We had a great time at the Hidden Valley Resort. We were there for 2 nights, including New Year’s Eve, which turned out to be an awesome evening at the hotel. Great party, music and fireworks show at 6pm just outside the hotel (perfect time for younger kids to enjoy as well). Our group of over 20 people had a really good time - adults and kids (6yr old - 15yr old kids)! The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but clean. Breakfast was okay for the price. Kids loved the pool and having the ski hill right there was a bonus! Overall we were all pleased with our stay and would recommend for budget friendly getaways :)

Rooms were decent and we love private beach (with free access to sports equipment) and access to pool. Charlean who was running kids activities was amazing and kids were excited and happy to participate. Its an older hotel, but overall we were happy with our stay.

Long wait time in restaurant. Waiters worked super hard and we appreciate them. ( Yet, We chose to eat out in the town for the rest of the stay).

Staff was awesome. Charlene at the from desk was amazing and although bookingdot.com screwed everything up Charlene fixed what she could, and got me into an accessible room due to my mobility issues without issue. She checked on me the next day. Joseph my room Stewart was fantastic and proactive being helpful to get me whatever I need and ensured daily, anything I wanted or need for my room he was enthusiastic and had a detailed focus joyfully keeping guests happy and content; exceding expectations. Joseph was proactive very polite and kind. I will not forget him. Dominic was quick fix & adjusting my heater right away. Cold severely bother my Medical condition. Don saw me with a blanket over my shoulders and even got the fireplace started in the dining room where I enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Staff were ashtonishing. I would recommend anyone visit there. Dinners were fresher and cooked in-house. Exceptional flare and the chicken curry lime soup was my farorites. My compliments to the chef. Comfort and staff are top notch. It’s the stuff that makes the resort the success, staff exceeded expectations. and they are the reason we’ll return

Our room was spotless and the cleaning crew were pleasant and attentive to our needs. The view from our room was outstanding! The staff were welcoming, accommodating, friendly and did a superb job in making sure we were looked after and comfortable. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave! We will be back again!

The room was very clean and beautiful with a spectacular view of the lake and trees. This resort has a spa, including a hot tub, a pool, and a sauna. I enjoyed a very relaxing facial at their spa.The staff was very friendly, polite, and respectful. Overall, we had a relaxing and peaceful stay.

The resort is quite dated and could use some repairs ex. Room door sticks and needs a good push to open or close. The indoor pool gets lots of use and the wear and tear is evident.

We were greeted with a smile and warm welcome by the front desk staff Charlean Domingo who was very accommodating and helpful. The general manager was also very helpful and accommodating.

They could not find my paperwork when I asked if the deposit for property was to be reversed. I am not sure of the charges. As there were additional fees. I would have liked to be reassured of the charges. Thank you

Loved have access to the canoes the spa and pool were are great place to relax at the end of the day.

Pillows were a bit too hard but the staff were amazing and found some more comfortable ones for us. It said that there was a tumble dryer in the room but definitely no tumble dryer or laundry facilities on the property.

It was a lovely retreat on the edge of Algonquin provincial Park. It’s a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a comfortable bedroom. With amazing views and great pool and sauna. The place smelled great.

The bedrooms bathroom was in desperate need of an update and refresh of carpets through the communal areas.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was great. We will be back for another anniversary
