Room was clean, comfortable and newly renovated. Guest laundry was a bonus for us. We didn’t have to go to a laundromat. The only thing we were disappointed in was our room was on the second floor ( no elevator). As I have mobility issues and had requested a ground floor room, this was a challenge with the stairs. When we brought this to the attention of the person checking us in, she told us all king rooms are upstairs and didn’t even try and accommodate us with another room. Other than this we were satisfied with our stay.

Room was fine. Clean and well appointed and suitable to our needs. No complaints there.

Needed to have a credit card for the damage deposit which I didn't have on me but I had the cash ( $250.00) to cover it. They would not accept that and were not gracious about it. In the end my guest had to use his card which involved personal questions from the staff which I found embarrassing. I have a local address so the cash would have worked even if I had to come back in a day or two for it. No other option was offered as the need of a credit card was in the booking info. MY credit option is on my bank card which their machine will not accept. There were no words of apology or commiseration about my plight which is a turn off about returning again.

I like the location because it is not directly in the hectic overgrown traffic grid of Halifax. Bedford is a sweet area with groceries, Tim Hortons and lots of independent restaurants. The checkin and checkout staff were very nice. The bathroom was very nice with good lighting and a great shower and bathtub. Very clean.

My pillows were so packed and big that they hurt my neck to sleep on. The room only had low level lighting.

Room size and cleanliness... full size refrigerator, microwave oven, clean bathroom, great location. Easy access from Halifax city center and 102 highway. Even liked the old-school 1969-era sign out at the street.... DON'T EVER REPLACE IT, RESTORE IT if it fades more...

Not much...can't think of anything that I did not like. We also attended the Timberlea location on this 7 day trip and were pleasantly surprised to see that it was the same ownership .

Very clean and comfortable. Clean room, location and the house keeping staff was the only friendly person on staff thank you for being kind.

The fact of holding a deposit of $250 on my credit card. If I had of know this I would not have stayed. I wanted to pay with debit but it automatically chages your credit card. Front desk staff wasn't very friendly and didn't make me feel welcomed made me feel like I was a bother to them when I asked them to hold a key for latrer for my senior mother who was out with her grandchildren. Seriously what damages did they think 2 seniors were going to make at this hotel to hold $250 on my credit card? Also not enough towels and face cloths .The room was cold upon arrival and the heat even on high wasn't enough to keep the room at a good temperature.

The staff(s) was very friendly and helpful. Room was very cleaned and comfortable. To find a location to eat , is quite far away from the motel.

To find a place to eat, was to far away, where to motel is location. It should be be a lot closer to the motel. Everything seems to be O.K. The rooms and the staff(s).

Booked for family members travelling across Canada. They endorsed very comfortable beds and could not get over the cleanliness of the rooms and facility. Staff at the front desk were extremely helpful in accommodating any requests (Despite having many additional guests at the hotel for property restoration) and were very friendly. Location is great for accessing Bedford and getting to the 102 to access Halifax.

Family members did not express any downsides of staying at this motel.

The room was very clean and the staff were all wonderful. I liked that there was a full size fridge, cabinets and kitchen sink in the room as well as a small table and chairs. It would be great if they had a toaster, microwave/stovetop and a few dishes so you could fix breakfast or a quick snack.

This motel was very handy for our visit. There was no noise from the highway even though we had the end unit. Turning left on to the highway in the morning was a bit tricky. The room was comfortable. It was close to a shopping centre if you needed anything.

It was recently renovated so it was super clean. A nice kitchenette and laundry facilities on the property. We were able to park right in front of the door.

Receptionist was a bit gruff. $250 deposit for pets and/or smoking. I wasn’t charged but -wow that was excessive!
