We spent 3 days at The Pebble B&B 1839 Armview Terrace, Halifax with the hosts Elizabeth and David. The house is very tastefully furnished, the hosts are very warm and friendly. The breakfast is prepared by individual arrangement and is simply wonderful! In particular, we benefited from the excellent recommendations for excursions in the surrounding area. We say "thank you" again and would love to come back...

Wow what a lovely place! Super beautiful B&B but oh so much more. Liz was an absolute pleasure to meet and deal with and makes a breakfast to die for! Bedroom was large, spotless, beautifully appointed and with a bed that felt like we were floating on air. 30 mins walk into centre of Halifax, really nice quiet location.

The room was so comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the sitting room. Liz, the proprietor was so friendly and welcoming. Next time I come to Halifax I’m staying at The Pebble Bed and Breakfast! You will not be disappointed. Oh, by the way, the breakfast’s were so scrumptious!!

This was the first accomodation we had booked on arrival into Halifax from the UK so we wanted it to be good. Without doubt The Pebble B&B lived up to our expectations. The whole accomodation is tastefully furnished to a superb standard with high regard to detail. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with lovely views out across the bay. The house is located in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood so it was great being able to stroll out in the mornings and evenings. Elizabeth, our host made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed our chats over tea and breakfasts! It is clear that she has worked hard over the years to provide exceptional accommodation with a professional and personable service.

Nothing - we would recommend this accomodation without reservation. We would happily return to The Pebble B&B next time we visit Nova Scotia.

This is a unique property you won’t want to leave. Liz makes her guests feel completely at home and every moment spent at The Pebble is a joy. Liz and David’s house is stunning and tastefully decorated, with perfectly designed spaces throughout. Rooms are large, with beautiful en-suites (The Pebble’s tub is magnificent to soak into after a day enjoying Halifax!), Molton Brown amenities are found in every room and perfectly folded, fresh Frette linens are aplenty. The guests’ lounge and outdoor spaces are as charming. The “pièce de résistance” has to be Liz’ home-cooked breakfasts every morning - she even made special dishes for me with no dairy or gluten to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I did choose to indulge in Liz’ scones however, made from scratch and absolutely scrumptious. Liz is the quintessential hostess and she takes care of every minor detail to offer her guests a perfect stay. Don’t forget to ask Liz what the story behind the name “The Pebble” is…. You won’t regret it and will be transported back in Ireland for a unique and truly romantic love story!
