Our room and bathroom were stunning and comfortable. The warm cookies on arrival were amazing. We also got a mini bottle of sparkling wine and some chocolate - such a nice touch. Except our fridge wasn’t cold enough so the wine was warm.

We were travelling with friends and they had a studio room so not in the main building. Their room was not as nice as ours. They didn’t sleep well at all (no blinds) and the shower was complicated to operate (the instructions were in English only and not well positioned). The breakfast room is tiny. And I wasn’t impressed by the display and the tiny portions. We never saw any staff member except the chef. Nothing to do with the Inn but I wouldn’t recommend staying in Kingston.

Loved the breakfast. The cook had a special GF plate for me which was delicious. I loved the room. The tower room and the deck. The room was spacious. And the communication was excellent. Everyone was super nice. I felt taken care of.

The shower in my room was horrible. The rain shower head had very low pressure and was almost useless. I had difficulty with the temperature as well. I tried to use the other shower head and the valve fell off when I turned it. It wasn’t put on properly and therefore useless. Which made for an unpleasant experience. It’s the only thing that was bad about the stay and the room. The shower area is beautiful. Someone needs to have a look at the function of the shower head situation.

It's such a beautiful place. The attention to detail in decorating is what sets it apart from others. We stayed in the Edward Suite, which was on its own from the main mansion. It was absolutely stunning. The little extras were a surprise bonus. Nice note from the owners, with a bottle of wine and some chocolate treats. Expresso machine with plenty of coffee, tea etc... King sized Bed was very comfortable and I loved the large jacuzzi and shower. Propane fireplace in living room was very nice and cozy. This place is a hidden gem within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Breakfast in the dining room was perfect and the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking this place again. ❤️

Parking was great for us personally, but a little cramped once all the spots were filled up. This did not bother us a lot because we opted for a cab when we left for the venue we were going to. I dont think a large vehicle would be able to park on site, but they have other options available within a block of here.

A very decent place to stay. Easy to check-in and check-out, the instructions are clear enough to get into my room and everything that I would like to access. Free parking on site, and very close to the core of the city. The kitchen staff is ready to introduce the food during the breakfast. Staff is also responding quickly if you communicate via text. The price is really worth the stay.

The first bowl I took for breakfast has some food remaining. But the kitchen staff quickly notice that so I can pass that bowl to her and get the another bowl.

Great location just a couple of blocks from Princess St in a historic and beautiful district. The breakfast was good and they were able to accommodate my celiac requirements with no advance warning. Very impressive.

The rooms are all different, being a historic property. I loved that and expected it. My husband would have liked a room with a chair and ours did not have that (except up in the tower) because of the room configuration. That's really the only "negative". Overall very happy with our room and our stay.

Loved the story behind the building (Chef Kale gave us a little bit more information about the life of the building), room was as described. The staff was lovely and always available to help us. Beautiful decor. Shower products smelled really good. Room was very cozy. Breakfast was very good.

Bed base seemed to have issues on one side because the bed was very noisy. We wish there was an espresso machine in the dining room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room (Tower Queen with patio) was wonderful: in addition to a bedroom, a small vestibule, and a private patio, a tiny small spiral staircase (requires one to be very fit) leads up to a small tower with lovely views and a small reading/writing desk. The house has been beautifully restored with modern and period furniture and art. Its location is excellent: no more than a 10 minute walk from downtown Kingston and the harbour front, and a park and the university are also very close (less than a 10 minute walk) by.

Breakfast was delicious and different from so many other hotel type buffets...excellent food. Staff were helpful...knowlegeable and always accessible. The location was perfect for our needs. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

The only thing we noticed was the mini fridge was not cold enough..for our needs. An extra garbage can in the bedroom along with the one in the bathroom. But that is very nit picky....😝

I rarely leave reviews, but had to this time around. I’ve stayed here twice now, and chose it again because of the location (super central) and comfort (classic old style B&B). But it really exceed my expectations this time. We were upgraded to a beautiful coach house, which was an incredible surprise; we were treated to a bottle of sparkling and freshly baked cookies on arrival; communications were clear and frequent, as needed; and the breakfast was 10/10. Highly recommend as they’re obviously putting the effort into customer service and hospitality.

An incredibly charming, thoughtful place with a personal touch. Beautifully decorated and perfectly located within walking distance to shops/cafés/waterfront. Breakfast was probably the finest I had in a Canadian hotel/inn. A small but qualitative selection of fruit, pastries and savory options. Staff was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The other travelers were either very quiet or the house is generally not particularly noisy. A wonderful, memorable stay.

Forced air system (ventilation) felt a bit strong and cool around the window, but we used a heater that was provided in the room and the room was perfectly warm and comfy.
