The location is just a steps away from the beach . We’ve had one bedroom with two double beds kitchen and living room bathroom. Kitchen was good size it was equipped with everything you need to make small meals, breakfast etc . It was just perfect for me and my two granddaughters. The staff was very friendly and helpful constantly asking if you need anything my coffee maker wasn’t working when we got there but they gave me new one right away which was awesome. Location is excellent we walked out of our room and we just crossed the street and were on the beach . The lodge has also inside pool and barbecues if you need it. We will definitely coming back next year.

This is our 2nd time with Slumber, a 2 minute walk towards the beach, was amazing! The staff was friendly and was able to attend to whatever you need. The rooms were clean and the staff will recommend a room that will meet your family standards. The staff gave us a map as well recommending where everything is in the town. Location is great, along the boardwalk with the restaurants just a 5 minute walk.
Room needs some updating but who stays in a room on vacation? Some areas of the room needs to be vacuumed but all in all, no complains or issues.

Receptionist helped us with a more accessible ground floor room instead of the one booked on the 2nd floor for the same price. This was our 3 rd time at the motel and we have always found it convenient and good value. It is a good location for the access to the park and lake, but was too late and cold by the time we arrived to enjoy it. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and easily accessed from the car. It had enough hangers and towels
There was no fan in the bathroom, or night light - so we left the door open and lights on at night.

Stayed at several hotel/motels in the same area and we can already compare the difference in terms of cleanliness. The carpet looked clean but i would prefer they remove all the carpet and changed it to tiles or laminate. Slumber lodge is at the far east end of Lakeshore drive which is a little walk to where the restaurants are. But if you want a quieter area, this will be the place. Price is a bit higher than other places in the area, but the price difference is worth it. My friends checked in a diff motel and they complained about the cleanliness of their place. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Parking was a bit of an issue since it's very tight and some especially those who drives a truck thinks it's ok to occupy close to 2 parking spaces. I did manage to always find a spot but i noticed some people had issues like having to park beside the inconsiderate driver of the truck.

Had a very comfortable stay in the King Suite. The room is spacious enough and was exceptionally clean. There was a nice view of the lake and the hotel is well situated being close to the down town core, beach, parks and restaurants. An added bonus is the bistro table & chairs where one can relax with a cup of coffee.
The heater is a little noisy! The problem can easily be solved by turning down the temperature at the control panel at night when you go to sleep. The bathroom extractor fan ran all night. Simply close the bathroom door before going to bed and it won't bother you.

We have stayed in all the little motels on "The Strip" in Penticton and pretty sure Slumber Lodge was the best (I don't 100% remember them all). Immaculately clean; reasonably updated; awesome location; big room; staff very friendly and helpful. (We had a couple of issues of OUR making and they could not have been more helpful). 100% would go back.

Location right on the beach is good, two blocks from Saturday Farmers Market in the park, coffee shop, bars, restaurants and cinema within walking distance. There are, however, no decent convenience stores or supermarkets closeby. $25 to get there by taxi from the airport. Bruce at reception was very helpful. Room was acceptably (not exceptionally) clean. Cleaning lady Rose was very obliging. Great that the room is equipped with A/C, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee/tea machine, cable tv, clock, shower & bath, a hair-dryer. Very good hot, plentiful, powerful water supply (but as per other reviews - it disappears from time to time when others turn on taps). Lots of towels supplied. The bed and range of pillows were comfortable. Couldn't get into the laundry but it seemed reasonably priced. Didn't find the room and linen to be as old and worn as some reviews indicated.
A toaster would be a great addition. No way to air the bathroom or open windows without compromising privacy. Towels were of variable quality-from stained to brand new fluffy ones. (The dirty ones were changed without question). Hairs on some of the pillows. Paper on the floor under the bed. Scored a pair of socks from a drawer. Drink vending machine not working. Pool not available until 2024.

Close to beach and clean and reasonable price.
I called in to let them know I would be arriving a 1030 ish and I seen online they closed at 10 the lady said Noproblem I’m upfront till 11 or I can leave you a key in mail box.then 1045 I get a call are you coming?I told her once again im a bit late from the coming from the coast but like I said be there before before 11 like I said.I got there at 10:50 did she think I was going to turn around and go home after I talked to her not a big deal but wasn’t the bet way to start your trip being bugged bye the front desk after I called them already. I will say on check out was totally lovely just think if I wasn’t in customer service myself she probably would of had a pretty cranky customer.Always remember No customers no business.I 100 percent would recommend

We booked this room on our way home to Calgary, as we decided we would like to drive through Penticton on our way. We were a bit skeptical, as many of the hotels across from the beach had bad reviews and this one seemed very reasonably priced. We went ahead and booked it, and were very glad that we did. It was in a great location and served our needs perfectly. As it was dark when we got to Penticton and the weather was expected to be quite warm the next day, we inquired as to whether it would be possible to stay another night. We were told that we could and upon asking what the rate would be, we were surprised and happy to learn that it would not be higher, even though it was a Saturday. Both of the front desk staff that I spoke to were very friendly and the gentleman that I spoke to on the Saturday morning offered housekeeping services, extra towels or anything else that we needed. Super nice people! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough, the towels were very soft and fluffy and everything we needed was there.
The only things that we thought could have been better were a) there were cobwebs (not spiderwebs) in the corners and along the edges of the ceiling (my husband got on a chair and wiped them and then it was fine. Some vacuuming along the edges would probably be helpful) and b) there is no fan in the bathroom. There is a window, but if you open it people can see in. We opened it after our showers and closed the shower curtain for privacy. Minor details that really didn't affect our stay much.

Great location across from the beach. The rate at $120 A night in September offered Great value. It was a comfortable hotel stay.
The location, although it's great, is a little noisy. The sit out patio areas aren't really ideal. If you're on the lower level, you're sitting basically in the parking lot but the hotel still has value in its location with the beach across the street and easy access to many restaurants.
