we rented 2 rooms. 1 for my elderly father and his caregiver and the other for my spouse and i. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were very attentive to any requests that i requested. The view was amazing and reflected well on the pictures supplied on the website. The restaurants were plentiful and close to our rental. Scenery was picturesque and the friendliness of the locals made the East Coast stay much more memorable. i would highly rate this rental if you are looking to stay at Peggys Cove.

There is nothing that could have been improved on. I have treaveled extensively throughout the world and this stay rates at the top of my list. Dont miss out on this gem of a property.

The view was unbeatable, we spent a lot of time just admiring it on the common patio that was provided. The room was clean, and cleverly constructed so be easy to clean entirely. The staff was very friendly and helpful in general. The location was great, although, because we were on foot, it was still a 45 min walk to any interesting touristic spot.

Beware of the tap water. It's drinkable, but has a strong taste of iron. Aside from that, everything was amazing. Best vacations ever for anybody that wants a quiet retreat.

Great waterfront location and nice to have the waterfront common area out back. Great spot for sunsets and some very foggy mornings! Also very good spot to access Peggy’s Cove and even Halifax.

Be aware - the space is small. We chose the least expensive room, which is shown in photos with a 2 seat bar at the window (no balcony) and the shower in the corner of the room. It’s essentially an efficiency. This is room 6 (they number from left to right, viewing the parking lot.). It’s also the middle room of the hotel so it’s wedge shaped and very tight for even two people. If we did it again, we’d have reserved one of the larger rooms. The other downside to this room is that the parking spaces for each room are not labeled so we often returned to find that others had parked in a way that squeezed us out of a spot near our room. Fortunately, we didn’t spend much time at the hotel so not a big discomfort.

Beautiful location, quaint decor. Very clean. Quiet. Nice sounds of the sea.

Our room lacked a chair. The two barstools did not cut it. Other rooms had a chair. There was only one chair on the balcony. Two would have been nice. My major complaint is that only one of the three rooms that I booked for our group had a balcony and from the description on booking.com, I was expecting all three rooms to have a balcony. This was awkward for the group, and I ended up refunding the people in the rooms without the balcony the difference in price. It was not the hotel's fault but clearly stating it on booking.com would have been nice.

I loved this place. An old time motel but all the rooms are modernized. Friendly check-in, nice room but the view from your back balcony is gorgeous. Minutes from Peggy’s Cove. Make sure to pick up supplies as the closest grocery is 20-30 mins. There is a convenience store within one minute with some basic groceries such as eggs and cream etc. minutes from Peggy’s cove. Really liked this place a lot.

Internet is shared in the area so sometimes if it’s busy a bit of trouble but mostly fine.

The location was excellent. There was a variety of stores, Wal-Mart, Superstore, restaurants, etc, just 20 minutes away . There were also restaurants within walking distance. The bay was just outside our window, there were chairs so you could sit and watch the boats and sea life on the water, as well as the sunset. Absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, the pillow were like clouds, the best sleep I have had in a long time. I would recommend staying there and will return again in the future.

The room was clean, spacious and water view was a nice bonus. Quiet and beautiful view. Nice to be able to sit at the waters edge. Close to Peggy's Cove for our sundown and sunrise photos.

Although a lovely property that exceeded my expectations with regard to how modern, clean and beautiful view, it was one of the most expensive stays along the way, given there was not any additional amenities like inclusive breakfast.

There was no breakfast. It is a motel.

Booking.com screwed up our reservation, booking us for only three nights when we had asked for four. Luckily, there was a room available that allowed us to stay the extra day. When I booked for Monday to Thursday, I wanted Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night and Thursday night - not to check out on Thursday.

We had the delight of staying at the Clifty Cove Motel, just outside Peggy’s Cove. We were able to book a room with a balcony, and it was absolutely worth it—the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over the water. The host gave us an awesome recommendation for dinner. The view, the peaceful setting, and the simplicity of the place made it a memorable stop. I’d gladly stay again

The view from the room across the bay was exceptional and we loved the wonderful sunsets. It was very convenient for Peggy’s Cove. Across the road, within walking distance was a lovely restaurant, outstandingly clean serving very good food at a reasonable price. The room had great seating both inside and out on the balcony and the large bed was comfortable and made for a good nights sleep. The bathroom was good.

Whilst it was clear from the description that the motel is not geared up for self catering, it was disappointing to find only paper and flimsy plastic beakers, despite there being an ice bucket by the side of them. A couple of glasses would have been appreciated along with a couple of mugs to make a decent cup of tea or coffee. No spoons either. Somewhat basic for the price in this respect.
