Decor excellent and charming. Beds very comfortable. Kitchenette well stocked. Shower excellent. Complimentary sweets at reception. Location perfectly located on edge of village and closer to the Lost Lake trail which was great for a decent walk after a long drive.

Parking was going to be $24 for one day but when I asked if there was cheaper elsewhere was immediately shown where (Day Lot 4). I appreciated being told this, but every other hotel we stayed in offered this information themselves rather than us having to ask for it. Lots of 'extras' in the room which seemed a nice touch initially and then you'd see the very small print price tag. Just don't put them there at all, or at least mention them on check in.

Fantastic location with underground parking, needs paying for, but good proce. Super comfy room, great kitchenette which we used every day. All staff were very helpful, approachable and friendly , reception area welcoming and just a great place, would highly recommend, dogs welcome too but ours were home in England, they would have loved it! PLenty of places to eat breakfast, Blenz great coffee and breakfast foods, just over road from hotel, lunch, dinner. Got takewaway pizza from Avalanche, otherwise shopped at huge , well stocked grocery store round the corner and the BC liquor store!

We loved our stay at Summit lodge! The staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable, and there were so many aspects that made the stay easy and enjoyable. The rooms had recycling bins for all recyclables which so many hotels don't have. The fire was amazing to sit and look at whilst winding down of an evening - even if it was not set to heat. The robes were out of this world cosy! and little aspects like the rubber duck in the bath tub and the free candy bar at reception in the evenings were great for both little and big kids! The location was easy to get everywhere but far enough away from the bars etc to be quiet.

Nothing!!

Great value and an excellent location; some other lodges have bars or restaurants nearby playing music quite loud on outdoor terraces, so we were pleased that Summit Lodge was just off the main square and very peaceful yet close to the village's facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable with kitchenette facilities for simple meals. The little balcony was just large enough for two chairs and had a view over the rooftops to the mountains beyond, and the communal terrace by the pool was also pleasant, edged by trees and hardly like being in town.

We'd have liked a little more food preparation equipment. There were pans but no microwave dishes or bowls for preparing ingredients or making salad. After 3 months of travelling with no asthma attacks I started quite bad attacks within a few hours of arrival.

I am always thrilled to write 10 points rating hotels. Because you cannot find them often. Well, this hotel is a 10 points hotel. And they even like dogs- there was a whole list of dog names guests written on a blackboard during our stay :). Everything was exceptionally clean ( and I will intentionally ignore the few long hairs that were stuck on the shower tiles), comfortable. Modern design, everything one needs for a longer or shorter stay. The staff were friendly and happy. There are tons of restaurants and fast foods in a very short walking distance. I can only imagine this place in winter, next to the amazing ski slope.

I don't appreciate solicitations- so, I would get rid of the toys and snacks that are left in the room for purchase. I also found the Apple tablet available an unnecessary liability. Most guests travel with their own devices and offering one to use seems a receipt for disaster, especially if traveling with young kids. Not having parking in the hotel was also something I did not anticipate, but the option for driving at a short distance wasn't not that bad.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean. The location was excellent—just outside the busy Village square, but still within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our view was the poolside so we had a view of trees and not the busy street view. If you can request this I would try to do so. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. My husband had a fall and broke his heel, and the night front desk staff member (I wish I had gotten his name) went above and beyond to help us. He assisted in getting my husband back to the room, called a taxi to take us to the emergency room, and repeatedly checked in to see if there was anything more he could do. When the taxi was delayed, he followed up with the company and even called the hospital to let them know we were on the way. He also brought my husband a glass of water. His kindness and professionalism made a stressful situation a little easier. The hotel should be incredibly proud to have someone like him on their team.

The balcony is very small. Parking was extra on top of a $400.00 (+) per night room. However, most hotels do this now.

Loved the deco of this hotel, so stylish. Little touches in the room also great - expensive toiletries, cuddly toys on beds, iPad (although we couldn’t get it to work), ‘give back’ box in room. Great to have pool too, although small, we managed to grab some time there. Great location too, close to everything but far enough to be quiet at night.

Parking was expensive at +$25CD per night and spaces were tiny. There were 3 of us in room but only 2 robes and 2 chairs on balcony (although balcony couldn’t accommodate more than 2 chairs).

Nice hotel at a reasonable price (comparing to other places around). Pet-friendly with no extra pet fee (!), very friendly and helpful staff, and the location is right in the heart of Whistler – Marketplace is just across the street.

All of Whistler and everything in it is heavily overpriced – and this hotel is just a part of it. Parking is a bit inconvenient – overnight you can leave the car on the street, but after 10 AM it becomes paid parking. Options are either to move it to the hotel’s underground lot for $28/day (if I remember the price), or to the large day lot nearby (walking distance) for $10/day.

Very comfortable, easy going stay. It’s nice and quiet too. The facilities are excellent. Beds are comfy. Loved having tea and coffee facilities and lovely toiletries. Was great being able to use the bbq outside.

The hot tub smelled of lake water, so wasn’t pleasant to use. One of the lifts was out of action most of the time, making it quite a wait at times. One or two of the staff could have been more helpful! Could do with a bit of updating.

The room was beautiful, clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The mini kitchen was a great bonus and made our stay much more convenient, especially for preparing quick meals or snacks. Everything felt well-maintained and comfortable.

The parking area is extremely tight, with very limited space overall. After finally finding a spot, I had to climb out through the back seat because the doors couldn’t open wide enough and we even saw another driver doing the same thing. During our stay, one of the elevators was out of service, which led to long wait times getting in and out of the building. Also, the sofa bed was not very comfortable for the kids
