High price for outside parking, not appropriate

Great room with a view over the Marina. Brilliant staff, especially on reception. Arrived early and allowed us to check in. Location was excellent with only a few mins walk to restaurants and bars. They allow pets. We brought our standard poodle and good small parks outside to walk the dog. Nice pool to have a swim and gym area.

The hotel has two rooms for breakfast , and whilst there one of them was closed for a photo shoot which caused over-booking and stress for people unable to sit down. The photo shoot should have been conducted after breakfast. This was recognised by the breakfast staff and reception and clearly not their fault. A little bit more thought to the residents needed and less on marketing was the answer. Everyone thought the same.

Pierre managed our check-in and he was such a warm, funny, and excellent person. He looked after us so well, and we enjoyed sharing a few stories and laughs together. He really made our check-in an excellent experience. And for the duration of our stay, all staff at the hotel were exceptional. Breakfast was also fabulous, with lots of choices. We have two vegans in our family, and the oatmeal station was a hit!

The pool was a little chilly, but we loved the dry sauna in the change room.

Our suite was very spacious. The naturalist decor with its wood accents and brown and cream overtones created a warm yet sophisticated ambience. The compact kitchen was quite smart and equipped with all the necessities including a small dining table with two chairs. The bathroom had ample counter and storage space and a toilet with impressively powerful flow. The bed was very comfortable. Mirrors abounded covering two sets of sliding doors and the wall above the bathroom sink. Breakfast offerings included an extensive variety of hot and cold items with a different selection of hot dishes daily. A fireplace in the eating area was a nice touch in keeping with the warm and welcoming character of the entire hotel. All the staff was very attentive and friendly.

There was no clock in the room which would have been helpful.

Staff heather in particular went above and beyond to accommodate us. I was there for a funeral and very stressed and she was wonderful and did everything she possibly could to make our stay comfortable and stress free .

The only comment I would make is that it is very hard to reach anyone in the local line. I tried and was never able to get through and the 1 800 line wasn’t great. Once we walked over though and spoke to Heather at the front desk she and the other staff were simply outstanding. They did everything possible to help make our stay at the hotel comfortable and stress free at a very difficult time

Our room was excellent and we were pleased that we could get into it earlier than the normal check in time to allow us to get dressed for our son’s convocation. Breakfast was good, warm and easy to get.the facilities were clean. Our checkout was easy.

I would have liked the option of softer pillows as the ones that were provided were a bit hard. The top drawer on the bedside table doesn’t close properly. It didn’t affect my stay but could cause and accident. Finally, I thought the price of the room was hefty for Kingston but clearly the inn can command it with a captive population arriving for convocation.

The tiles in the shower are extremely slippery, both me and my husband slipped. The tiles used are simply not appropriate or safe for shower usage. I can't emphasize this enough......very very unsafe

Loved the location. We walked to our amazing downtown restaurant and to our concert venue (Slush Puppie Place) and back to the hotel. Also walked Kingston’s waterfront trail the next day - we caught the walking trail right outside our hotel.

Ran out of some breakfast foods half-way through the slotted Breakfast service hours.

We love the comfortable beds and the free beverages in the lobby. The breakfast that comes with the room is very delicious and has a great variety. The location is perfect as you can walk everywhere.

The hot tub is super small. The pool temperature was very cold especially for little kids and seniors like my Mom who love to swim but found it uncomfortable.

We had a studio-room with a kingsize bed. Very comfortable and with a view to the lake. Hotel located top for a one block walk to doentoen Kingston. A very good breakfast included. Car could be parked outside or in the garage. We can recommend the hotel very much. A very convenient shower (not part as a bathtub as usual).
