In a beautiful setting Historical house dating back to 1885 Clean cotton sheets + comfortable bed Continental breakfast included Friendly staff and nice & quiet Netflix available Italian restaurant on site Safe & secure (doors locked 9pm-9am)... After hours access to guests with key fob
Keeping in mind this is a 140 year old house; these are not dislikes as much as things to keep in mind... Smaller room with very small bathroom and not many electrical outlets Stairs only access to upper floor We arrived 30 minutes after check-in time, but room not "inspected" yet Fridge was on the fritz

Gorgeous view of the Bracebridge River. Private patio. The guests were all quiet. Close to all amenities. Board games inside and a giant chess board outside to entertain guests. Child friendly.
There was no view of the falls due to tree coverage. Their "continental breakfast" consisted of a bag of bagels, a shelf of stale muffins, and some croissants wrapped in saran wrap. The section we stayed in was being redone and smelled of water damage and new paint which set my sons allergies off.

Breakfast was okay, typical continental. Coffee was good.
We returned to the hotel at 9:00 p.m. and were able to secure the second last parking spot. Since we gave our license place number I would assume that there has been an issue with outsiders parking in your spots. I don't know what we would have done if there hadn't been any spots left. Thankfully that wasn't a problem. I am not sure if the absence of TV was a temporary situation. Netflix was provided, even though we weren't watching any.

The room was immaculate as was the bathroom. The room was extremely large and well equipped with microwave and refrigerator. The view from our room was fantastic and we enjoyed taking advantage of the private balcony. We did not take advantage of the hotel's restaurant so we cannot comment on it although it seemed quite busy for a Monday night. You can walk to the falls and downtown from the hotel. There were a couple of hiccups with breakfast but to be fair we came at the very end of the service. We will definitely return and we can highly recommend this hotel.
I think the decks off the rooms need some attention but realize this is very common as hotels are trying to recover from the lockdown. Nonetheless the decks and deck furniture were very clean.

Loved the king room. Loved having access to a small balcony from our room. Bed was comfortable! Was so happy we were able to check in early free of charge. Rain put a damper on our plans!
Wish some of the branches on the trees were removed, so our river view wasn't blocked as much as it was. Was really looking forward to breakfast before making a 6 hour trip home. There were croissants, bagels, bread, cereal, yogurt, apples, and granola bars. Coffee, tea, orange juice, milk, and almond milk. It was fresh, but disappointed, no hot breakfast.

I had a delightful stay at the Inn at the Falls in Bracebridge. From the moment I checked in until my check-out time, I was impressed by the overall experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance of the inn was cozy and inviting. However, there were a couple of minor issues that I feel could be improved upon. Firstly, I noticed that the bread in the breakfast area seemed a bit stale, which was a bit disappointing. Fresh bread would have enhanced the breakfast experience. Additionally, I couldn't help but notice that the carpets in the rooms could benefit from more regular vacuuming. As someone with allergies, I am sensitive to dust and debris in the carpet, and it is evident to me when it has not been thoroughly cleaned. I believe that more frequent vacuuming would greatly improve the overall cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Despite these minor issues, I must say that the Inn at the Falls is a wonderful place to stay, especially considering its proximity to the natural wonders of the Muskoka area. The charm of the inn, combined with the beauty of the surrounding nature, makes it a truly special destination for a relaxing getaway. I would recommend this inn to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Muskoka.

The breakfast was continental, and offered the usual basics. However, with my husband being on a special diet, there were no options to account for this and we ended up having to go out for breakfast.
The rooms were very satisfactory, and the view was nice, however, they were a little small, and there was little room to store luggage except for the closet. There were no drawers to store articles that we were not able to hang. The bathroom had little shelf space as well.

Friendly helpful staff and the wonderful greeting upon arrival. Comfortable, clean room. Quaint setting on the river, with views from decks and terraces. In house restaurant, and continental style breakfast. Visit from local wildlife was an added bonus.
The gardens were overgrown, and the buildings need some TLC. But I do believe there are plans in the works to address these issues.

Very cute building with historical context and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. The downtown area is very close and there is a well-stocked grocery store a short drive away.
The rooms were quite cold (you can adjust it with the remote, but it still seemed cold) and there is a lot of light that can make it difficult to sleep if you prefer a dark room.

We were given a wrap around porch end room. We were there for our 30th wedding anniversary. We have stayed numerous times over 25 years and we like the location and value. Beds are comfy, that's important. Included continental breakfast, that's appreciative to start your day.
Not enough toilet paper and it was like sand paper. Pillows are hard.
