The hotel location is very good, as it is not far from downtown but it is not in downtown, so it is quieter and convenient. There are also lots of restaurants and cafés there, and even the Brown Loaf Bakery, where you can buy fresh croissants every morning. The room was perfect for us as a family, as it had a kitchenette (with everything we needed for cooking), a seating area and a desk. The bathroom had a good shower (water needed a couple of minutes to heat up, and pressure was good). Everything was impeccably clean, and housekeeping came every day to clan and replenish our coffee/teas. The staff were absolutely fantastic, and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We will return!

Location. Close to uOttawa station. Pleasant area and little traffic. Room was good size. Clean and comfortable furnishings with good bathroom. Good to see dispensers in shower for shampoo, gel etc. Good coffee machine. On site laundry was one reason I chose this hotel. Very reasonable price forecast 30 minute wash and tumble dry. Detergent powder on sale at reception.

Could do with a non slip shower cubical floor or rubber mat. WiFi didn't work too well. Could do with mains plugs next to the beds. There was a USB port but really low output taking ages to recharge a phone. One lift out of two was out of order and being several floors of rooms on a busy weekend, there were delays waiting for a space to go up or down.

The staff are wonderful - very attentive and friendly! The location is central, our suite was well laid out and spotlessly clean, and the underground parking onsite was convenient.

Our suite was very warm. There’s no controllable A/C in the room and the central A/C hadn’t been turned on yet during our stay in early May. The bedroom in particular only has a tiny window that actually opens and even with it being open throughout our stay and using fans we were very kindly provided with, it was still 25 degrees Celsius and rather uncomfortable especially for our baby when sleeping at night. Other than that, our stay was perfect!

One of the lifts was out of order which meant that there was a long wait to access the upper floors. There was a mix up over our rooms. The staff were rather inflexible. We had to change into a room which had been vacated by our family and then housekeeping didn’t change the sheets in time for us before the evening. It would have been easier to have spent our extra night in our existing room

The hotel is a bit tired, but comfortable, well-placed and easy to access. Most importantly, though, the staff are excellent. Check in/check out were spot on, the maintenance team went above and beyond for a room issue and I had an issue in the car park this morning and it couldn't have been better handled. Thank you so much to the team for their excellent service!

Hotel itself is definitely a three star hotel - bit old and tired.

The separate bedroom was perfect for our group, and the beds were super comfortable. Reasonably priced self-parking on-site.

The bedroom was very cramped with limited access to electrical outlets. Although some things had been renovated, the room was still very dated. The bathroom was also very small and cramped. We didn’t need the kitchenette but for some who are staying longer, this would be a great feature to have. The TV quality was not great, but we weren't there to watch TV. The room was very stuffy, so it was good that we were able to open the windows. The underground parking lot was down a VERY steep access, and parking our mid-sized SUV was a challenge. Overall, the room was okay; clean and comfortable. If basic is what you're looking for, this is the place.

Perfectly situated to explore downtown Ottawa. Close to Parliament, Ottawa River, Rideau Canal, and bus station nearby. Good restaurant as part of the hotel, and plenty of places to eat along Elgin street. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was large and had everything you could need. This hotel also has good laundry facilities.

Check in was great. No issues. Room was located on the 10th floor with a great view of downtown Ottawa. The room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and newly redone. Very quiet at night. We will stay here again in the future. Location is perfect and offers lots within walking distance.

Not much to be said here. Didn't run into any issues during our stay. I guess the only inconvenience during our stay was the only ice machine at the hotel is located on the ground floor. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely suite of rooms, fully stocked with great products. In a great location, on a quiet street, walking distance to restaurants, the canal, Parliament and city attractions. We really enjoyed our stay in Ottawa! Highly recommend Embassy Suites!

they let me check in early as always they are very condiderate…the housekeepings are friend as well as the reception and kuya pinoy help me with my luggage…overall it was a very good stay again as always..
