Guelph Staybridge has exceptional service. The housekeeping staff kept cute little thank you cards with very nice chocolates. The staff for breakfast was exceptional, and the ladies did such a good job with the breakfast and talking to the customers. The front desk staff were courteous and very helpful regardless of the time of day. It was overall a very pleasant stay. The overall feeling was like staying at home with someone constantly taking care of cleaning your room and providing you with hotel service. The kitchenette in the room is an absolute plus!

The variety in the food. I was there for 2.5 weeks and got bored of the same breakfast and evening snacks.

Friendly staff. Clean environment. Room had a nice size fridge, small dishwasher. Drinking glasses, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was included in the price. Lots of options.

The pullout sofa was uncomfortable to sit on. We opened it up and it had chips and a plastic lid of a container. Extra sheets were in the closet so we changed it. But there was even food on the mattress. Also quite the gap at the door which allowed exterior noise to be heard all hours of the night. I wanted to pay by debit when I checked in. Lady at front desk said I could do that at check out. Guy who checked me out auto charged the credit card.

The entire building was extremely clean and smelled very clean and fresh. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when we asked for assistance. The included breakfast buffet was small but had everything one could want/need for a wholesome, filling breakfast. The room (Queen Suite with Jacuzzi Tub) was very large and easily accomodated myself, my friend and my puppy. The toilet, sinks, shower and jacuzzi were all very clean. The carpets were very clean and there was no musty or damp smell. The kitchenette was well stocked with more than we needed for the week but would be very convenient to have for long-term stays. The laundry facilities, though small (4 washers and 4 dryers) included very high-end machines that had my clothes smelling more fresh than ever! There was also adequate space to fold the laundry and the room even had it's own laundry basket! Talk about convenience! Staying at the Staybridge Suites Guelph was overall a great experience! It was comfortable, clean, convenient and very pet friendly! My puppy had a blast exploring all the new smells too! If I ever find myself in Guelph with the need to stay in a hotel, I will 100% be staying at the Staybridge Suites! I will also be staying at a Staybridge Suites anytime I need to travel in the future!

The only negative aspect of the Staybridge Suites is the location. It is right off the highway, which is convenient, however, there is nothing within walking distance, so if you don't drive it's difficult to get anywhere without using a Taxi or rideshare program. The good thing is that it is only a 15 minute ride to Downtown Guelph and the train station. I had to travel to and from Downtown Guelph twice during my stay and my total Uber costs (with a $5.00 tip for each ride) was approximately $100.00, which I thought was definitely worth it to be able to have such a wonderful, safe and comfortable stay at the Staybridge Suites.

Well appointed room .

The wifi was very weak and often disconnected on us. Sometimes while connected to the network, there was no internet connection. The tv was in an awkward location in the room so we didn’t actually use it. The workmanship was questionable. For example, the bathroom door latch was installed backwards. Instead of being able to pull the door shut without turning the handle, you could push it open without turning the handle - kinda weird… Also, the free breakfast wasn’t great.

From the moment I arrived I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk agent. She was exceptional. The rooms are very comfortable and offer all amenities. The light dinner provided was also surprising and very welcomed after having traveled for hours to get to the hotel.

The only thing I didn't like was the location of the hotel. Because the local eateries were at least 2 kilometers away it was not possible to walk anywhere. Also no sidewalks in the neighborhood...

Rooms are equipped with everything you could need, including all toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc.) and hairdryer, ironing board and iron. There is also free use of washing machines and dryer (on ground floor) and a laundry basket is provided in the room. The fridge is a really decent size.

The coffee is awful. I have been before, so bought my own coffee to use in the drip machine in my room, as the stuff provided is not very strong. But the coffee in the dining room is even worse! This is not just in this hotel though, I found you have to hunt around to find a decent coffee anywhere outside of the big cities, maybe I'm just spoilt living in Europe.

Not a huge deal but the suite I'd rented was not available, I was however granted two rooms for the same price as the original quote. The rooms were very well appointed and breakfast in the morning was very good. Did not use any of the hotel's other facilities.

Regarding the two rooms provided in place of the suite the following morning I was surprised to see my VISA charged more than my quoted rate. On checking with the guest services it was explained a $100.00 deposit had been applied to both rooms. I would've appreciated being explained this during check-in. Lastly the soaps provided do not wash off easily and seem to have left a residue on the bathtub making it quite slippery and extremely difficult to clean off of one's glasses.

The location was perfect and it was very clean. The staff I dealt with were helpful and courteous.

**This is not a complaint. ** The room I originally booked had a hot tub. When I arrived I was told the hot tub had a leak so I was provided a room without one. The shower head in the new room was broken and spit water literally everywhere making showering very difficult until I removed the shower head myself. I informed the front desk at check out.

The location was was great ,the staff was very pleasant,helpful,friendly. And the cookies was so good better than a little candy.Breakfast was great, fresh salad fruit that’s a plus including,walnuts,cranberries / yogurt Cleanness , functional kitchen and toilet/bathroom.

Heating/cooling system is noisy ,either heat then cold air, warm blanket were missing ,had to buy one.Pillows not comfortable at all. ,

Spacious room, comfy bed, having breakfast included was a great bonus. Nice and quiet - no traffic noise. Lovely outdoor area to relax in.

We stayed for 10 nights and didn’t get a full room clean, possibly we were supposed to organise this at the front desk. Towels were replaced each day however. On-site laundry was great, but unfortunately several washing machines were out of order so had to wait for a machine to become available.
