I have stayed at this property multiple times, the staff is fantastic, the breakfast always has great options.

I am still waiting for a response from either the property or Booking.com regarding my early checkout. A family emergency came up and I checked out Nov 10 at 3:30, rather than on Nov 11th. I am fine if I have to pay the full amount, as it was very late to clean and reset the room, but I would like some form of review, or acknowledgement of receipt of my message regarding the same. other notes- no kettle in the room. -the breakfast area is challenging to navigate when it is busy.

We stayed at the Residence Inn for about a week leading up to our wedding. The staff were exceptional. When kind gentlemen at the front desk learned we were in town to get married, they changed our room so we had a view of the Harbour. On our wedding night, we came back to find our room decorated with balloons and handwritten notes from the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff wishing us well. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special. We are forever grateful!

Proximity to Argyle is amazing but does make for some noisy nights. Earplugs recommended on weekends and industry night (Mondays).

Rooms are huge. Very clean. I like the convenience of a kitchenette...even with stove elements!! . I didn't need it this time as my stay was only for one night but this would be fantastic for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Parking was easily accessible. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Very short walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the convention centre. It was a fantastic spot for convenience in the city.

Price was quite high for one night. Also, there were 2 rooms booked with the reservation and I thought it was strange that the rooms weren't booked closer together. They were on separate floors.

The breakfast was descent and they had GF options for me. The 2 bedroom suite worked out perfectly me, my husband, baby, toddler, and parents. The bathrooms were big - big enough to fit a pack & play, so it was like having an extra bedroom for our toddler.

Noisy! There are lots of bars nearby and the windows do not seem to block out any of the noise. You could hear people out partying until 2-3am. Luckily we had our babies with us and brought white noise machines that helped block out the noise.

Staff are ALL polite and respectable, from the restaurant to the front desk. Window can be open a bit to allow fresh air ventilation.

The laundry payment can be improved, nowadays a days, it's difficult to find 1 dollar coins and 25 cents coins. The coins then could be readily available in the reception, if not a dummy coin that can be paid at the front desk. I ended up going to the restaurant and pizza house in the neighborhood at 11 PM to ask for coins because reception didn't have it and neither myself.

Nice size room. Full kitchen. Great location (sort of - more below) for walking in town, restaurants etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast.

Location - across the street from bars and night sounds - a little noisy on the Grafton st side.

We love the location. we took in a Lacrosse game and had a nice meal out.

The parking situation is terrible. To find a parking spot to check in is impossible. You should be able to get access to the parking garage when you arrive.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating in the morning. I saw them refilling the hot food often. They were always in the dining area picking up dirty dishes and wiping down tables. I was there on a long weekend in the summer and it was busy. The reception personnel welcomed you when you entered and were always at the reception desk. I felt safe and secure in this facility. I would stay at this hotel again.

The kitchens were well equipped but as I am a tea drinker and not coffee having a kettle in the room rather than having to have one brought to my room would be better.

The Residence Inn is in a perfect location to see the sights of Downtown Halifax. The rooms/suites are large and comfortable and we appreciated the separate sitting area and sofa bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. All in all though, a pleasant stay. Thank you.

The only downside was the cost of the carpark ($30 inc tax for 1 night) and the breakfast was poor. Given that we participated in breakfast at 6.30am we might have expected the hot food to be "hot" It wasn't even warm!

The breakfast was acceptable. Many of the items run out before closing.

We wanted to watch the US Open in the room but didn’t have ESPN on cable. We had to watch it in the breakfast room.
