Shweta was amazing. Her positive attitude even though she was working a double shift when I arrived and then back again in the morning made the entire stay worthwhile. When she realized I was traveling with my son and daughter, she upgraded our room to bigger beds for free. When I realized that I didn't have any cutlery for the food we brought, she provided it as well as plates and napkins! When I discovered the outlet in the room didn't work, she offered to change our room for us. I declined the change of room, so instead she personally delivered an extension cord so we could still have electricity, since maintenance works not be available until morning.

The broken electrical outlet was a bit of a bother.

The room was bigger than expected. We had a separate room with door for the second bedroom. The beds were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was a good variety, we all found something to eat each day. Staff were all lovely: we needed to extend our stay and they were very accommodating for this. Great location into downtown Halifax - 20-30minutes depending on traffic.

The swimming pool was very cold. Breakfast room is very small and sometimes the tables are all taken.

The location on a Halifax transit route was well-chosen. We were able to catch the bus into Halifax on two days;. The breakfast was good, but I needed to supplement this with some dairy-free yoghurt and blueberries from a supermarket (2 km away). Having a microwave and fridge was really a clincher for me.

Figuring out Canadian/Hotel customs regarding room cleaning. Leave the bed clear to get it made, leave the floor clear to get it vacuumed. But staff were always helpful and provided additional clothes hangers, and other items.

I really enjoyed the pool. The hotel room was nice and clean! The entire property itself (inside and out) was exceptionally clean,,, which was really a nice surprise. The location wasn't terrible and the people were all extremely friendly and chatty. Staff or guest.

Comfort Inn was outdated and some work could be done maintaining the inside of the building. ---Our fan in the bathroom made an odd noise whenever we turned the switch on to use said fan. The bathroom was also very small in size. Although, the facilities did include a deep bathtub which, I guess made up for the tight squeeze.

This hotel is located about a 10 to 15 minute drive out of downtown Halifax on the Bedford Road. Great view of the river across the street. We had a room on the 3rd floor that looked out at the river. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Good Wifi and free parking. The hot breakfast was very good, also yogurt, cereals, breads, coffee, juices and fresh fruit. The staff were very friendly and the kitchen staff kept the breakfast items well stocked. If in Halifax again, I would definitely stay here. Good value.

The only thing I can say here and it is a minor thing is that there is limited seating in the breakfast room but this was not a major issue.

The room was a standard hotel room, but was just what we expect from a comfort Inn. The breakfast was above average. The breakfast room was quite small for the size of the hotel; we had to wait a bit. However the food quality was better than I expected. Very good. We had a dog, and there was no problem with this. The staff were very pleasant. We were on the Bedford Highway which I know to be busy and I was concerned about street noise. Once in our room we didn't hear a thing. I was pleasantly surprised.

The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choices, hot fresh and the attendant did a great job refilling and keeping the area clean, always wiping and checking to see what was needed. I loved the view from the breakfast room and the front porch- amazing lake view. The entire place was very clean and I loved and appreciated ❤️ the daily room cleaning, making up the bed and fresh towels as my recent stays at other properties daily cleaning services had to be requested.

Well designed with plenty of outlets to power devices and a night light in the bathroom. Spacious room with comfortable king bed, good selection of hot and cold breakfast, and a coin operated laundry for guests ($4 each for washer and dryer)

Staff was excellent. Room had been recently renovated. Breakfast was well stocked and food was good.

Husband is in a wheel chair and the layout of the hotel made it necessary to go outside to get to the front desk. There was no cover over the other doors so we got soaked trying to get in and out during heavy rain. The breakfast room was too small and very cramped. Our room had no place to hang clothes and there were carpet tacks sticking up that were hard on bare feet.
