The rooms were pretty big compared to other options, considering I was traveling alone for work I had a great time staying there. They had a mini fridge and even a macro wave which is really rare! The quality and cleanness was definitely incredible I think the price is really cheap for what they provide. The staff were supper kind and helping they even served coffee in the lobby. Overall I had a great experience I would totally come back

This was a nice place to stay, convenient to everything in Kingston. There was no charge for our dogs to stay and we were on the ground floor, handy to take the dogs out. Also the room was not carpeted which was great for the dogs also. And there was grass and walkways/sidewalks suitable for a short dog walk early morning. Although there was no onsite restaurant, there were free muffins every morning (3 kinds) and free coffee and a variety of teas at all times. ( also close to a Tim Hortens and a convenience store). Our room was clean, a nice size - 2 Queen beds -and a good sized bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Properties location is good. Staff are very friendly, facility is very clean and Rooms are very clean. I did not bring an animal with me this time but I love seeing pet friendly hotels It’s always a plus. and Motel 6 was very affordable.

The only problem I have with the motel is the beds. They are extremely uncomfortable. I tossed and turned all night and it feels like my body is broken the next morning. everything else is excellent.

I cannot emphasize this enough. It was, by far, the cleanest, most comfortable, and nicest-smelling motel I've probably stayed. When I said it surpassed our expectations, I would expect less care to detail for the price of their rooms, but here, the crew went above and beyond. The clerk at the desk was the nicest person I've met, super friendly, and welcomed us with a wide smile, even when we arrived very late in the evening. That didn't stop him from making jokes, greeting us with stories, and making us feel really welcomed.

This is an excellent place to stay on a budget. I have stayed here many times, for stays between one night and three weeks, and will always come back. Highlights: - clean rooms, and spacious rooms for price - well appointed rooms with microwave, mini fridge - firm but comfortable beds with comfy pillows - complimentary tea/coffee and pastries in AM - friendly and accommodating staff - free parking on hotel lot - convenient location for travellers stopping for the night, close to gas stations and the highway - despite location, has always been a quiet stay for me with minimal road or guest noise at night I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a no-frills safe place to stay, and for the price it absolutely cannot be beat. As a solo female traveller, I have always felt safe here. Staff are very accommodating of late check-in and are friendly and informative.

So long as you go in expecting a budget hotel, you won’t be disappointed. The hotel has limited amenities. The elevator is old and slow, which isn’t a problem but doesn’t leave a great first impression. The only two issues with the rooms are that the shower water pressure is middling, though serviceable, and the rooms don’t have a lot of storage for clothes (inconvenient for long stays). Again, for the price, these are minor issues!

The location is perfect. Less than 5 minutes off the 401. Perfect for an overnight stay. The staff (as always) were welcoming and efficient. The room was simple but clean. The bed was very comfortable. Even though my room faced the 401 I didn’t hear a thing through the windows.

The shower squealed while I was taking a shower. I am surprised that it didn’t wake anyone up. I did report this to the front desk. He wrote it down and said they would look into it.

The property was exactly what you need for a quick stay or if you’re a traveler who doesn’t spend much time at their hotel. It was very clean, modern, staff were incredibly friendly, and had a small and quick grab and go breakfast area. Conveniently located right off the highway, its easy to quickly stop at on your travels.

The a/c unit in our room would come on quit loud randomly at night but if you’re not a light sleeper this wouldnt be an issue. My partner sleeps like a rock and was fine but I wake up easily. Sure it was something the staff could sort out but we only stayed one night so wasn’t worth a complaint from us!

I loved the location near the 401 with a Petro Canada gas station very close by. Smooth check in and check out. Very personable front desk staff. My room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, nice white sheet set with blankets. TV worked good. Nice table with chairs. No carpeting whatsoever and I loved that. I hate carpets. There’s a microwave and small fridge in the room. The bathroom was large and very clean with plenty of towels, hairdryer, nice sink, soap, makeup remover wipes, etc provided. The door has an extra security lock and a security bar on the door. There’s a vending machine on the first floor. I saw some people check in with a dog. I didn’t have one lol, but it’s good to know. I highly recommend Motel 6, 10/10!!!! Thank you!

There was no breakfast, but coffee was continuously available. The room and halls were quiet and vey clean. The furniture was modern and comfortable. I had no issues with the pass card entry system, it worked flawlessly.

I was in town for a specific event, which kept me busy. However, those with families or a different circumstance may be looking for attractions, restaurants within a closer drive or walking distance.

Close to our relatives and many restaurants. Microwave and fridge in the room. Window that opens for fresh air!

The door hinges are very squeaky. The door closes loudly. The closer could be softened, or weather stripping added so the door doesn’t slam shut each time. Without carpeting in the room that sound really echos when guests are leaving and don’t hold the door until it’s closed.
