Loved Matt at the front desk! Witty, humourous, accommodating and helpful. We didn't love our first room (we stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms), but absolutely adored our second room! It was spacious and better thought out. The location was absolutely perfection for beach views, restaurants and walking. We rented e-bikes to tour the Naramata Bench and this villa was the very best place to get on our bike path and conveniently drop off our newly purchased bottles of wine before dropping off the bikes.

I didn't like the uncomfortable 2 queen room (loud, bright, sink not in bathroom, not cozy). If you can, opt for a suite. So comfortable, homey and well thought out.

Absolutly perfect location, I am so greatful they upgraded our room, it really made our 4 nights with 3 kids much more comfy. I really like that there's codes to get into the rooms instead of worrying about key cards.

Not having staff on location in the off season. It seemed busy enough to warrant an employee being on site. I came prepared to not have any room service for 5 days, but checking in with no staff seems like a corner being cut. But I can't complain for the price per night in the end. I've stayed in awful hotels that were more money.

I arrived a bit later than usual, and I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and understanding, which I greatly appreciated. The location is quite favorable for those seeking a quiet and clean environment at competitive prices, often the lowest in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the effective soundproofing of the walls, which contributed positively to my experience. The Spanish villas should be considered, as they not only offer the most economical option but also maintain a level of quality that exceeds expectations. This combination makes for a worthwhile stay overall.

Unbeatable location seconds from the beach! The hotel looks a little worn on the outside, but inside the rooms are clean, well maintained and clearly recently renovated. The automatic online check-in was super easy and the front desk staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful on checkout. The AC worked very well, the bathroom was clean and there was courtyard parking for all guests. Great experience overall!

If you have a large vehicle, please note that the parking spots are a little tight

My husband and I have been going out to Penticton for 6-7 years. This year we made it a family vacation with the kids and grandkids. You can’t beat this hotels location to activities and the beach.

We weren’t able to check into our room until after 5 pm, which wasn’t great with small kids. The foot wash right outside our room was backed up the whole time we were there so we had to walk around a swamp of dirty water.. it was pretty gross. The double room we booked for the family wasn’t connected. The hotel said the booking didn’t note that we wanted the rooms together? So we had to go back and forth between the two rooms, not ideal but we made it work.

No cleaning services, very noisy air conditioning unit that had me sleep without it turned on, no room service for any needs, and I had to walk to the front desk when they were there(which was harder to track) for any kind of needs from coffee to soap to towels. This was a bit of a pain. They also don’t allow reverse parking and for those who prefer to drive out from a crowded parking lot it’s a bit of a hassle.

The check in process was seamless & did all over text, as well as check out. They also graciously allowed an early check-in for health reasons. The linen is older but well kept & smelled great (huge bonus to me).I used to work at the Spanish Villa in 2017 for part of a summer. It was nice to go back!

There was a fair amount of noise in the parking area at night. A few areas in the room were pretty dusty (behind TV mostly).

Location is directly across the street from the beach and playground. Convenient location with everything close by. Good sized accomodation and reasonably priced.

Beside green space which is frequented by many homeless people. Housekeeping not provided daily which wasn't a problem however didn't provide any cleaning tools (broom/vaccum) to control sand etc.

.Room was comfortable and clean with a kitchenette and large living room area. Perfect location for walking to town or to go bowling and right across from the beach. Matt was so welcoming and always available for any questions.

Couch was a bit stained. Bedroom door couldn’t close.

You really can’t beat the location.

The rooms and building are very old and outdated. The beds were not clean and we found stains and sand in the sheets. So they 100 percent didn’t change the bedding. We had to ask for new bedding ourselves to make the changes. The girl at the front desk was very kind and very pleasant to deal with.
