The unit I chose is perfect for family. Kitchen is ok with extra supply to use. Beds are comfy and airconditoning is good Location is close to the center of Ottawa.

Basement Parking height is tight and fee is not included for the room rate. I paid $37 plus tax and I had my chihuahua/papillon @70 plus tax for a night.

You get a full suite in a central location. You can walk to just about anywhere in downtown Ottawa.

Parking fees seem high

The location gives you access to a lot of bars, restaurants and stores. You can also walk to the center from the hotel.

My first observation when I came to the place was that it was outdated and seems to stuck in the past (Horror movie settings came to mind). However, the longer I stayed, the place grew on me. Yes it may be outdated but everything are still functional.

Great location and value for money. Very central- 15 minute walk from Parliament Hill. Shops and restaurants nearby. Enough space for family of five. Nice pool and the gym does the job. Room could have been cleaner, particularly the bathroom floor, and more crockery and cutlery could have been provided. There was not enough for us. We used the washing machine and drier- cost effective and clean. For value for money and location, very good. Parking in the hotel car park is expensive but we were able to park on the street for free over the weekend. Safe location and staff were helpful.

Could have been cleaner, particularly bathroom floor and skirting boards. More crockery and cutlery, at least to cater for the number of guests staying, should be provided.

The room was very well appointed, with dishes, cutlery, glasses, tea kettle, etc. Each room was spacious. It was warm enough at night. The location was perfect for our itinerary downtown. I'm glad parking was available. I was pleasantly surprised NOT to hear other guests either on the floor or over our head! And I thought the price was extremely fair - another bonus surprise. Oh, and each front desk person was gracious and very helpful. And I liked the free apple, too.

I forgot to bring my swimsuit - not your fault - I only wished I'd also been able to enjoy the pool. Next time.

If you stay at this place, you get a whole spacious apartment! The rooms have a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, a living room and a balcony. What do you want more? It's really close to the city center and all the attractions and sights. There are lots of restaurants, take aways and pubs nearby (the location itself is located in a quiet street). You also have a huge supermarket and a rexall there. I didn't use the gym and pool.

It was very dark in the room and the furniture design is really bad taste 80ies. They did their best on the photos on booking.com but you have to take all the brightness and color away. The housekeeping only made my bed and emptied the trash, I didn't have the impression that they cleaned the bath.

Location, right in downtown. Hotel with kitchen and two bedrooms is a rare find.

Parking is very expensive $39+ taxes. Parking spots very narrow and very few available as there were about 8 that were exclusively reserved for electric vehicles while charging. Second level basement is in a very steep drop. Room is very dark as the wallpaper is dark and the curtains do not open properly. Also very few lamps that worked. The electric outlets were old and did not hold the phone chargers. I think the hotel would benefit with a little upgrade. Swimming pool very very cold. Hot tub very very hot. Exercise room did not have weights or space to exercise.

Very helpful front desk. Free apples were a nice touch. Room layout was clearly formerly an apartment. Very good shower/bath combo. Balcony was a pleasant touch.

Maid was unreliable. Cleaned 1st day, left rubbish bag tied up in bedroom 2nd day (raised with reception), didn't come at all on 3rd day. Would welcome a TV channel list. Kitchen clearly very old, but still functional. Could also get a smaller coffee table as we couldn't set up the sofa bed without moving it.

The location was excellent. The staff were very good and the room was very comfortable. The kitchenette was excellent. There were vouchers for discounts at various places in town.

It would have been nice to have been informed about the facilities available as we missed out on the pool, sauna and hot tub, which would have been great after walking all day. ( As we were in Canada for a month and moved hotels every day or second day, it was hard to keep track of what facilities were available at each)

I lived in Ottawa for over 20 years and now I come here to visit my son and his family. It was fantastic to have my own little apartment right near Elgin!!! I walked all over centertown. The apartment is fabulous. The pool and the playroom for kids were incredible and I won't stay anywhere else going forward. I was able to save money because we had a kitchen and stay healthy as well. There are laundry facilities and a great restaurant on the main level. Plus you will always feel safe here.
