We liked the location which was close to the party that we were attending that night; a cab office was right next door which was perfect for getting to and from the party. The decor and ambience were beautiful and the room was perfect for our needs. It was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. What is most important to me is cleanliness and the room/hotel far exceeded my expectations. The only thing is, as an older hotel, there is no elevator; this didn't concern us but would be an issue if someone had mobility issues. The website alerted us to this when we booked.

I forgot something in the room and had already checked out. There was a moment of panic as there was not a lot of people around and I had to leave a voicemail for the manager. Fortunately, someone helped me out and let me back into the hotel. The manager did return my call later.

We arrived in Guelph in the late afternoon before a 7 pm concert at the River Run Centre. We were able to park on the street out front while we moved in. The check in is in the restaurant downstairs. It was simple and efficient. They had an envelope ready for us with everything we needed then, off upstairs (no elevator) to our room. The woman who checked us in let us know where we could park for free overnight nearby. The concert was a 5 minute walk from there.

The location was amazing and the building was interesting. The ceilings were about 20 feet.

Our room was in the middle of the building and had NO windows, except for two skylights in the kitchen. I’d have expected that would be reflected in the price or listing. The couch was comfortable if you sat straight up, but it DESPERATELY needed side pillows if you wanted to curl up. The bed was squeaky every time anyone moved. This isn’t really the hotel’s fault, but someone upstairs kept moving a chair or something and it was really loud dragging/scraping sounds through the ceiling for about an hour. Really needed backup roll of paper towel and Kleenex - the roll/box we had was right at the end and no extras around. Since there’s no reception desk, if you don’t catch housekeeping in the morning you’re out of luck. There was dish soap but no brush or sponge to wash anything with.

Location - close to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Vibe - gorgeous building, well modernized. Decent security at the front door.

Location - busy street can be loud at night, pub underneath meant loud patrons hanging on the sidewalk below our windows. Didn’t anticipate having someone come into our unit to replenish toiletries. It’s fine; but we didn’t know. Please supply some teabags along with coffee pods, as not every can drink coffee.

The setup Inside the hotel was very nice, tidy and clean, bed was comfortable, two TVs, one was in the living area, the other was in the bedroom, so quite convenient to watch TV no matter where I stayed. There was a kitchen and a full-size fridge, it would be very convenient for a family staying there for several days and prepare a simple meal. A lot restaurants around, and the city garage just steps away.

Can not check in earlier, and there was no elevator, so it would be difficult for guests having a big luggage. There was not enough hangers in the closet.

We liked the full kitchen! Very clean and apt type of feel! The price was great for what we got.

The loud squeaking bed was distracting:) Was a bit hot and stuffy even after putting AC low and opening the windows No response to my message about if we can check out later The parking was confusing and we had to park on the side of the building until the event was over so we would not be charged (attendants were trying ti charge us as we entered)

This place was a good location to walk to any where you need to go in town. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean rooms and updated. Check in was very easy down in the restaurant. Felt very safe there which is big plus when I pick places to stay.

For other travelers, you do have to lug up luggage up the stairs. It wasn’t a problem for us but just heads up if stair way is a problem for you.

The room had everything required to make it a pleasant stay. It was a good location, very clean. supplies replenished daily.

No view of the street or city. Our view was of the rooftop of the building. Not the best place to place people who have more than a one night stay. the bedroom should have a ceiling fan to cool down the room or have the capability to open the window. Even when the kitchen and eating area is cold, the bedroom is hot. Because there is no stairs, the 3rd floor rooms should be rented to younger people not seniors. There is no one on site to make changes, etc and answer questions you may have. The connection between the hotel and parking area needs to cleaned out. I t has a very bad odour.

I stayed here for work on a Sunday night. Parking is next door in a municipal complex which was quite empty and I was able to park close the the door next to the hotel. I arrived about 10 min to 3pm but was able to check in. As instructed I went to the restaurant , I spoke with the Bartender who was very friendly and promptly came over and gave me my key package and explained everything. All the common areas of the hotel where spotless and it smelled fresh. Suite was clean and the Ac was on . Bed was comfortable and didn’t seem to be worn as some of th places I’ve stayed, lines where soft and not scratchy. Had a tv in the living area and the bedroom , however only a cable box in the living area would have been nice to been able to use it in the bedroom as well the bedroom tv was wifi and does have the ability for Netflix so it’s not a big downside for no cable. Bathroom has numerous soaps and something I don’t normally see body wash, wash mitt and mouth wash. The towels where decent quality and good size . Water pressure was good and the shower got hot quickly. They had robes . They have a restaurant onsite

I felt safe an comfortable. Check In was fast and easy.

When I checked out and put my entrance tog in the mailbox, It said that I was supposed to have a parking pass. I didn't get one. So since I had to come and go in my car I tried to talk my way out of paying to the people that worked there. I ended up having to pay $60.00 for my stay. The other thing was the 4 digit pin. I felt that it was too easy for someone to figure it out since it was basically my room number.
