-Welcoming and friendly owner, even though it was after 22:00 when we arrived -Very clean room and bathroom -Large room with a dresser, a small coffee maker and supplies, nice seating area and flat-screen TV -A good fridge and microwave -A really good air-conditioning/heating unit with adjustable temperature and fan. It was a hot day/night and the A/C worked beautifully -A window that opened -A very comfortable pillow-top bed

-The fridge did not have a freezer compartment. -On a busy road (just north of highway 401), so if the window is open, it may be a little noisy. If the window is closed, the room is quiet.

My wife and I recently traveled from Ontario to Newfoundland in an electric vehicle, staying at economy motels such as yours, along the way. We were rather disappointed that no economy motels provided overnight EV charging. I would highly recommend that economy motel owners consider installing Level 2 240 volt EV chargers of approximately 30-40 amp capacity connected to a network such as FLO or Chargepoint. The network would collect the cost through their network RFID card or app to compensate the motel owner. A reasonable charge of about $1.50/hr. would be much more attractive to me, then staying at a luxury motel and paying $50 to $100 more per night and receiving “free” charging for approximately $10 worth of EV charging.

Surprisingly spacious, newly renovated room with modern, solid, spacey furniture and equipped with kitchenette which our family always appreciate. Soft mattresses (if you like it). Quiet area, despite of being close to a big street. Quiet A/C unit, good wifi, Petro-Canada across the street and Tims around the corner for urgent needs.

Even for the summer season, way overpriced for a motel in the middle of nowhere. Keeping little maintenance would be great - for example, we got a squeaky door to the bathroom and slow water flush in the bathroom sink. Surprisingly, there is no separate bin for the recycling - it's a pity, as more than half of our garbage bin could be recycled. No toilet brush, no TV remote/instructions on how to operate TV. Quite empty walls - adding some paintings/decor in the room, and shelves/racks and decor in the bathroom would make it more cozy and functional.

The room was very nice. Spacious; modern furnishings; very clean; quiet. Convenient location close to the highway. Easy booking online, and our room was upgraded which gave our family of 4 a little more room!

The advertised breakfast was no longer offered bc of covid, so understandable. The lamps and overhead lights were all very bright, would have preferred at least a dimmable optional so that we didnt have to turn off everything when the kids went to sleep

Confortable room. Shower was great, nice pressure and not slippery. Location was relatively quiet. Little farmers produce market steps away.

Steps up to room were a little high and should maybe have a hand rail.

We found this motel very nice for the price. Handy location to food (A&W) and drinks (Tim Hortons). They allowed us a special place to park our boat. Quiet setting, we will probably be back again!

Everything was fine

Besides what is above evaluated, the owner is a very well educated person and helpful.

The location was good for our needs, close to the downtown and lots of restaurants nearby.

It met our expectations

Clean, reliable internet, showers were hot with lots of water pressure.

Room was small

The Royal Napaniee was in the right location for our activities. We would stay there again if we needed to be in Napanee.

It was exactly as I had expected.
