direction the air was blown, right towards the bed, could not be adjusted.
