Extremely clean and comfortable. Modern furnishings. Two choices for window coverings with more or less light. Larger sized bar fridge and microwave in room's coffee nook. Modern chargers/plugs that are very easy to access. Wish all hotel rooms did this! Convenient location off the highway in Dartmouth. Very glad we stayed here and not in the chaotic traffic of Halifax itself.

Toilet paper and tissues are super cheap, thin and rough. I mentioned this to the front desk and she said they've heard the complaint before but are limited to IHG branded choices. This may sound like a little thing but adds up to frustration on multiple night stays. Also doesn't fit with the overall upscale feel of the rest of the room and facility.

Everything was perfect!! I’m so tired of staying at lousy hotels so this was such a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was wonderful, the kids loved the pool and splash pad, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely. The location was great. Everything you could want close by. I felt really bad for the staff. There was a hockey team staying and the parents were so loud and rude. They didn’t care about anyone but themselves. You could tell the staff were dealing with them but they didn’t care. We were very lucky though that we couldn’t hear them in our room. I’m really sorry the staff had to deal with that but they were trying really hard.

We experienced issues with a noisy air conditioner on our first night. The next day, we spoke with the front desk, and they sent Mr. Dean to inspect the unit. He quickly identified the source of the noise being the outside wind blowing and knew exactly what to do. He adjusted the venting system by opening the air conditioning vent, thus transforming the high-pitched noise into a softer, more gentle sound, making it much more bearable. Thanks to Dean’s help, we enjoyed a peaceful and quiet sleep on our second night. Thank you, Dean, for your expertise and assistance. You were incredibly helpful!

Pancake machine frequently broken.

It has everything you need to stay in a 3-star hotel, such as comfortable beds & great pillows, microwave & fridge, great new bathroom. Besides, I would like to highlight the existence of a small gym (with cable cross-over) and warm pool with slides (my son was excited about it). Delicious breakfast with fried eggs, bacon, and pancakes energized our family for a long trip to Digby and whale watching.

Absence of a handheld shower (extremely important for my wife).

The Location is not far from the airport, food was good, not far from the mall & grocery store and the downtown area. Staff was friendly and the place is clean and I feel the area is safe as well and family friendly.

The construction going on but I believe it will be added to the betterment of the place and it will be more attractive when it's done and will give a modern look as well..

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was a huge hit for our son and daughter, and the little splash area. It was great for both ages. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Breakfast in the morning was great with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff were friendly. They accommodated us when we couldn't leave the same day due to weather, which I was very impressed with.

I struggle with the soap dispensers being on the wall - I understand they refill them, which I love, but my 10 year old could barely reach them to wash his hands. Only other thing I didn't like was the egg omelet - didn't taste the best, was dry and stale tasting.

They have the BEST breakfast

I didn’t like that one we arrived we were late checking in ti set up a b-day party celebration and they couldn’t find our reservation until WE showed them the email. I’m not too confident that it would have made easy on us if we didn’t. Then once we leaving the tried to charge us for something we never got from the lobby store ( we know better) especially when we have our own food and treats. So I’m hoping I was refunded already on that. Staff was amazing though

The breakfast was nice variety and the good bag was a great idea to get Me in the road with one less stop for a coffee/ snack thanks 😀👌🏾

The TV. Would not change channel, the pool was not open . Lotsa of ice on walkway to vehicles ( no salt or sand) in sight. I was parked in blue handicap area and it was very slippery icy., due to freezing rain coldness in early a m.

Kids loved the pool!! It was so busy but we enjoyed the quiet later in the evening. The breakfast was also a big hit. The cinnamon buns are the best say my kids haha. The room was very nice too!

The pool ran out of towels, and we were freezing and had to go up to our room soaking wet. I did go to front desk but they said a lot of people brought them to their rooms so they had to collect them all to be washed. It was sucky though. Will bring our own beach towels next time.

Bright, simple, spacious but pleasing decor. Staff was always cleaning. Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. Didn't even have to ask for supplies. Quiet!

Frig didn't have a freezer for my ice packs. I use ice packs for pain relief! The 1 bed have a bad mattress. One side of the mattress dropped lower than the other side.
