Location is great and it was excellent value for the area. House is charming, hosts are very friendly, and breakfast was satisfying. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests. I would definitely stay here again.

It is an old house so rooms are small and there is very little soundproofing between the rooms. You really do need to be courteous neighbours! Parking is somewhat limited so if the B&B is full, one car is likely to be boxed in. Not a problem unless that person has to leave early! If you do, I would consider notifying the hosts in advance.

The hosts Ang and Bill were so kind and welcoming. The property was very well located (walking distance to the wharf and the main street). The street was so quiet so we were able to get some good rest. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast on the first morning of our stay was omelette with veggies and cheese, and toast. Second morning was french toast with Ang's amazing homemade wild blueberry jam. A wonderful peaceful stay, would definitely recommend!

We didn't realize spare toilet paper was out in the hallway, but quickly located it when one of us went out to ask for more. A silly detail but I did have a little moment of panic 🤣

The breakfast was fresh, and delicious (we had French toast). They asked about allergies, and were happy to accommodate. I love the little things they did; like the fresh cut up fruit to start with, the individual syrup, and the coffee/tea/juice options. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. We were on our honeymoon and this was a stopover for one night on our way to an all inclusive resort. Angela and Bill made it extra special, and we are extremely thankful to them for that.

Walking distance both from the waterfront and the city center, this B&B is strategically located in a calm residential area. I can't speak highly enough about the hosts, who made me feel at home, that's what I call superlative spirit of service. They were extremely helpful guiding me to restaurants and things to do/visit but also offered great conversations when I gave them the opportunity. Thank you so much, one of those places I will remember for life!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Spruce. Bill and Angela welcomed us like we were family. We felt right at home. We found the accommodations to be be clean, spacious and very comfortable. The best part of our stay was the delicious breakfast and the cheerful conversations with the owner. We will definitely be returning the next time we travel to Gravenhurst. THANK YOU so very much!

Everything was great.

The location was perfect; not far from the Warf and the downtown area. The home decor was superb and my room was comfy and just plain beautiful. The room also had an ensuite bathroom. I appreciate that it was quiet, and that the parking was easily accessible. The breakfast far exceeded my expectations! Fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and a delicious large veggie omlette. I will definitely be back!! Thank you

There was nothing I didn't like!

Flexible owners (we had a late night - was no problem getting in, we kept it quite), room was amazing, comfortable and even had a private ensuite bath, just a little too close to 3 other guest rooms to consider it "romantic" (wasn't a concern for us anyway).

It was my first time using a B&B, wasn't sure what to expect but it seemed odd to not have more interaction with our host when we got there

I liked the atmosphere, the cleanliness, how tranquil and well-kept this house was. I cherished every moment we stayed there. The family who owns the house are truly delightful, and I hope to return as soon as possible. Blue spruce is a pleasant walk from Gravenhurst's boardwalk and city centre. We happened to be there on a day when there was a farmers market, which operates on Wednesdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and it was a wonderful experience. I liked how well-organized the blue spruce house is.

They are a lovely couple, very welcoming and the breakfast was fabulous ! The bed was very comfortable as well.

The air conditioning is not sufficient to reach the upstairs rooms. We had trouble sleeping because it was too warm even with a ceiling fan and another small fan on the floor by the vent. Seems by the extra fan that they knew about the problem in advance.

They made me veggie omelette with cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. It was a good heart breakfast. Ange and Bill were lovely hosts and easy to talk to. The room is clean and smells nice. You could tell that they take good care of their property so much. Thank you so much for hosting me Ange and Bill. Eunice :)
