The location was great for us! On the road to Peggy's Cove, not too far from either Halifax or Lunenburg, perfect for day trips. Lovely building with cozy rooms, lovely wood floors and beautiful antique furniture.

According to the booking form, our room did not have a meal option. So I thought that no breakfast was available which was not an issue since we travel with car coolers on road trips. But a lovely breakfast weas available for a reasonable price, and I was disappointed that I had misunderstood the booking form!

Friendly staff. Booked a couple of days ahead of stay. It’s right by the beach and a good place to stay the night before flying out of Halifax. Continuing our laid back holiday rather than using a city hotel. We ate outside in a small area of patio looking along the beach. Bathrooms were good, beds very comfortable. We had two windows looking towards the sea. The other room faced inland. If we hadn’t eaten in we would have gone to the Trellis, where we’ve been on previous visits to NS.

It’s a bit old fashioned but I think for some people that adds to its charm. We were very happy to eat there but limited restaurants in walking distance.

The inn was charming, clean and comfortable furnished in a Victorian style. The location is great: right across the road from a sandy beach. Check in and check out were a breeze. The staff are friendly, efficient and helped us bring heavier luggage to our room.

Our rooms were on an upper floor and there was no elevator in our wing, so we needed some assistance bringing luggage up. Other than that it was great.

Lovely rooms, near a quiet beach that we walked to for sunset. No breakfast was included, which was fine and we knew that ahead of time. Comfy bed.

Inn is on a steep hill, and required us to climb steep stairs to get to our room. Looks like there might be some lower level rooms that weren't upstairs so if climbing stairs is a problem, ask about that.

Great location across from the beach. Nice reception staff. Historic building with some interesting decor, and a lovely porch/outdoor seating area. Heard from other guests that dinner was delicious (need to order it a few days in advance).

Continental breakfast was unimpressive. Also, our room was pretty small, but perhaps other rooms are nicer.

Location is amazing, literally a 2min walk to Queensland beach. Trail directly behind property great for biking.

Definitely need a car or bike if you plan on visiting grocery store or restaurants nearby. Just a little too far to walk.

We enjoyed a beautiful overnight stay. Wonderfully located across from Queensland beach. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The jetted tub felt so nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!!!

Excellent accommodation, room, bedding and cleanliness with beach across the road. We had a view of the bay from our window and could watch the sun set and rise. Our accommodation had a jacuzzi bath too.

Somebody really takes care and loves this place. The old furniture and decor is charming. The location is across the street from the beach. Very pretty views. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The French toast was delicious!! Merci!

Charming staff, great location. The room was spotless and smelled like fresh laundry. We found it to be really quiet as well. Super comfortable and would definitely stay there again.
