The location was stunning. Our room overlooked the ocean, and there was an incredible sense of peace and tranquility. Joanna and Chris are wonderful people who went above and beyond to provide me with a gluten-free breakfast that was safe for me (they even used toaster bags to toast my gluten-free bread!!! Awesome). Downstairs there was also a fridge available where we could store our food, the option to make tea or coffee. One thing we truly appreciated was the picnic table on the beach facing the ocean, where we were able to enjoy an aperitif at sunset. While driving toward Mahone Bay, we frequently encountered deer gracefully wandering through the region and during a trip to Kejimkujik National Park, we were lucky enough to encounter a young bear that crossed the road in front of us.

The mattress on the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

What a wonderful gem of a true BnB with a delicious traditional breakfast. Joanna and Chris are wonderful hosts, knowledgeable about the area and attentive to our every need. The room is exceptionally well appointed with extra towels as needed and coffee, tea, fridge, microwave facilities in a shared lounge area plus a balcony/deck overlooking the wonderful view. The bed is comfortable and the ensuite bathroom perfect.

Everything was better than expected!

The hosts are very generous and welcoming. The guest house is surrounded by vast garden space to relax in the evenings or even sip your coffee in the mornings. During the dawn you can even spot some deers around (if you're lucky). The guest house is 10 minutes drive from Mahone Bay where you can find good restaurants and shopping spots. The breakfast is included and it is the star attraction of the stay. Joanna and Chris prepares the breakfast with all things local and homemade. It was great staying at the guest house and getting acquainted with such a kind and lovely couple.

Bayview Pines is beautiful, peaceful, and very well situated to explore the Mahone Bay and Lunenburg area. It was super comfortable esp. for a family. Joanna and Chris were wonderful, very helpful and great communicators. Their home-cooked hot breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and served in a beautiful room with a 360-degree view of the surrounding bays. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did!

Joanne and Chris were very pleasant and helpful. Chris made soma phenomenal breakfasts.

We booked all our accommodations for this trip through Booking.com and got good accommodations except for this one. The room was very tiny. It couldn't even have one easy chair as there was not room. With our luggage we could barely walk around the bed. I am sure the room was no more than 8 feet by 8 feet. It would have been nice if booking .com could have given more info on this room.

A beautiful property in a stunning location. The hosts were lovely and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and very comfortable. Beautifully decorated throughout. Hot drinks available all day and breakfasts were delicious...thanks Chris! Joanne and Chris were able to give us plenty of recommendations too. All in all "Top Notch!"

Only that we couldn't stay longer!!

Welcoming hospitality and a really good breakfast, as well as a lovely and helpful hostess who gave us some great tips on the area. Access to a self service area, that included a microwave, bottled water, umbrellas, beach towels and more, was also a nice plus.

We didn't love the dated bathroom with an offputting yellowing tub, nor the cobwebs here and there, but it was clean enough in general, especially if you care more about having lush gardens and nature close at hand.

Breakfasts were wonderful and well prepared and presented. Our hosts were convenial and cheerful, Our fellow travelers were a great addition to our stay, we had some lovely conversations over breakfast,

The 14+ stairs to our room; my knees were not happy with me for that; but what can you expect? There were other rooms with much less of a climb.

This inn is in a great location. Our rooms were beautiful comfortable and they've thought of all a traveler needs. The breakfasts are delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed talking with our host Joanna. Cute pup Harriet we will miss you! So peaceful and lovely we were sad to depart

Having to head home!

The view was gorgeous and the breakfasts were spectacular. Our hosts were appropriately friendly and easy to talk with. Highly recommended.

Our bathroom was down the hall, but not really a problem at all. The other 2 rooms on our floor had en suites, so it was a private bathroom only for us.
