Friendly staff. Booked a couple of days ahead of stay. It’s right by the beach and a good place to stay the night before flying out of Halifax. Continuing our laid back holiday rather than using a city hotel. We ate outside in a small area of patio looking along the beach. Bathrooms were good, beds very comfortable. We had two windows looking towards the sea. The other room faced inland. If we hadn’t eaten in we would have gone to the Trellis, where we’ve been on previous visits to NS.

It’s a bit old fashioned but I think for some people that adds to its charm. We were very happy to eat there but limited restaurants in walking distance.

The inn was charming, clean and comfortable furnished in a Victorian style. The location is great: right across the road from a sandy beach. Check in and check out were a breeze. The staff are friendly, efficient and helped us bring heavier luggage to our room.

Our rooms were on an upper floor and there was no elevator in our wing, so we needed some assistance bringing luggage up. Other than that it was great.

Great location across from the beach. Nice reception staff. Historic building with some interesting decor, and a lovely porch/outdoor seating area. Heard from other guests that dinner was delicious (need to order it a few days in advance).

Continental breakfast was unimpressive. Also, our room was pretty small, but perhaps other rooms are nicer.

We enjoyed a beautiful overnight stay. Wonderfully located across from Queensland beach. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The jetted tub felt so nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!!!

Excellent accommodation, room, bedding and cleanliness with beach across the road. We had a view of the bay from our window and could watch the sun set and rise. Our accommodation had a jacuzzi bath too.

Somebody really takes care and loves this place. The old furniture and decor is charming. The location is across the street from the beach. Very pretty views. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The French toast was delicious!! Merci!

Very little

It was right across the street from Queensland Public Beach and that was beautiful! We got the last room when we were booking 5 months in advance, it was a Queen bed. Room was bigger than expected. I called in advance and they added a small fridge in hallway and a coffee maker in room. Breakfast is extra but we didn’t partake. I would rate the bed itself 3/5. They provided new towels everyday but there was no room cleaning or refresh while we were there for 5 nights- they are still using COVID protocols. I was surprised since we just came from a hotel in Lunenburg that refreshed our room every day. Very polite and helpful person at front desk.

The location was excellent! Wonderful caretaker and actually upgraded our room as it was our anniversary. We could walk across the road and be at beautiful Queensland beach as well!

Would have liked a little breakfast option but otherwise beautiful place to stay! There was a mini fridge and coffee in the morning.
