The rooms are well laid out, with plenty of space. When we were checking in, they told us there would be some sports teams there on the weekend, so they put us on the top floor away from them. I found the beds fairly firm (but I do like softer mattresses). We had an issue with the heating/cooling system in our room the last night (came back to it being 37.5 degrees C, with the thermostat marked off, but the system pumping in hot air), called down to the front desk and they sent someone up right away. He wasn't able to figure out what was wrong but they did offer to let us move to another room - we opted to just open windows. They have a coffee station and a water bottle refill station in the foyer, which was nice.

Fairly close to a highway so if you aren't used to frequent traffic noise, it gets a bit loud. Housekeeping came in one morning and put in new towels, but didn't make the bed or restock coffee etc. With the heating issue, it would have been nicer if the windows could open more.

The property is very well located, next to a large plaza with plenty of shops and restaurants. Parking is available at all times, everything was very clean, and the room itself was excellent — quiet, comfortable, and well equipped.

However, we were quite disappointed with the front desk service. The receptionist who assisted us was unfriendly and never smiled. Unfortunately, it felt like she was doing us a favor by helping us, which left us with a very negative impression. We were aware that breakfast was not included, but considering the price of the rooms, we believe that offering complimentary breakfast would be reasonable and expected at this level.

The stay here was very good. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of parking on site. The gym was very basic but I still got a good workout. There are some restaurant options just across the street. The drive to downtown was not long. The chromecast in the room was a nice feature to have; we were able to stream a movie at the end of a long day of travel. The staff was very quick to help us out.

The mattresses are comfortable ; however I feel the edge of the mattress droops a bit which you should be aware of.

The property is surrounded by tons of amenities and is located right by the main hwy to get to other areas of Halifax. It is clean, comfortable and great staff .

I only have a few small issues , first there is no continental breakfast , which most hotels offer now. The second which is not a massive deal but also found in other hotels there is ice machines on each floor. This only had it on the fourth floor. More of a convenience thing as I witnessed a mom with three young kids taking all of them to the fourth floor for ice . We did stay here as we have for years when my daughters played soccer in Halifax but I did notice that Air B&B’s are a lot cheaper then hotel rooms a night but we stayed loyal and returned. Thanks so much!

It's a great location as we were visiting for a retirement party in Hammonds Plains.

We had a two queen beds. The bed we chose to sleep in was very uncomfortable, it didn't sound right and when you got into bed, you sunk to the middle of course after a long day I'm not getting up in the middle of the night to switch beds. But we do love the hotel and actually have a stay coming up this coming Sunday night. Hoping that the room we get has a much more comfortable bed like the first time we were there.

Hotel was very clean. Rooms cleaned everyday. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Good sized rooms and large bathroom. Free parking was a big plus. Quite far from the city centre but bus station only 5 minute walk away with tickets priced at $2.75 per trip with a 90 minute transfer period or $7 for a full day ticket. Close to some places for eating and shops very walkable. Breakfast not included but available from the restaurant attached to the hotel and reasonably priced.

Was a good 40 minute bus ride away from the city centre so definitely not walkable. Hotel encouraged re-using towels yet had nowhere for them to hang to dry and even if you did hang them up ie over a chair, they just took them anyway and replaced them. Not really a major problem but if you want to avoid changing towels everyday then provide somewhere to hang them up.

We ate at the restaurant attached. We brought a 99 year old aunt and 96 year old uncle there for supper Thursday night. I had to go to our room to get an extra sweater for the uncle and myself as the AC was sooo cold. My chowder was excellent. The other meals were acceptable Sadly when I ran up to our room (306) to get the sweaters, my key didn’t work so I had to go back down to the desk to get it fixed.

I would have liked a mirror in the bathroom that I could pick up to see the back of my head. Other hotels often have them. I’m old and often put my hair in a bun but need to see the back to get it right.

The property was extremely clean and quiet, upon check in the receptionist advised me that there was a hockey team staying at the hotel and to ensure I had a quiet night she moved me to another floor. This was very thoughtful and shows how the staff care about their clients stay

A very minor thing but in the morning I took a shower and the shower head had seen better days and the water coming out of it was just a trickle. I mentioned this to the front desk staff and they said they would have maintenance look into it

We stayed at this hotel for one night with our family and felt the value was very good for the price. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a smooth and pleasant stay without any issues.

Honestly, nothing major! There was a very slight damp smell in the corridor at times, although everything appeared clean. It wasn’t bothersome, but I mention it just as a suggestion for improvement.

Very nice and clean, comfortable beds with nice linens. Staff was professional and kind and when we asked someone to come attend a problem with the sink it was fixed very quickly. Liked the free parking and although breakfast was not included there was a restaurant in the building.

We could hear people in the hallway.
